pickle brined chicken sandwich, salt and pepper fries & pickle time beer

Zipline Tap & Grill -Pickle Brined Chicken Sandwich ( Comeback Sauce, Apple Slaw, Nashville Hot, BB pickle, Lettuce ) -Salt & Pepper Fries -Pickle Time Beer I have been wanting to try more obscure restaurants lately & I would recommend this one! My waiter was super sweet and gave me an excellent recommendation! My sandwich was so good and pretty different from most basic chicken sandwiches. My fries were good, and my pickle beer was unique and different (in a good way). I also thought it was nice (cause I am picky on beer) that they let you sample them to ensure you liked the one you picked! The inside is nice and they mentioned live music every other Thursday and Saturday which I thought could be fun. I would totally recommend if you wanna try something new!

Perfect location in Fallbrook, very trendy inside with nice outside patio seating fire pit etc, they also have a separate bar lounge area. Service was very good super friendly and answered all of our questions about the food and drink menu. Great selection of craft beer on tap, limited simple food menu. Unfortunately I feel the food is a big let down, we ordered the blackened shrimp and Cajun chicken Rigatoni Pasta, absolutely no flavor what so ever I mean not even salt and pepper to season the chicken, the shrimp was packet frozen not fresh with a cheap overly sweet ginger sauce, plus side the French fries and draft beer was very good, it's also very pricey for packet chain restaurant style food! Such a shame really enjoyed everything else about the dining experience.

Lincoln's beautiful Fallbrook community is becoming a destination for Lincoln diners. Joining the popular classic Toast is a new dining establishment, Zipline Tap & Grill, located in the former Schilling Bridge Tap & Cork space, although beautifully redesigned and expanded with the addition of a lounge known as Fiddlesticks. Zipline, known for its beer brewing prowess, is making a claim to be considered among Lincoln's best restaurants with a menu crafted by Executive Chef, Jared Clarke. Clarke's other establishments in Omaha, Railcar Modern American Kitchen and Timber Wood Fired Grill, are proof of his capabilities to establish serious contenders. And Zipline Tap & Grill has the makings of another winner. I've enjoyed the food, the drinks, and the service and have been impressed by all of them. Having opened for business only two weeks ago they are already operating as a seasoned staff, both front and back of house. Their food is a comfortable and creative blend of classic grill favorites with some real culinary punch. Flavors are well crafted, interesting, and plating and presentation are visually engaging. And their cocktails, wine, and beer are well matched to the quality of their food. I can confidently recommend Zipline Tap& Grill. Expect this new offering from the folks at Zipline and Executive Chef Jared Clarke to become a Lincoln go-to for you. It's quickly become that for me.

The inside is very clean and simple - a nice, bright place to have a few drinks and chat with friends. The patio is great too when it's nice outside. All their brews are fabulous in my experience. My favorites are Great Plains Lager and the Cairns Pilsner (I am a fan of lighter beers if you couldn't tell). They have lots of different beer styles from Kölsches to Dunkels, and IPAs to Ales. So you'll definitely find something you like. They sell Kringles flavored pretzels for snacking on, or at least they did when I went last. Love those! Aside from that, they have food trucks that post up there as well, so definitely check their schedule to see who will be there when you want to go. For a local brewery, they have a pretty solid lineup of different brews, so I'd definitely check them out if you're in the Millard area!

As for the beer, I had one of their Scary Numbers, which was a fairly flat stout, with little to revere. It was drinkable. My brother-in-law opted for the sampler with a mix of seasonal & "avant-garde" flavors. He drank it, and I sampled, but all five were very missable. This is a case where the food carried the beer, instead of the other way around. The food was good, but not great. I did enjoy my Jambalaya, and if we return, would stick to that. I would pass on their crafted beer, opting for another offering, which is kind of sad.

All the classic dishes like the lavosh, the prime rib enchiladas, the voodoo, chicken, etc. are still on the menu. On the whole, our table enjoyed the meals we got. That said there were a couple little notes I have. I've said it before, but the way they plate salads is impractical here. They serve side salads on small glass plates. Of course I appreciate the effort to make it a nice sized salad and fill up the plate, but with no overhang and no depth because it's not a bowl, it makes it really difficult to stir around without making a big mess. They don't serve the salads tossed, so this continues to be an issue for me as a diner. The other thing I noticed is that the building itself definitely needs a little TLC. Everything just looks a bit worn... in particular the walls, the baseboards, places where there's wear and tear, and it just doesn't look as crisp or as modern or updated as it could.

I am not too much of a fan of scanning menus onto my phone, but I am getting better at it and more used to it now. The lady employee there was very sweet and attentive. She understood how I wanted to just look at the menu to see if I was going to even indulge here. So when I looked at the menu, fish and chips, aka fries, really stuck out to me. She said herself that she ate some earlier today and really loves them here. So I said, ok, let's do this. Let me tell you, I was not at all disappointed! Again, I asked myself, why didn't I come here sooner? The 3 fish cuts were perfect size and perfectly cooked. I like the crinkle fries, they gave plenty.
