I recently placed a reservation for 3 tables & chairs and paid the invoice 2 weeks before my event. The day of my event they did not show up at the requested time so I called, and called, and called. I must've called like 6 times before someone finally answered. By this time I'm frantic because I have guests arriving and no where to sit and eat outside. The reason they didn't show up is because they told me I didn't initial some secondary contract. I never even saw that email until I searched for it and it was in a junk folder. I just feel like they did a horrible job handling this situation. They clearly took my money but couldn't courtesy call to confirm if I was missing something. If I didn't call they probably would have never even showed up. And they took almost an hour to arrive. They let me hang onto the tables & chairs until Monday but still besides the point on how they handled this. read more

I just rented from Ara's for a bridal shower I was throwing. I originally ordered tables and chairs for an outside event. Mother Nature had a change of plans and rain was in the forecast. A day before my event I contacted Ara's to see if I could switch items around since I wasn't going to need that many tables anymore since we had to move everything inside. Great service. Professional staff. I rented a propane heater which was tested after setup. Heater would not work when I tried to use 2 hours later Saturday evening. So I will start by saying that this company is awesome. I've used them multiple times. I didn't think about writing a review for them but after reading the last review that was written, I just had to. The people at ARA'S does everything they can to make their customers happy. I was in awe when I read that 1 star review because I would never see that from them. This is a family owned company and I know personally that when they made a mistake, they owned up to it and did everything in their powers to make it better. They have great products and great customer service. They were always prompt and always talk to me like a guest and family rather than a client or customer. I don't even know where to start with HORRIBE this company has been. Everything seemed great during booking and scheduling then the actual event came. They were supposed to deliver and set up between 12-1pm by 3pm with no contact I began calling all the numbers I had and they assured they would be arriving shortly. They finally arrived over 4 hours late (causing me to miss me wedding rehearsal and do a mock one at 11pm that evening) and then didn't even set anything up and were gone before I could even go through a checklist to ensure everything was there. Fast forward to pick up which was supposed to be between 8-9am they are again no where to be seen. Multiple calls, which were not answered or replied to via text insisted they talk to the property Owner instead of me, the renter. Eventually they stopped responding and my checkout time For the venue came and went causing me to incure a $500 late check out fee. Finally after speaking to ara himself, they showed up at 6:30pm over 10 hours late and walked the entire property and said three chairs were missing but the owner was certain they just were not delivered and because they were not on property and said we were good to go. Fast forward yet again and they are trying to charge us over $600 for missing rentals which is complete BS!! They have done nothing to right all the issues they caused and I hope no one else goes through this!! STAY AWAY! Update- they claim Sunday pickup was not included but I have emails stating that the rentals would be picked up Sunday morning. They also claim the venue told them we were not charged a late exit fee, we have talked to the venue owners several times and they confirm they have NEVER said this to Aras. They are lying. Do not trust this business. read more
