Oh...what a gem of a place! I happened to be in the neighborhood and...being a lover of desserts, decided to pop-in. This is a very small place with no seating; it appears it is solely intended for folks to pop-in and purchase desserts to enjoy at home, or bring to a party/for a host/hostess gift. Also, the offerings here (from my quick perusal) appeared to be more along the lines of 'cakes' or multi-serving items, vs individual treats. That said, they did have individual ramekins of Pot de Creme. Their ramekins are ceramic, and so a small 'deposit' of ...I think it was $2?...is added onto the cost, the idea being that you can return the ramekin to them and get the deposit back. I really appreciated this touch, as it not only makes the Pot de Creme more elegant, but it means they are not using wasteful plastic in which to offer their Pot de Creme. Needless to say, their Pot de Creme was sublime! It was very interesting, and heart-warming, to read the history of this place (and that of Seth's father) from newspaper clippings on the wall. From my very brief time in the shop, I immediately 'loved' Seth, who was there at the time. You can tell he is a genuinely warm person...the real deal. Seth Greenberg's Just Desserts was awarded the distinction of best crumb cake in Westchester for 2020. Being someone who enjoys a good bake, I wanted to check this place out myself. Since I was off from work this week but not traveling, I wanted to take advantage of my time by hitting up some local spots I had sitting in my bookmarks. Hence, I made Seth's a priority on my list. Located on one of the main commercial strips in Larchmont village, Seth's is not a large space but the white color scheme cast against the neatly packaged baked goods make the bakery seem nice and open. When I arrived they had most of their offerings on display: brownies, two loaf varieties (the aforementioned crumb cake and sticky bun), as well as some cookies. I picked up a few items, notably three of their brownie varieties and the sticky bun loaf. The brownies were great - he had four flavors, and since I could get 3 for $18, I got the fudge, toasted almond, and "hot chocolate" which had red pepper flakes. I really liked the consistency of the brownies - they were fudgey while also maintaining their consistency while eating. I thought the sticky bun loaf was great - think of it as thee buns baked together and topped with nuts and all that syrup goodness. I also tried the famous crumb cake which I was surprised to see was not like a traditional crumb. The cake portion was more like a cinnamon roll (in that it broke away) and the crumb top was not overly sweet. It was familiar yet unique - I thought it was a great alternative to the monotony of traditional crumb cake. Seth is super friendly and welcoming, and overall I had a great experience trying out his baked goods. I look forward to my next visit! read more

My goodness... arrived just as the crumb cake was coming out of the oven. Warm, gooey, a trio of sticky buns really, covered in brown sugar-cinnamon streusel, wrapped in layers, like a decadent cinnamon bun. The chocolate-chip cookies are so light and crispy, taste like no chocolate-chip cookie I've had before. 5 stars!!!! read more

Truly a first class bakery. I use Bradley's Larchmont bakery because it is easier to get a diverse grouping of foods including baked goods. However there is no bakery that tops Seth for cakes to order. read more

I want to say that I have lived in Westchester NY and this is the first bakery I have gone to thst actually smells like something is being Baked Fresh. The smell of apples made me smile but the kindness of Seth was truly the best! I wanted To have a birthday cake made for MY Birthday and he took the time to explain what he would do. AND he even gave me and my mom a sweet treat to eat. It melted in my mouth. The best part when I picked up my cake. It was beautiful and tasted like heaven!! AND he gave another sweet treat!! I was in a bind to get a cake on the day of and I called and ordered a crown cake. They told me it would be ready in an hour and when I came to pick up it was ready along with a sample provided by Seth himself who gave a little history about his family and their business. He was very nice and the cake was legit incredible. Really nice upscale dessert shop, I will be coming back. read more

The coffee cake blew my mind. You can taste the butter in every bite. I am ashamed to say I ate the entire loaf myself (and had to go back for more!) I had the opportunity to meet Seth, who told me of the farm where he buys all of his ingredients. You can taste the quality, care and craftsmanship that goes into each of his delicious creations. Today was my first time trying something just soooo delicious! I went to get brownies for my husband and when I was getting ready to leave I saw sticky bun loaves coming fresh out of the oven. I couldn't wait to get home to try it and it was amazing! I brought half to my mother in law and she was in heaven. This is her review: I got a surprise treat of the sticky bun loaf today and have to say without hesitation, Best I've ever had! It was still warm and fresh with a perfect toasty texture to it. It has a natural homemade taste that is not found anywhere else I've tried. Ordered a blueberry crumble the week before Thanksgiving. The whole experience was super easy - from placing the order to picking up. Everyone in the bakery was wearing masks. I didn't have a chance to take a pic of the crumble before we devoured it. Crust was delicious and perfect - flaky and buttery. This pie was not big on the crumble but there was just enough - appreciated that it wasn't super sweet. Tons of blueberries. I will be ordering from Seth again soon! read more

I have to say, this was probably the best blueberry pie I have ever eaten, and I've eaten a lot of pies! The filling in most blueberry pies is mushy or gelatinous, but Seth's blueberries taste fresh and crunchy. Amazing! I don't know how he does it. read more

We drove up from Philadelphia to pick up auction furniture in Larchmont. Ate lunch near this bakery, at a beautiful Mediterranean restaurant. After the delicious Turkish, we decided to get the coffee cakes and just bring them back home because we were so full. Absolutely amazing cakes. The lemon burst was phenomenal, not overly sweet, and instead extremely flavorful. The coffee sponge cake was also perfect-- you can really tell it's made with quality ingredients. Pot de creme was wonderfully decadent-- basically, you can't go wrong with any of Seth Greenberg's desserts. He and his staff are also extremely helpful over phone and great about arranging contact less delivery. Can't wait to place another order soon!!! read more
