We went back two days in a row because of how good the food was. The staff is amazing. The service was a 10/10. Looking out over the golf course was amazing. We tried lot but I would definitely recommend starting with the bread.

We went on New Years. Clearly they were slammed and had key employees not show up according to the manager who apologized profusely. We will give it another shot because of that. We were celebrating our anniversary so it was a special night for us. Our waitress was super but stretched thin so she wasn't as attentive as she probably was on another night. This is a very upscale place. Decor and service reflect that. Good old fashioned steakhouse vibe. Oysters Rockafeller were perfect. Bread was fresh and absolutely delicious. He had American Wagyu Ribeye. I had Steak Oscar. Both were cooked appropriately. Maybe slightly under seasoned as we both added salt which is not typical for us. The Old Fashioned was really good and they had a wide selection of wine/beer and a handful of specialty cocktails. Our 2nd round of drinks was comped due to slow service at the bar and dessert was on the house for our anniversary which we really appreciated. We will definitely go back and try other things on the menu. Our steaks were good but I wouldn't say they were worth the price. $110 for his and $80ish for my Oscar. It was a filet with truffled hollandaise sauce and a scant amount of King Crab. They no longer serve King Crab due to the cost. Strange. If we would pay $110 for a steak why wouldn't we pay for King Crab due but that was a minor detail. I wouldn't say have preferred more crab...give me snow crab. The dessert was delightful. Baked Alaska served table side with plenty of rum. Thank you for making us feel valued and special!

It's hard to write this review without b creating a novel. So I will keep this short: -Facility: gorgeous entry into the raw bar, beautiful! The trip up the stairs was work but nicely constructed; the atmosphere is very dark - too dark for good food pictures & hard to read the menu; everything makes you feel comfortable and relaxed -Service: simply outstanding; everyone professional, attentive and communicated effectively -Dinner Bread: absolutely delicious, soft, buttery; melts in your mouth!! -Caesar salad: very fresh, light on the Caesar dressing taste; anchovies were fresh and outstanding with almost no fishy or salty taste -Onion Rings: uniquely large pieces of onion; mild onion taste; breading thin and tasty but constantly fell off the onion - very annoying -Mac & Cheese: outstandingly creamy and cheesy; love the higher end cheese flavors; noodles cooked nicely; very rich dish -Scallops: tender, moist, perfectly cooked - delicious -Meatball appetizer: delicious beef flavor; very tender & moist; marinara has a rich/thick tomato sauce; grilled bread soft with a slight crunch and buttery -Key Lime Pie: large piece with beautiful presentation: meringue topping fluffy & sweet; lots of creamy, tart, heavenly key lime flavor! BoilerHouse Prime isn't for everyone. It is very expensive. It is a unique dinning experience with a great atmosphere to would be enjoyed by any Boilermaker that loves upscale dinning.

We were in town for a college graduation and wanted to have a nice dinner to celebrate and unfortunately this was not the place. Here is the Good and the bad.... The Good - we were running late due to the college graduation traffic and I called the restaurant to advise we might be late to our reservation ( be advised highly recommend reservations - made ours 2 months in advance for a Saturday evening) and the host was totally understanding and accommodating. The food was very good, the bread - freshly baked, sprinkled with sea salt, fluffy and warm. The butter was whipped which is great so it's not fighting with the bread! The Cesar salad is enough to share and dressed appropriately. Be advised whole Anchovies are on top of the Cesar Salad and Anchovies are in the dressing. Ordered one of the Tomahawk specials 1.5 lb American Waygu- which is cooked to order then brought to the table for presentation and brought back to the kitchen to be sliced, this was shared steak for our table and one of my guest liked their steak a little less pink and the kitchen cooked a couple of the tomahawk slices to her request. Now for the Bad - our server Alexis she was not very good. An Old Fashioned was ordered and never served and we waited to see if it would arrive during our dinner service however no drink at all appeared thankfully we all had water so she was able to have a beverage. When mentioned to Alexis an old fashioned was ordered not only did she question us to ensure it was ordered she made it seem like the request was a figment of our imagination after this was a drink she recommended. Alexis then looked thru her note pad and did see she wrote down the order for the old fashion at this point we had already paid and Alexis says could she bring her the drink we say no so she proceeds to say well next time you are in town the drink is on her after we just got down letting her know we are from out town and her asking if we were celebrating anything and we let her know a graduation. Alexis did not even know if Coke Zero was served, her excuse was the tanks are very small. Very disappointing service. The steak knives are dull and need a to be sharpened especially since this restaurant serves steak. The butter knives cut better than the steak knives. Ordered the Whipped Potatoes and while the seasoning was good I would hardly call them whipped more like mashed and needing more butter. The lacked presentation overall. Needless to say we most likely will not return if in the area again but if I was I would rather go to Indianapolis or Chicago.

Best steakhouse in West Lafayette or Lafayette. So nice to have a high end steakhouse here. It is on the campus of Purdue at the golf complex. A beautiful building. Dinner and service were outstanding. We started with the lobster salad, shrimp cocktail and wedge salad. All were fantastic. The lobster salad was nice for something different if you didn't want shrimp cocktail. The bacon strip on the wedge is quite impressive. Then we had the salmon Wellington, roasted chicken and prime rib. All were excellent. The side of onion rings were huge. The bread service was good, pull apart Parker house rolls. It's a small dining room upstairs from the bar. There is an elevator for those with mobility issues. I highly recommend reservations.

Medium rare was closer to blue. Sent it back.

Didn't live up to the hype. needed sauces or additions. Bone in filet didn't my experience normally has a bit more fat and wasn't so bland. I would go with rib eye or strip next time or just head to Indy for St Elmo. Both pics are filet ordered medium rare. One was practically blue. Service seemed meh non attention to table crumbs, appetizer on table 3 minutes then main courses delivered. Wasn't as "prime"not an experience as we had hoped for.

Beautiful place, great ambiance, but didn't quite live up to expectations. At these prices you should be a St Elmos or Gibsons. Oysters-good $78 10oz Barrel cut fillet- ok, dry bland, ordered med rare got medium, just not tasty (Even with $6 thimble of peppercorn sauce.) $22 twice baked potato-good but cmon!!! $22??? $16 wedge salad- good w huge slab of bacon on top. Best part of the meal. 2 $17 glasses of cote du rhone W tax & tip,$200 dinner for 1? Little pricey for W Laf. Waitress was friendly, but overall service was quite slow, But maybe that is by design. Don't get me wrong, I love fine dining and have no problem paying for impeccable service and quality but this wasn't worth $200. Good place for a very special occasions maybe once every couple years and don't mind blowing the wad. I would come back sooner if prices were 25% lower and could justify the expense for this quality.

The hostess advised there was a table available in the bar area or a large 6 top table behind the hostess stand. We selected the 6 top, while not in the main dining area it was still a good table and our server Karis was great. Complimentary Bread is served. The bread was served warm and soft. Ordered the Scallops and asked for them to be prepared in a lemon butter sauce which the kitchen was able to do a lemon beurre blanc sauce. Served with a side and soup or salad or a 2nd side if no soup or salad is selected. Requested some tartar sauce however it had a very overpowering Dill flavor. French Onion soup had the right amount of bread and more broth than cheese and onion. Had the Ribeye Cap special which needed a touch of salt and it was cooked a little more than the medium rare plus ordered. Served with a side of Burgundy Mushrooms heavy on the Burgundy flavor and Shoestring Onion Rings however not really on the true sense of Shoestring Onion ring size of things unless your into fat shoelaces but they did taste good. Overall great service and good food

First off, I have always picked where I want to sit, the part about "server is busy, and that table is served by a specific server" is nonsensical, they should really change or add a server to the seating area that customers prefer (near window, more lighting etc) rather than having the customer sit somewhere else for their servers convenience. Secondly, I picked up the glass for water and it smelled like an egg, I called out the server (who already seemed annoyed to change of seats) and told her about the glass and the response I got was "we wash our glasses in vinegar so it must be that", well first off, I know the difference between vinegar and egg smell, secondly, it was disgusting and I cannot drink water in it, instead of arguing, she really should have just changed the glass, it's not that hard.

The food was also very good, and we appreciated the quality of the dishes.
