But they do have collaborations with a nearby restaurant for food We sat at the bar and had some really good conversations with others. And also the bartenders. And the food can be ordered through them We ordered some pretzels and the spinach and artichoke dip. Food came within 10 minutes and is fresh and delicious. Love the wonderful variety of drinks available- I had a lot of drinks. Toasted marshmallow fountain water, ube water, grapefruit and pistachio seltzer. This is pretty amazing. I got to try Boiler Brewing Company, a brewery I had down on my list that is located in Lincoln, Nebraska. The beer that Steve and I got to try was the Mosaic THAT! (Again?)... an intriguing name to be sure and perhaps an inside joke to the brewery staff and maybe regular customers. This beer was a New England/ Hazy IPA type that we both liked fairly well. Flavor features to look for while enjoying this refreshing beverage is hoppy, tropical, citrusy and piney. Lots of characteristics that typically go with an IPA but that's OK because this one was still an enjoyable one and not so boring. There are parking lots nearby and street parking. The location is in the basement of the building and had an awesomely large wooden door! The sheer amount of available choices of sours, ciders, hard seltzers made me so ridiculously happy. Most come in a variety of sizes meaning you can create your own flight should you choose to! Pretty fun location with lots of seating, would be good for groups! They don't make their own food, but you can order and it's delivered to the brewery! I had the boiler burger and the frings and I enjoyed the seasoning on the frings. I thought the burger was on the dryer side so it was just ok for me. One of the most creative places with beer. They are wizards with unique flavor combinations. A large variety of styles, not ipa heavy like many places are these days. In fact, they sometimes don't even have any ipas on ta. They usually have a ton of creative sour beers, some classic styles at times, and always a lot of creative spins on beer. Friendly people, great service, and a cool atmosphere. The downtown location is in a basement of an old building and has a very cool vibe. The south location is more roomy and light, in a more modern development. Both great stops! Drinks are okay, overpriced beers for a local brewery in their own brewery. Their beer selection is MEh. My husband use to go often for mild obsession. We came here about a dozen of times and plenty of chances to improve their situation, but it's the same everytime. So my final review on this place is over 2 years of experiences. There's a bartender name Hans, very aloof and overall not a good bartender, did not allow samples which is unheard of in a brewery and was not conversational with small talks, if you're a bartender you should like people, not Hans! Terrible service for OK beer! Also it's super loud in here, there's is no sound absorption so bring a megaphone to order drinks, or ear plugs to ignore other conversations. Boiler is one of the few breweries in Nebraska I'll actually drive out to specifically for the beer. An hour from Omaha, this brewery consistently puts out top quality beer, mead, and cider. Hazy IPA's and bold stouts are their mainstays, and I couldn't be happier with that. I've come in quite a few times, however being located in the basement of the Grand Manse, theres not a lot of cell phone reception, and the wifi is spotty, and my checkin count reflects that. Would not recommend trying to work remotely from boiler for this reason alone. Boiler consistently trades well on the secondary beer market. That alone should be a testament to t he suds they produce, but the beer truly speaks for itself. They do not do sample pours at boiler, so if you want to try something expect to buy a 4oz pour of it rather than just ask to try it. read more

This is a pretty neat brewery in a very nice trendy area I like. They have a ridiculous number of different beers and even a couple ciders on tap. The whole place looks very nice, spacious and new. It even had a cleaning smell. It wasn't packed but there were definitely obvious regulars and other patrons enjoying themselves. There isn't table service so you just order at the bar. There are QR codes to order food and growlers. I got a strong coffee nitro stout and my friend ordered a blueberry cider. We both like them and certainly would go back again sometime! :) read more

We came into Lincoln specifically for this place. A bar tendered at Zipline in Omaha recommended it to us. This place did not disappoint the drive up from Wichita, KS. We tried several but the DDH Haze Hunter IIPA and Hazy Borders were our favorites. We also tried the peanut butter stout and we do not like stouts and it was very good. I stopped by here this past Friday with my wife for some afternoon drinks. We decided to come to Boiler Brewing Company because it was the top rated brewery in Lincoln on Yelp. After parking we had a tough time finding the brewery as google maps had it in the middle of the building but the actual entrance is on a side road and down some stairs. Since it is in the basement it's quite dark whenever you make it inside and it takes a minute for the eyes to adjust. The inside here is nice with a large bar, some tables and booths. The walls are all made of brick and they have a lot of brewing equipment behind the bar. Our bartender here was super nice and talked to us for a bit explaining that all of their beers were small craft batches and they change frequently. As I often do whenever I visit a new brewery, I tried to go with a sampler here. However at Boiler Brewing Company they don't have a flight per se but they do have all of their beers priced in 4 oz glasses. They aren't particularly cheap at $3.25 - $8 a sample but man are they worth it. I decided to start out with 3 beers and chose the That! NE IPA V2, Koo Koo For Coconut and Pink Passion Mango Tango Mimosa Gose. Then after enjoying all of them greatly I added in a Watermelon Imperial Fruit Truck as well. I started out with the That! NE IPA V2 and it turned out to be what I would call a juicy IPA. The menu states that every part of this beer comes from NE which is fun and truly makes it local. It starts out smooth before going into those citrus flavors which covers up most of the hops. Up second for me was Koo Koo For Coconut - Which was a super coconut forward dark beer but in a good way. You get the coconut almost from the start to the finish where some of the dark malty flavors add some body to it. It's described as like drinking a candy bar on the menu and my wife and I totally got that. Out of the original three, the last beer I tried was the Pink Passion Mango Tango Mimosa Gose. This beer is tart from the start with that guava, mango and passion fruit flavor coming through. You can see why they put mimosa in the name as it has that bubbly quality to it on the finish. This really did taste more like a mimosa than a beer to me and I will admit that I really loved it, especially that sharpness from the fruits. Once my palate adjusted, I also was able to get some of those salty gose qualities on the finish. After those three were finished I was pleased enough with the rest that I also ordered a Watermelon Imperial Fruit Truck. The first thing to notice with this beer is the smell which immediately reminded me of a watermelon jolly rancher. While giving that same type of flavor, it wasn't nearly as sweet and had a bit of saltiness on the finish. Much like with the first gose I had here, the more I drank of it the more noticeable the salt on the finish was. Out of the bunch the Pink Passion Mango Tango Mimosa Gose was easily my favorite although all were very tasty. The bottom line for me is that I would come back here again and again in the future. Their Pink Passion Mango Tango Mimosa Gose is the best beer that I have had in a long time and I love the fact that they make good usual beers, like the IPA and Stout, as well as more unusual stuff like both of the gose's. read more

If you're on a roadtrip crossing the country, make sure to stop at this spot for a beer in Lincoln! This place is so delicious that the first time we picked up a few cans crossing the country and shared with friends, our friend in Portland, OR later tried searching for similar flavors locally (Boiler doesn't ship!) and unsuccessfully. This seems to be the stop for other roadtrippers passing through since we sat (distantly) next to a guy crossing from OR to PA who drove through 3 years ago and remembered having a great burger. Sadly the food providers have changed since their last trip 3 years ago, but it seems the brews still taste deliciously satisfying. read more

The beer is great and I can't say it isn't . What is not great is their payment system. I picked up a 750ml bottle at the taproom and paid with my card. When I got home I noticed a 20 percent tip. I called and they explained that was the automatic default. I said 20% percent for handing me a bottle for takeout is nuts. I told him to remove the tip. Which he did reluctantly. Was quite rude . This was at the south taproom. Their system should default to no tip and the customer should make the decision to tip or not. read more

Came here on a Saturday night for some drinks and to watch a game. Awesome, unique drink choices with a few good options from another nearby restaurant. I appreciate the fact that you can buy beers in 4oz servings - it lets you try more varieties and makes it easier to try something you otherwise wouldn't get if you had to order a full pint (such as one of the 18% ABV beers) Everything was great and the prices are reasonable. I'll start by saying the drinks and the ambiance were good. I'll also note that even though our bartender was disrespectful, the other ones seemed friendly. Our bartender was rude and sarcastic. Wore his hood on his head which didn't bother me, but might help to recognize him. While my party was in a conversation about what drinks to get (we were ordering a flight), he quietly asked for our ids. No one heard him. He said "You young folk" and pointed at the youngest looking people in our party, "I know you heard me". Confused, they responded "No, what did you ask?" Felt hostile and insulting to point his finger at people and not one of us heard him the first time. He could have spoken louder or just politely asked again. We love this place, specially after having a nice dinner, good place to relax and chat. They have a nice selection of beers served in a variety of sizes... they don't do tastings but if you purchase a 4oz serving and are not satisfied, they will pour you a different beer. The kitchen closes at 10 so this is not a good place to satisfy your hunger late at night, but they sell bags of chips and pretzels if you must snack with your beer. read more
