Love the variety of sweets and pastries Boiano has! So many choices from cakes to mousse to cookies to bread. The service is quick and they pack up everything nicely. I tried Tiramisu which was fluffy, light and not super sweet which is perfect for me. I also had the mini Napoleon which was super sweet. I wish the flaky layers were a bit more crispy. The coconut lemon cake was rich and creamy but also very, very sweet. If you have a big sweet tooth and love your desserts on the high sugar end, these will be great for you! read more

There's a lot to choose from here, so start with the Pignoli cookies and go from there in this Italian bakery in the town of Mamaroneck. This family-run business, has a dizzying selection of pastries, breads, cakes to order, etc. Space is large- though not sure if you can sit and have your bite indoors. Ask. Got my mom a few pastries, some of their house-made fruit wedge gummies and goodies for me. Service was pleasant and price is affordable. My Chocolate Meringue had a subtle cocoa flavor yet- moist as were the Hershey-shaped Amaretto cookies. I'm a sucker for Pignoli cookies and these were darn good. From the outside though, this gem may not stand out much. But head inside- the treats are waiting for you. read more

I stopped in for the first Time to get a birthday cake and some goodies. The employees behind the counter were extremely nice and friendly. I took home a chocolate and vanilla cake, with a hard shell on the outside and butter cream and fudge on the inside. The cake was good, very moist, and the fudge was delicious. The one thing I didn't like about the cake was that it seemed wet, not sure if it was an extract of some sort or what it was. Whatever it was, there was too much of it. The black-and-white cupcakes were excellent! We really enjoyed those. Napoleon and brownies were good. I really wish I could give this establishment a 3 1/2 star! I'm going to try another cake out, and hope it's perfect. Overall, a really nice experience that I will go back to. read more

I had the Italian cake with the almonds and the creams were wrong in it and no rum layer. Frosting tasted fake! It was nothing special! The Stoglitella was very good. The Baba's were totally disgusting!! The flavor and cream filling were off; the rum flavor was cheap tasting crap. The filling tasted like pudding out of a can. Texture was horrible. HOWEVER: they have zero COVID restrictions on number of patrons inside. There were about 6 people eating inside without masks and about 8 people flooded into the to order at the counter. I have searched and emailed bakery near me and other cities, some bakery have Lobster Tails but none with French Cream . That's my weakness and addiction ; French Cream. They have a lot staff on stand by; ready to take your orders. No long lines or wait. As I approached the Boaino Bakery on Mamaroneck Avenue, Mamaroneck, New York there was plenty of parking with disabled parking also available. I entered the bakery and it was PACKED with customers! There was plenty of seating. There was seating for people with disabilities and a ramp entering the bakery. I was greeted with a smile by the staff. I offered the customer to go in front of me as I was overwhelmed with the enormous selection of pastries, cookies, cakes, and ice cream. I finally ordered a small cannolo. Antoinetta did not charge me. I must say I had cannolis in multiple Countries, by far this was the best Cannolo I have had! Thank you Boaino Bakery for this wonderful experience. The best Nutella cappuccino and Nutella hamantaschen in Mamaroneck! When in and asked for the cappuccino, which was not on the menu, but the owner was gracious enough to make it for us. So creamy and delicious, and not overwhelmingly sweet. Went with the hamantaschen, which also had just the right amount of Nutella not to be overpowering. Best Italian pastries in a long time! Introduced by a friend who was born in Italy and lives in New Rochelle for decades!! I tasted 4 of the 20 different mini pastries, my first being the most unusual one which ended up being an upside down Napoleon ! If it wasn't for the Napoleon (one of my least favorite Italian pastries being so outstanding), I would have never tasted @ eaten 3 more. The canolis were delicious as they use fresh tasty ricotta. I have been going to this bakery for over 30 years. The pastries have been great! Recently , I was excited to go and try out the cupcakes for a baby shower. I purchased 4 flavors to try out at 2.75 per cupcake and that is what I paid. I returned to place my order and was told that the price would be 3.50 per cupcake. I was told that I was quoted and charged an incorrect price, and that was that. Needless to say, I did not place the order. Three stars because the service was excellent l, but 99% of what I ordered was stale. We got a selection of just about everything the only things that were fresh was the chocolate coated cheesecake and some of the little cookies were good. The carrot cake and white cake with chocolate icing were multiple days old. The corn muffin was as hard as a rock and inedible . The donut tasted like it was fried in old oil. All of the cupcakes were multiple days old. I do not understand how they stay in business, they need to cut down on selection and inventory and make sure everything is made fresh each day. read more

We were passing by this cute Mamaroneck town and decided to get some Italian bake goods. There was line and there were few occupied tables. There was a long display counter with pasties like others Italian bakeries. Everything looked really good and staffs were friendly. We ordered 2 pounds of cookies and sfogliatelle. They were not super sweet, but some of the cookies were a little dry. The cookies went well with tea or coffee. They had an excellent sfogliatelle and we enjoyed it. They were crunchy puff pastry and creamy soft inside. We loved that the added dried green and red fruits, which looked like a Christmas sfogliatelle. We believed that they were colored zest citrus fruit. We recommend to get sfogliatelle. It is a very relaxing bakery. We saw many couples seating there enjoying their pasties and drinks. read more

Today was my first time coming to Boiano Bakery. I can't say too much about it, simply because I didn't spend too much time inside. The staff behind the counter seemed nice and friendly and were very accommodating. They greeted us instantly as we walked in and got us everything we needed quickly. the cheesecake is a must try. the cream from this place is also top notch. I'm personally addicted to their mini fruit tarts, particularly the kiwi and strawberry flavored ones which have a lighter custard: those are truly orgasmic. It's a hidden gem in a small town, that rivals many of the (famous/historical) traditional italian cafes and bakeries we've tried in the city, except the cost. I say this only after being spoiled by their goods, and then head back into the city finding my usual favorite places losing their luster. If you love tarts, canolis, and especially cheesecake, you have to give it a try. I've given those cakes and tarts as gifts to many friends over the months since I've discovered this place, and they have become quite the favorites It's not just my opinion: it's our consensus this cake is among the best anywhere in or around NYC. read more

Thank goodness I no longer have to go Arthur Ave to pick up good biscotti and cookies. We also sat and had cappuccino and French Napoleons. They were excellent. Going back to pick up goodies for our neighbors and, of course, for ourselves. Their deli next door made outrageous sandwiches. Italian is what they do best! Biscotti worth bringing to family events...cannolli, fig bars, Pigmoli cookies, several different varieties of biscotti, and oatmeal cookies. I enjoy their chocolate cake that has marzipan inside it I don't know the name of it. They also are one of the few places who sell espresso in small little cups like to do it Italy as well as chamomile tea. Not everything I have had there has been Delectable, once I got a doughnut.
