Me and my husband discovered this place and wanted to give it a try. We never have had hot pot before so it was a new experience.. the price point was kind of high but it was all you can eat. We didn't know really what to expect. Maybe hot pot just isn't our thing. Not saying that the food was bad. It was just nothing special for us. The service was good and they explained everything to us. Maybe we need to give it one more chance.

On the pricier end, but hey, Ontario CA is a food desert. For better value. Happy Ayce Hot Pot on Valley Blvd and Rosemead Blvd., would probably provide better value with its hot bar and hot pot selection. Quite Frankly it's unbeatable if you do a dollar to food quality to variety ratio. So I went with a Tom Yum base. Figured all the blue crabs and shrimp and shrooms would make a deep Umami base for the soup. Correcto! Had a blast sipping the soup towards the end. They had great kimchi here, the hot pot content bar was very atypical of a Malatang place. Cuts of beef were ok, lamb ok. I mean, if you weren't lazy you could pull off the same thing at home, nothing fascinating. 'specially after patronizing Temple City's Migaya Wagyu Shabu Shabu House.....two totally different worlds you can actually taste. The Indonesian Hospitality here was excellent. Servers take extra effort to treat you like a house guest. And guess the highlight is the ice cream cup at the end. Overall, id say this place is better priced at 10% off.

This is noe my top go to shabu hot pot spot. This place has the cleanest and most fresh ingredients. . Crawfish was large and didnt taste frozen like other hot pot spots.. meat was fresh of course. Their sauce selection isnt the largest but the ones they do have have sooooo much flavor and depth. But not overly salty. Impressed to say the least. Every ingredient was fresh.. service is attentive. And so much variety in proteins at the bar. Ambiance is beautiful. Must try. Even the tripe was fhe best quality ive eaten. So happy my friend put me on.

Used to come here a lot, haven't been back since the early years of the pandemic. We came on a Friday with a table of 9 people. They were able to seat us right away. The server was attentive. All the meat were fresh! The scallops & octopus tasted a bit fishy, crawfish was jumbo size but not much flavor. The fish & all the veggies were delicious. Loaded up on my fiber!. Restaurant & bathroom were clean. The restaurant wasn't too busy or loud for a Fri night which made dinner more enjoyable! All in all, always a good go to spot if you want a local AYCE hotpot spot in the IE.

It's been a while since I've been here. My boyfriend and I were craving hotpot. We looked near and far and somehow we were both drawn to go here. And I'm glad we did. We went around lunchtime, so it wasn't too busy. We were seated right away. The food at the bar was fresh. The paper they give you to self order your appetizers, drinks, meats, and dessert (ice cream) is really convenient. They give a good amount of meat portions per person. And you have up to 3 rounds to order meat. The food from the bar is unlimited. They have everything from sauces, to more appetizers or small foods, a variety of vegetables, rice, noodles, seafood, and fruits. Service was great. Our server checked up on us from time to time for drink refills, to clean up our table, and to get our paper for more food orders. Such a chill ambiance here. It's a large restaurant, so even if it gets loud, you're not talking over each other during dinner. It's very spacious, so when you're up to get your food you're not bumping into people. This was my boyfriend's first time here and he really enjoyed himself. I'm glad I took him here. This is definitely a place worth checking out if you're craving hotpot.

This is a nice restaurant with lots of food options. But it's on the pricier side (adult pricing starts at 11 years old) and only allows for meat to be ordered in only 3 rounds, which spoils the fun of AYCE and spontaneity. Food: The broths are tasty and all unique. The spicier ones (Shichuan and Soondubu) are not that spicy, but still hot and savory. Their Miso and Tonkotsu broths are safe and child friendly. Their meats were good quality and cooked quickly in the broth. The only negative is that their servings are kind of small and you only have 3 rounds to order meats. We ordered a lot of meat in round 1-2, so we were done before the third round. The bar of seafood and vegetables is nice and spacious. They offer gloves, too. Their sauce station is large and offers lots of ingredients to mix and try. The price of the meal includes an ice cream cup for each person at the end of your meal. Service: The staff is friendly and patient. They manage many tables, so it can take a while before they return to your table. Recommend ordering as many meat plates as possible in round 1 (3 plates per person). Then you might not need them to return for round 2-3. Ambiance: The restaurant is large and offers tables of various sizes for groups. They also have private rooms. Their cooking burners are easy to use and seafood/vegetables bar was replaced and cleaned off regularly. It's also located near Ontario Mills mall and walkable. This is a good restaurant, but the price is a little high for children that must pay for adult prices. We have a 12 year old that does not eat much, but had to pay full adult price. The ice cream is a nice touch, but the complications of ordering meat in only 3 rounds can be stressful for some. We probably wont return since we prefer Shabuya in Alhambra.

The service here is great and this is one of the biggest hot pot. All you can eat places that is in the entire LA area. There's plenty of choices to choose from in terms of meats, vegetables, and seafood. This is probably the best one in the Ontario area. I'll be back.

My favorite hot pot place and one of my favorite restaurants in general. I love that they have many options and that it's self serve. It's a really big restaurant with plenty of seating. Although i will say if you go on a busy day it may be slower service because they be understaffed at times. Overall i enjoy the quality of the meat and seafood here and my go to soup base is the spicy miso. It can be costly at almost 40 per person for dinner but it's worth if you really like hot pot.

It was a cool experience, they have so many options of seafood and noodles and different types of meat for you to order to add to your hot pot.. we order different types of broth. They were not as flavorful as I would've liked. They were kind of bland, which I wish was a different outcome. Because of course everything you're soaking in it picks up that flavor and it was just very bland. But the quality of meat and the quality of the food was pretty good. It was clean they kept refilling everything. The service was a little slow. But they were remembering things that we ordered but felt like in 25 minute increments. And they had so many vegetables. Definitely enjoyed the buffet style option of getting everything you want for your hot pot. The only thing I would change is just making the broth more flavorful.

We came in with a party of 10. We called in to be sure we could get a table. This was a dining adventure for all!! It is all you can eat hot pot. Everyone in our party got their own hot pot. You get to choose your broth. Each can get three different meats and then....the great "salad" bar with all kinds of things to cook in your broth. There was so much to choose from and it was all delicious with options for all!! The servers quickly removed the empty plates and also came around to see if we needed any more meats. Dinners come with appetizer and ice cream too!!! FYI-gratuity added to our large group. Will definitely come again when in the area.

I went for the lunch buffet. They sat me right away which was nice. The interior design was pretty, upscale ish. They do have nice quality of meat, and the server was full of hospitality, I had my soup base refilled 3 times during my visit, and they kept asking if I need more meats and see if I like everything so far. Only little issue I can think of was the sesame sauce / peanut sauce was too liquidly, I wish it was more dense. Overall a nice dining experience.

I really really love this place,, I always leave stuffed. I go in and the meat is always fresh,, the veg is always places nicely and everything is very clean. The staff are very welcoming and nice, my table never has dishes on it for long and the dishes are always clean.

Same sauce that I use this time. This is scallops. The scallops come out perfect if you know how to cook your seafood correctly.

We actually discovered this place during COVID when they had everything set up outside, and let me tell you... they accommodated their customers so well. It was organized, safe, and still such a great experience. We have been coming back ever since. If you're wondering what keeps me coming back... First, the service is incredible. There is an older gentleman with salt and pepper hair who is always so professional and kind. He carries himself with such calm confidence and respect. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming, but he truly stands out every single time. Second, the OPTIONS. The spread here is amazing. From sauces to fresh vegetables, noodles, seafood, fruit, and dessert, there is something for everyone. And can we talk about the watermelon? For some reason, it is always perfectly sweet. Every single time. I am a huge shrimp lover, so being able to make my own shrimp in the hot pot is a dream. Fresh, flavorful, and cooked exactly how I like it. It is such a fun experience. Pro tip: Here is the sauce combo I put together and it is chef's kiss. In a bowl add jalapeños, cucumbers, hot chili, chili oil, sesame oil, and ponzu sauce. Then top it with fresh cilantro. It is so fresh, spicy, tangy, and delicious. You will thank me later. If you are looking for a place that is comfortable, not overwhelmingly crowded, and consistently delivers great food and service, this is the place to go. We have been loyal ever since we found it, and it never disappoints.

The value is definitely the main highlight, pricing is fair for AYCE and you get a decent variety of meats, veggies, and sides. For a casual hot pot night, it's hard to complain on cost alone. That said, there were a few things that made the experience a bit less smooth. Parking was a challenge since the plaza gets very busy, so it took a while to find a spot. Inside, the setup was also a little confusing at first the hot pot being built into the table takes some getting used to, and it made it slightly awkward to get the soup out comfortably while cooking. Food-wise, it was good, but the refill timing was inconsistent. A few items like meat and fruit ran out faster than expected, and we had to wait a while, sometimes close to 30 minutes for refills to come back out. Service was okay overall, just a bit slow during peak rush. Still, for the price point and AYCE format, it's a good deal. I'd come back, just with lower expectations on speed and pacing. 4 stars mainly for value.

Lowlights: they don't offer bbq - just hot pot. They only have 2 levels - $20 or $45. The basic meat is self-serve, but the premium meats came out all at once. There's a penalty for food waste. We got the premium option for hot pot dinner, all the meats came out at once already portioned for our group of 4. As nice as it is to not have to wait, it doesnt take into account that we would've wanted to pick and choose what to order and maybe abstained from some options to get refills of the options we did like. When the meats all come out at once, it's hard to know which is which. The only obvious distinguished proteins were the seafood, which is presented really nicely. The veggies/noodles/sauce bar weeds well stocked and had the typical toppings you want for your soup. For dinner, the restaurant seemed lean staffed, which was fine since it wasn't busy and we got seated in an obvious spot.

Personally, living in SGV, there's way more options for the value point, so that factored in as well. However, I do have to say that service was good. Lots of smiles and it was inviting. It's popular with the community it's located in. We went on a week day night. Plenty of parking in the plaza. Good amount of other customers at table and counter bar seating. We got counter seating for 3 people. No wait. For our dinner, we got the: spicy miso tonkotsu, miso, and the sukiyaki broths, which were all decently solid. A bit light, but not too salty or dehydrating at the least. We all used sauce generously with our order, so maybe we should have sipped more soup or cooked more things in it longer? But we've never had this issue with other shabu places I've been to. For meats, we got the regular sized for all and had the angus beef chuck prime, beef toro, and lamb. Decent quality meat. Slices weren't too thin or too thick. Meat didn't cook and dry up immediately like worse places I've been to. All of our food came with a veggie plate and I will admit some of the lettuce/cabbage leaves weren't the cleanest or crispest so we didn't eat as much of the veggies as we'd like... We also ordered nigiri sushi on the side, which is just okay. Usually we wouldn't get something like that unless it came with the meal like an AYCE. Decent quality salmon, lots of rice and extra arbs on top of your meal though. Overall, it's okay.

We got a rich pork broth tonkatsu soup and it was pretty tasty. However, the service folks forgot to first give us bowls, then forgot to give us sauces we ordered, and then never check up on us if we needed more soup. They did seem pretty short staffed though and when they did have time to pay attention, they seemed nice about it. The food quality was pretty decent but the portion size for the price you pay doesn't really cut it for me. I am a big hot pot fan and frequent so many in the hot pot mecha that is San Gabriel Valley that this place would not do too well with its pricing. However, being in Eastvale, I can't knock them off too much for that. The one thing that also makes me ponder is that the owner of cravings and thus this shop also partly owns 99 ranch across the walkway. So when I ordered edemame, they said they didn't have any since this morning. But isn't the market right next door and the owner owns both? Maybe I'm wrong but seemed like a golden opportunity to levy your competitive advantage of opening cravings next to 99 ranch. In either case, I will give it a 4 for now but I'm not sure I will return for now.

Great for anyone looking for a healthy meal or those with dietary restrictions. I can see a lot of room for accommodations here. Shout out to Tyler. He was not the main server but he was helpful and nice throughout the experience I had the Wagyu Brisket ($24.50/4oz) as my protein, the Paitan chicken broth, with white rice, and udon noodles. The meal comes with veggies, which includes napa, kabacho, mushrooms, carrots and bokchoy. So much wagyu brisket for 4 oz. I thought it was more, but I saw them weighing it out and slicing it freshly so I know it's on point. The marbling on the beef was incredibly sexy. Simple, healthy and delicious! I had some constructive feedback but I was able to convey it with their manager and they were open to improve so I'll let them off the hook during a soft opening phase.
