She was friendly and responsive on the phone, got my wife an appointment, and got to work as soon as my wife walked through the door. Laurie is friendly and accommodating, has a great personality, and I can now say, having just left the salon, that she did a FANTASTIC job! I myself LOVE the color, it's got the desired and intended purple and a little bit of auburn. It is spot on, Laurie nailed it! And more importantly, my wife, Cheryl, absolutely loves it! She agrees the color is just perfect, just what she wanted. I could overhear a little bit of the conversation between the two of them, Cheryl just gave some background info, Laurie listened, and that was it, she did her thing and it came out great! And just like the color, the length is also perfect. It's a pixie cut. Sometimes the front is still too long, when other stylists do it. Not in the case. Again, just the right length and style. Laurie also managed her time and her clients perfectly. She knows what she's doing, she knew when to start people's color, then move on to another client, then move back, and so on. Oh, and free wifi for the husband while waiting, too! As I jokingly exclaimed upon leaving Mane Attraction, "that's it, we're gonna have to move to Vero Beach now." Seriously, though, it's so hard for women to find just the right stylist and Mane Attraction did a great job.

She told me that the "full charge policy is stated all over the website," yet when I checked, the website isn't even functional -- there is no clear policy posted anywhere because the site doesn't work. The lack of professionalism, communication, and honesty was shocking. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this salon.

I recently went to The Hair Tiki, in Sebastian, a decision I have regretted ever since. I went in w beautiful long brown hair, and asked for ombré, cascading layers. I had a one minute consultation, and she grabbed the scissors and in one cut 20 inches were gone, and she threw it on the floor. Arlene mixed the "color" which later I found out was bleach and completely stripped my hair. I have never had someone apply color so fast and sloppily. (All the while she danced around the room, completely ecstatic about firing a girl, Dee, that day. I should have known while they were laughing and collecting her belongings and throwing them in a box this business was not one that was fair and deserving of support.) I was put under the dryer for 40 mins, while she took another client. After, the cut and color wasn't what I came in for, she quickly got upset, because she had another client there, and mixed more bleach...and repeat process. 3 processes later, 2 additional cuts to hide damage, nearly 6 hrs, 24 inches gone in parts of my hair, almost 2 hrs under the dryer, worst color and cut of my life =$173. She blamed me for not liking my hair, fabricated lies of my behavior to harm my reputation, and is now stalking me, my family and friends, and even paid for a background check, all because she didn't like the review I gave on her Facebook page. The only offering was for me to sit back in her chair...which understandably, I hope, you can see why that doesn't appeal to me, and I just don't have any more hair to give. I hope my honest experience saves you from the same butchering. FYI, Arlene, the owner...keeps deleting unfavorable reviews on different review sites...which may be why they have 5 stars. read more

Arlene was awesome from start to finish. She was very professional and easy to be around, I loved my cut ,color and style, so did my husband.
