I ventured over and found myself in the cutest space! Sari not only does ciders, but they do cocktails and mocktails as well! They even had a cider margarita that sounded sooo good! Visiting from out of state and I had to visit a Cider bar and this was one of the few places in the area that I wanted to check out. This place has an abundance of parking. The atmosphere here is really warm and ambient. They have so many ciders here made right here! They even have a coffee infused Cider but the one that's my personal favorite is their spiced Cider. They have a Foosball table and even live events apparently. Staff here is friendly. The furniture and setting here makes it feel like you're at a really exclusive lounge. I loved Saro. Service was top notch, and I LOVE the actual flight/travel theme when you order a cider flight (see picture). How has no one thought of this before?? I'm not an intense fan of ciders when they are too sweet, but Saro offers great options for everyone. I tried the Manchester dry, pearsecco, Zamora, and something else. The Zamora is by far my favorite, it's a blend of one of their ciders with Jalepeño. When you order a flight, they also offer $1 off your next drink. My first visit to Nebraska was a win! We visited several establishments, but this spot was one of my favorites. Honestly, I'd never tried ciders before I guess I went out craving a beer so never thought to add ciders to my list of things to try. How wrong I was. Upon entering Saro Cider, I knew it would be great. First, the interior is spotless with decorations with clean lines and an airy feel. It was a place I instantly felt at home. There was mellow jazz playing on the speakers and the ambiance was calm and relaxing. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't quiet. The place was alive with people chatting. I perused the offerings and had my mind set on a flight. My friend showed me a flyer stating that if you were a mom, all you had to do was show a photo of the "Apple of Your Eye" and you got a free cider. That sealed the deal; I went with a class of cider. I had the Ardennes. Here is the description from their website: "Ardennes 5.0% abv. Inspired by the Wit style of Belgian beverage, this offers the subtle complexities of coriander, lemon, ginger..." Wow, was it ever good. It was light and palate pleasing. I am SOLD on ciders and I think I need to be on the hunt for one as good as this. I sampled a few others from my friend's flight and loved the Zamora. It had some zip with just a hint of the jalapenos coming through. The only sad part? They closed at 5 p.m. on a Sunday. I'm sure we could have hung out there a couple of hours. I think this place is great and I think they should expand to my area. Come to Phoenix Saro Cider! read more

We were going to antique stores around Lincoln and, lucky for us, there was no parking on O Street! We had to park next to Saro Cider and walk back a block. When we were done we decided to take a break with some cider. The tasting room is clean and bright with comfortable furniture. Our bartender, Maggie, is knowledgeable about the ciders and enthusiastic about Lincoln. We were the only patrons at first and got many great tips about restaurants and activities in the area. We each tried and shared a flight, so we tried almost every flavour. The only recommendation I would make is to sell mix/match six packs. read more

You have to check this place out. Beautiful interior and very comfortable. Ciders are amazing! Nothing too sweet or heavy. Service was wonderful with some great conversation. One thing we might suggest is to have a TV on with sports if any kind going. It's just nice for the comfort of the atmosphere. All and all.. loved it and will make it one of our regular stops. Being from Michigan I was craving some hard cider and Saro Cider did not disappoint!! Walking in I was stunned by the elegant, calming, yet, fun atmosphere. Being a Sunday afternoon we had our pick of seats. The owner who took our order could not have been nicer. We did a flight, which is only $10, to try some of the ciders and they were all delicious. We each got a glass and ordered the crackers with hummus which was SO GOOD! It's by far the best bar I've been to Lincoln and between the incredible service and beautiful atmosphere we will definitely be back. Saro is sexy and bright. The service is prompt and straight forward. The stools are insanely heavy but incredibly comfortable...so worth the struggle! Tastefully decorated with a very "now" look. It's a bit loud but if you don't mind that, Saro is a great place to relax with a friend or group. The small plates are lovely and all items are fairly priced. I enjoy the cherry and jalapeño ciders the most. Curiously, people watching here is top notch...an eclectic crowd. read more

After a Husker win, we came to try out the new cider spot in town. I loved the interior- clean, fresh, & modern. There were a lot of people around the bar and we didn't really know where to order at. We found a table next to the bar and grabbed a menu from the bar so we could know further what our options were. The ciders were all true to description. This spot is a welcome change to all of the breweries going in around town because it's an original idea and able to offer lots of flavors and options. I particularly enjoyed the jalapeño cider- perfect blend of sweet and heat. This was a cool place to hang out and will def go again. The only thing I hope they will improve is where you can order from and maybe bring on some servers to help with the cider flow. read more

This happened multiple weeks ago but there is a female bartender here (short and had long, dark hair) who is extremely rude. We came in on a Saturday night to meet friends (who had gotten there before us and said they wanted to leave already due to her service) and this bartender basically told my boyfriend he couldn't order a bloody mary because she was "setting up for a drag show and everyone just keeps ordering super elaborate drinks". He kindly told her she could make him a Moscow mule if that was easier, but for some reason she continued to angrily make him a Bloody Mary. She was extremely rude. You are a bartender and it is LITERALLLLLYY your job to cater to people and make drinks. Also keep in mind it was NOT BUSY in this place and we were the only people ordering drinks at the bar at the time. She whined about how busy she had been at the job and was over all extremely negative and unhappy. We all ordered one drink and left as quick as we could. Management, this woman clearly needs to brush up on proper customer service or consider a different place to work. We would return if this was taken care of/if we could of interacted with someone else. read more
