There are free honey tastings and if you like spice I recommend the hot honey, if not the one with cocoa in has depth and richness. So tasty and so healthy. There is also a great collection of island made honey beauty products, from lip balms to sparkle sticks to massage oil. Add custom tea mixes into the mix, along with sage for burning to cleanse your house, baby products, and a great selection of jewellery and you have a lot to browse and enjoy. I ended up buying a lovely pair of hand made beaded earrings (the lady at the cash wrap was making jewellery when I went to pay), and some Bee Well tea for a friend undergoing surgery. The beaded earrings were a steal as they were very like some I had seen at the Lahaina Sunday market which were twice the price! This is a great place to find gifts for birthdays, or for vacation goodies. Plus some of the tastiest honey on island ;)

I then asked about the sage and crystals and again she replied "Are you a crystal person" I replied "No, but it looks fascinating and I would love to learn", she replied aggressively and said "I need to do my own research". I went to the counter and checked out and the entire time it felt like she was being competitive or ego building herself. Asking where I was from(I live here) and generally being very rude and dismissive. I checked out and confronted her behavior. Apparently she thinks that asking questions about products is "her being used" which is nonsense. It's part of her job. I don't recommend coming in, completely unnecessary energy. If the owners have a camera I recommend them check her behavior. This is not appropriate and is is driving away business.

Lois is one of those vendors who always made time to chat and provides thoughtful suggestions on what she thinks might work well. When I had no idea what she was talking about flower wise (which was a lot of the time!), she patiently goes through each flower with me (had me go on a website to look each of them up) to make sure we're on the same page. When I let Lois know what kind of budget I was working with, she right away said of course she can work with that. From that point forward, she consciously tried to help me keep to the budget I was aiming for. Day of my wedding, I couldn't be happier with how all the flowers turned out for the bouquets, boutonnières, maile lea, table center pieces, circle arch design, aisle flowers, pedal toss, etc! When things with my initial planner turned sour, Lois was completely supportive and had no issues continuing to work with us and our new planner. We walked in and met Sheryl who was so warm and welcoming and told me a little bit about their lei workshops. Unfortunately we would be leaving before their next event but as we were speaking I was overcome by this scent throughout the small store. I asked what it was and it was this heavenly Jasmine fragrance. I tried the spray and then the oil and she sent us on our way and told us to come back only if I couldn't stop thinking about it. Walking around town I felt like a cartoon character where the scent is glowing as they pass by. It was amazing. Long story short, I went back and bought the oil. I love it so much and have been wearing it everyday since we left. I can't wait to go back and visit to take one of their workshops and learn more about the culture and traditions of lei making.

I didn't buy a lei, but I was excited to find a Hawaiian sun visor hat. I wish I knew the Hawaiian name for it. All I know, is that it is beautiful, it shades my eyes, and is soft and comfy!
