Great shop with a good selection. I thought the prices are fair as well. We will be back.

The game collection is outstanding; there's lots of retro games and consoles, and also new games and accessories for the lowest prices around. This place is the best. As someone who both collects sealed product seriously and also buys casually across retro and…read moremodern collectibles, I had a frustrating experience here that ultimately comes down to consistency in how products are treated. GameForce clearly understands the collectible market when it comes to retro video games. Pricing reflects condition, rarity, and demand in a way that aligns with how secondary markets function, and I don't have an issue with that. That approach makes sense for collectible inventory. However, the handling of Pokémon products feels fundamentally inconsistent with that same logic. In my experience, factory shrink wrap is removed prior to sale. While the contents inside may still be untouched, sealed condition is a major factor in both collector value and authenticity for these types of products. From a collector standpoint, sealed packaging is not just packaging--it is part of the product's condition and long-term value. Once that seal is removed, the item is no longer in a verifiable factory-sealed state, which changes how it is viewed in the secondary market. What makes this more noticeable is the contrast: the store clearly participates in condition-based pricing and scarcity-driven value in one category, while actively altering condition in another. Even if the intention is to discourage scalping or bulk buying, the effect is still a reduction in collectible integrity from a collector's perspective.

Flippant, Dishonest, and Deeply Disrespectful Buying Experience and the records are overpriced…read more I have shopped here in the past and based on the high prices of the used records, I assumed my used records would sell at fair market value here but this was not the case. I brought in a curated stack of clean, high‑demand records and was met with one of the most disrespectful experiences I have ever had. The buyer behind the counter was openly flippant, dismissive, and acted like I had no idea what I was bringing in. His attitude alone set the tone -- rushed, condescending, and completely uninterested in treating me with respect. I think it takes longer than five minutes to look at the quality and condition of 30 records. He opened with a lowball offer that did not match the titles, rarity or the condition, and when I questioned it, he said "records not selling" while we are standing in a store literally packed with people buying vinyl. It was insulting, and it was clearly meant to make me feel like I should be grateful for whatever lowball number he threw out. The moment I pushed back and asked for my records back, his offer suddenly jumped up but still well under a fair trade. That tells you everything about their honesty and ethics. It was not about fair value -- it was about seeing what they could get away with - how low they could lowball. To top it off, they paid with a check instead of cash, which made the whole thing feel even more disrespectful, inconvenient, and dismissive. In hindsight, I wish I had taken my records back but I was so disoriented by the disrespect and clerk behavior. And it made me realize why I never sell or trade records. If you care about being treated with basic respect or honesty, take your business somewhere else. I will never buy anything from this disreputable unethical establishment. And you should not either. This is not a mom and pop business but a business operating without integrity exploiting its customers.

The staff is friendly and helpful to answer all of my questions. I reflected on all the cool vinyl albums that I've had in past and at Twist & Shout you can relive them & purchase them. Their selection is so vast that I believe you would find what you are looking for. I came to see if they wanted any of my old CDs. They did take some of them and I received store credit! Free parking is available in the back. Go check it out, you won't be disappointed! Who knew that they have been around since 1988 and it all began with 2 English teachers purchasing the store at an auction. Oh and check out the food trucks across the street on Saturday's before 1 pm!

My husband and I come just to grab some books and read/skim them while enjoying a coffee. This Barnes & Noble has a nice big Starbucks attached (it's separate - so you have to purchase of leave B&N merchandise before going in) but it does make it nice to get a coffee and wander the bookstore. The one downside to this B&N is that a few months ago they rearranged a lot of the store to make room for games, Legos, movies, and a lot of non-book related things ... Kind of taking away from the whole enjoyment of a store just for books!

Never got that email, stopped calling, ordered the book the day before from Amazon and had it on my front porch the day it came out. Thanks for nothing Barnes and Noble. Also, you cost more.

He made sure I knew to use a different plug than what came with it. I then asked what the "Nintendo Family Computer" was behind him. He then showed me an original famicom Nintendo Family Computer and explained how it's the upgraded version of (that) He then showed me the top loader American Nintendo that came out around the same time, looked similar. He then told me those need a different plug than they come with and that Japanese plugs work in American outlets, but they are higher voltage so can damage the Famicom (either one) Then he sold me two plugs because I needed them, for the future AV famicom. I would have bought the one he had but a customer was coming back for it from the bank. I don't have the pictures I took because I couldn't get help with my (potentially) bricked phone, because the Xfinity store I went to threw me out after berating their own employee who apparently had diabetes and said "don't help this guy, he has autism" because of my Autism Awareness Captain Crunch whistle. I am glad there are helpful stores like Doc's where they respect people.
