My wedding was very moody and romantic, so we rented furniture items and dining chairs to match. I needed a lot of guidance selecting smaller decorative pieces (e.g., pillows) to match the sofas we rented from Folklore and the entire Folklore team made the whole process very easy for me and my husband; they coordinated everything directly with our wedding planners including the delivery and pickup. It eliminated a ton of stress and allowed my husband and I to relax, enjoy the day and be in the moment; and let me tell you, the event space looked INCREDIBLE! Folklore was very professional to work with and the day-of set up and evening pick-up was seamless. The entire Folklore team was amazing to work with; they were right on time and extremely organized. We found Folklore to be very reasonably priced and they make payment super easy too! The first time I met with Mike I told him I wanted something beautiful but with a "wow" factor. Boy, did he deliver! He and Gloria were so incredible to work with. They were so knowledgeable and full of incredible ideas. There was nothing they couldn't source for me. I had many meetings and phone calls with them and they were both ALWAYS very professional and happy to brain storm with me. Truly they went above and beyond to make sure everything was PERFECT! The staff that handled the installation were also incredible. Professional and hard working. The night of the event, the head of the installation crew stayed at the event in case of any hiccups. Of course there weren't any. I told Mike at our first meeting that I was worried about rain and cool weather. Mike suggested a clear tent that held our 200 guests. They installed three GORGEOUS crystal chandeliers in the tent, sheer white fabric draping and market lights. There is no other word than "magic" to describe the inside of the tent. The light in the tent kept changing as the sun went down. Then when it was dark, the market lights and chandeliers reflected off the clear tent ceiling. Wow, wow, wow. The chandeliers were also on dimmers so we could turn them down slightly when it was time to dance. In order to make sure my guests were not cold, Mike installed a forced air heater in the tent that was controlled with a thermostat. The temperature was perfect! We also rented all our tables, chairs, linens, dishes, cutlery, drinking glasses, bar setup, easels, yard games and oversized lighted letters from Allies. Everything was in perfect condition. Their inventory is beautiful (that's why two stars instead of one), which is why selected them for a weekend of multiple Christmas 2023 activities for my boss's family. I won't go into long details and I fully expect a response from the company blaming me (as I see they've done to other reviewers). Basically, they strongly lack in internal communication as a team, will put substitutions on your order without telling you (and then deliver them anyway), will not care if they mess up, and promise to order custom color linens (that they offered to do) but then you find out day-of that they don't have them. They may even be spiteful as to not reply to urgent messages the day before the first event...and a threaten, at 8pm the night before Christmas Eve, to not show up. As an event planner knows, sometimes clients don't give detail decisions until the last minute. A professional, experienced rental company knows how to go with the flow and works as a team to make the event great. Especially when they're making near five figures, plus generous delivery gratuities at each delivery. These are not experienced professionals. They probably thought I forgot to write this review, as I told them I would do. I stayed calm and respectful during the process (over fear they really wouldn't show up, due to their attitude). But I am obviously still resentful as I plan this year's events. I wanted to be sure other event planners were warned to look elsewhere....as I am doing this year. I truly hate writing negative posts, but this is what I read reviews for as well.

You told us how busy you were today having 2 other displays/events and it's obvious that we didn't get the best quality based on how busy you were. - We really just wanted to chat through this with you to figure out a reasonable updated price, but you avoided discussing it with us and never responded, so we made this review. - We did not say 6-7pm was fine for pickup. We mutually agreed on 4pm specifically bc our son goes to sleep between 6-7pm and we wanted everything from the party cleaned up before that. - The fact that it fell over again AFTER your employee supposedly fixed it, says it all. We had to go find bags of gravel to try to keep it standing during the middle of our party. - We did not leave her "equipment" in the street. We live in a nice neighborhood and we left your wooden boards near our front door, leaning safely against our house. - Gol was over 3 hours late to pickup her "equipment" so we actually thought we were doing her a favor, bringing everything to the front of our house. Super disappointed to be honest - these things happen. I have been left no choice but to leave this negative review. I have reached out to Jackie multiple times through text and email, and have received no response from her for 7 days now. I am a very reasonable person and I understand that things happen and life gets busy, but she has also been actively posting on both of her instagram accounts during these past 7 days. When I first reached out, she was emailing me back in a very timely manner and then when she received my security deposit, all communication stopped. I cannot move forward with getting a permit for my daughter's birthday party at a park because she needs to update her liability insurance for the bounce house. She assured me before booking that she had done a few parties at the same park and had everything I needed to get the permit. My daughter's party is three weeks away and this leaves me very little time to find other vendors. I cannot recommend Little Ones Party and Jackie less, just based on communication with her clients alone. I am sad because her stuff looks very cute and I was very much so looking forward to working with her.
