They have spacious seating and look through windows to see the cooks in the kitchen. The woman who served us was nice and attentive. There was a bit of a language barrier but she made sure to get our order right. The menu is large. Lots of options!! We ordered Pork Xiao Long Bao, House Mix Dry Noodles, Orange Chicken, Beef and Green Pepper Pan Fried Dumplings , Pork and Chili Oil Wontons, Smashed Cucumber with a side of rice. We enjoyed it all. The smashed cucumber was very flavorful. I like the twist of it being smashed. It provided a mix of texture and there was plenty to go around. The house mix dried noodles was spicy. We did order it without the peanut sauce due to an allergy but the noodles were cooked perfectly. Reminded me of a broth less ramen bowl. Lots of spices!! The pork Xia long bao was good too. I enjoyed the broth inside. Had a little tang to it. Very tasty with the vinegar and soy sauce mix we made. I was pleasantly surprised on how juicy the Beef and. Green pepper pan fried dumplings were. I would definitely get them again. The orange chicken was a hit in my opinion. It was cooked well and did not have too much breading. It had a nice crunch and the sauce was more of a glaze. It had a strong orange flavor taste to the sauce and was served with a few small slices of actual orange. What a fantastic find in Rancho Cucamonga! We're rarely in this area, but we happened to be running errands in Ontario and decided to stop by for a late lunch. The three of us arrived hungry and ready to order, so we ended up sharing quite a few dishes. We got the spicy dry mixed noodles, tomato egg noodles, xiao long bao (XLBs), steamed pork & cabbage dumplings, beef rolls, spicy chicken wontons, and salted egg yolk steamed buns. By the end of the meal, the only thing left on the table was two pieces of the beef roll and that was only because we were completely stuffed! The standout dishes for me were the tomato egg noodles and the XLBs. The noodles were comforting and flavorful, and the steamed dumplings were juicy and flavorful. I can't handle much spice, but both my husband and our friend absolutely loved the dry mixed noodles and the spicy chicken wontons. I don't want to discredit this place, but it was just an ordinary dumpling spot in the IE. It didn't blow my socks off. That said, if you're craving dumplings and want good ones, this place will definitely suffice. We tried the XLB and the black truffle XLB, which were a little underwhelming. The spicy wontons were very good though and probably our favorite thing we ordered. We also had the spinach pork and shrimp dumplings which were a little mid, but the pan-fried pork and shrimp dumplings were much better. The salted egg custard buns were actually a standout and I'd definitely order those again. The honey walnut shrimp was flavorful and the shrimp were large, but it sits on top of shrimp chips so it looks like a bigger portion than it actually is. Dumpling kind of night and it did not disappoint. I went in just wanting something quick and left low-key obsessed. The dumplings were super fresh, you could tell they weren't sitting around. The wrappers were soft but still had that slight chew, and none of them were falling apart or overly thick. The filling was the best part though. Juicy, flavorful, and actually seasoned. You know how sometimes dumplings look good but taste bland? Not these. Every bite had flavor, and I didn't even feel like I needed to drown them in sauce. We wanted dumpling and our place was closed so it forced us to look around. I'm so glad we did because we found Dimpling Artisan and overall it did not disappoint. This place is a little small inside with limited seating. If you have a party of 6 or more definitely call ahead to make sure there's seating available. The decor is definitely Asian inspired and I love that you can watch them prepare your food through the glass. We went inside to place a to go order. They gave us a menu immediately and were available to answer our questions. We spent a little over $73 and ordered Mongolian Beef, 2 orders of Pork Wontons in Chili Oil, Salt & Pepper Crispy Chicken, Pork & Cabbage Pan Fried Dumplings, and an order of Xiao Long Bao. The Mongolian beef didn't taste like Mongolian Beef but it was full of flavor. It had a sweet but savory taste and the meat was super tender. Unfortunately it did not come with rice and I didn't know. It's ok, because I don't each much of it. The pan fried dumplings had a nice crispy exterior but soft inside. The meat veggie mixture was full of flavor. The Xiao Kong Bao had a nice subtle broth inside and it was quite refreshing. I honestly didn't care for the pork wontons in chili oil. They did not lack flavor but there was a spice on it similar to tajin that clashed a bit in flavor with the chili oil. Also, I couldn't really taste the meat and just tasted chewy dumpling dough. The salt and pepper crispy chicken was full of flavor. The only downfall was the ride home made it not so crispy but that's not a flaw in the food. Loved it here! Food was delicious and so happy we decided to give it a try. I've been to a lot of dumpling places and wanted to try something new. Checked on Yelp and came across Dumpling Artisan. Saw some comments saying it was similar to Din Thai. I felt that this place was better. The smashes cucumber was massive and so delicious. Perfect amount of sauce and flavor. Also got the crab Rangoons which were perfect and loved the sauce. Had the classic pork xiao, wonton in chili sauce and the chicken steamed dumpling. Everything tasted so good and fresh. I enjoyed every part of this meal. The staff was so friendly and our order came out quickly. We also got one or their teas, mango passion fruit green tea and it was soooo good! 12/20/2025 First time at Dumpling Artisan! WONTONS IN CHILI OIL (SPICY WONTON) This was recommended by my server. I can't quite explain it, but the spicy sauce had quite an earthy flavor, this umami flavor I could not quite put down. Definitely there is Sichuan peppercorn flakes in it, but maybe it was toasted, so there was that added earthy flavor. Spice level is medium. Cilantro added on top as garnish. I prefer scallions over cilantro for spicy wontons, but still it was good. Served hot and dumplings were juicy. It is definitely different than Din Tai Fung's spicy wonton, where that had a vinegar with spicy flavor and there isn't Sichuan peppercorn flakes in that one. BEEF ROLL Pretty good, but the pancake could be crispier. They've added too much hoisin sauce inside the roll, so it was a bit salty overall. There was a good amount of beef and cilantro and it was a good size where you can pick up and eat. If only the pancakes were crispier! WAGYU BEEF ONION XIAO LONG BAO Only available on the weekends. The server convinced me to try this over the other xiao long baos, since this was only available on the weekends and it's also a popular item. At first bite, it has a strong meat flavor. A little bit of caramelized onion flavor at the end. It was pretty good. However, I still favor pork XLB. I haven't tried one at this location, but assuming most XLB's tastes similar, I prefer the pork XLB. The wonton wrap was slightly thicker than other places I've tried. But only by a little. The XLB was a good size too, not too small. CUSTOMER SERVICE Very attentive service! Two servers were checking in on me back-to-back making sure I was well taken care of! I asked questions on the menu and both were very kind and gave me the best service I've had in a long while! This was also on a Saturday right after opening time and I was the third guest there, so it wasn't too busy either. But appreciate the great service! PARKING Plenty of parking space around the area. I think the better spots aren't directly in front of the restaurant, as the parking spaces are narrow and are at an angle. Dumplings and noodle dishes appear to be their forte, as you can easily surmise by their name. But we are not dumpling sort of people. So, you might be asking, why did we come here? I think I had Dumpling Artisan bookmarked because of their meaty beef bone soup. We have always had a passion for a clear broth version found in Korean restaurants, but funny thing, we did not end up ordering that for our first visit. Please note, I said "first visit". As I said, the majority of the menu was of noodle dishes, noodle soups, and soup-filled dumplings, fare that I choose to eat with discretion for dietary reasons (heavy with carbs). The variations looked quite interesting, but I'll leave it up to other reviewers to critique them. Instead, we were seduced by the dishes that are more typical stir fry entrees and dim sum. These choices are more limited, but should not take second place to anything else on their menu. Our meal came out very quickly. Listed under "Desserts", we ordered the char siu bao (3 per order). Hardly a dessert IMHO, the steamed treat turned out to be a deliciously savory filling encased in an extraordinarily tender dough. The spice blend in the sauce for the filling was remarkable, with its own character. Not your ordinary bao! Then came the beef roll, thinly sliced beef with plum sauce and lots of fresh cilantro, all wrapped up in a beautifully crisp, super thin pancake. Superb. I ordered it, all the while knowing that Mr B thought he did not like this dish. And was he surprised after his first bite! I felt vindicated. Next came the Broccoli Shrimp. They were very generous with big, plump, perfectly cooked shrimp (10) with nice big bites of carefully cooked broccoli. The sauce was delicately seasoned, clear, thickened, and with an uncommon taste profile that won my heart. Lastly came the Kung Pao Chicken. Loads of fresh, thinly sliced chicken and lightly sauteed vegetables (carrots, cucumber), finished with lots of plump peanuts and a dark, rich, sauce. Again, a winner of a sauce. I had forgotten to mention to our server my usual fear of the red pepper pods commonly used in this dish. So when it arrived, I had reservations because there were a lot. But as many as they did use, it turned out to have no effect on me whatsoever, spicy but not angry hot . This dish was one of the best Kung Pao's I have ever tasted. I highly recommend this. I am quite impressed over their unique cooking sauces. They all stood out as exceptional, not your common variety found in so many Chinese restaurants these days. Service was excellent. The dining area was immaculate, the bathroom very clean, the overall vibe very friendly. The open kitchen design was eye catching and impressive. The lovely lady chefs performing their culinary craft behind the glass were a joy to see and their knowledge of their cuisine won our hearts. Don't ask how elated I am to bring home leftovers, of which there were many. I would guess another 1.5-2 meals for the two of us. Need I say, we shall return. Soup dumplings are way better than most of the ones in SGV. They check off everything that makes the perfect xiao long bao: skin that doesn't rip, plenty of juicy, flavorful and hot. At most places, you'll have some of these and miss the others. The chili oil wontons are some of the best I've had. The skin and filling had the perfect texture and it wasn't too spicy. The salt and pepper chicken wasn't what I expected - it was more like a popcorn chicken. The chicken was very tender and crispy on the outside, but when it came to flavor it wasn't salty nor peppery. The fried rice was decent, and I liked the variety of ingredients they used. Staff was super attentive and friendly the entire time. I was recommended the Dan Dan noodles so I tried them. They were not very traditional in the sense that they weren't coated in a peanut sauce and there weren't cucumbers. I picked up dinner at Dumpling Artisan recently and it was the highlight of my week! My family loves dumplings and had been dying to try this place! Let me tell you, it's worth it. The service was excellent when the food was picked up and the restaurant was very clean. I really appreciated that our order was ready to go pretty quickly and that it was accurate. We also appreciated that they asked if we had any allergies. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious. I was ordering some food from Haven City Market in Rancho Cucamonga. I remember seeing Dumpling Artisan was nearby just on the other side of the same block. Thought I try them out. First time here. It was about 30 mins before closing time. There were a few tables of customers. I decided to do take-out. Their menu items are pretty similar to other dumpling spots. I chose 3 of my daughters go-to items and 1 item per the lady staff's recommendation. Classic Pork Xiao Long Bao was the best out of the 4 items. It had good flavor in its filling and juice. Definitely will get this again! Pork Cabbage Pan Fried Dumplings would be our second best... good amount of filling, flavor was on point, and it was perfectly pan fried. Another keeper! Wonton in Chili Oil was slightly disappointing... it didn't have the flavor or the taste we were looking for... chili oil was lighter in color and just didn't look authentic IMHO. Will not get again! Chicken Udon Noodles was darker in color than normal. Good amount of udon. Didn't see too many chicken pieces. Flavor was okay. Probably won't get again! Staff was nice. Ambiance was cool. We definitely had to think for a bit before we ordered as they had so many good options. We ended up going for a spread consisting of the Smashed Cucumbers, Crab Rangoons, Wagyu Beef Onion Xiao Long Bao, Crispy Walnut Shrimp, and the Signature Fried Rice. Cute new place in Rancho in the same complex as The Haven food hall. It was very clean upon walking in. There was a really nice aquarium with colorful fish upon entry. We were seated right away. The staff was friendly. Upon browsing the menu, they were very forward to advise that there was a 15% charge put on all bills. I didn't love the but it also said no additional tip was expected so I guess it was ok. The food was really good. The crab rangoons were nice and creamy. I loved the house fried rice. It was so flavorful and tasty. The truffle and traditional XLB were good. So was the pan fried pork and shrimp dumpling. Overall, food was good. This place is located above Haven Market, closer to Goodwill. Parking can be troublesome if Haven Market is busy, but if you know in advance where to find parking away from Haven Market, it should help. Service was attentive, even though she was by herself with the entire restaurant to cover. I went in early on Tuesday evening, and there were very few people here. However, by the time I left it was packed. I had the wontons in chili oil, it wasn't too spicy and I ended up adding soy sauce to give it a little more flavor. Delicious dumplings with juicy, flavorful filling, and braised beef that was incredibly tender and rich. The atmosphere was perfect, it was comfortable and inviting and the service was excellent. Parking is difficult and limited, but that's understandable for the area and didn't take away from the overall experience. Highly recommended. read more

Honestly I will never be back here again , first off upon walking in the lady rather be on the computer screen oppose to just seating the guest first not only that upon us getting seated she goes and takes the persons order that came in after us first before taking our order ... their service is horrible they take long to come back to your tables not only that I tried to order a certain dish off the menu and the lady didn't understand a word I was asking why have someone work here if they don't understand what people are asking or what's even on their own menu !?! Yes it's nice and clean looking but honestly sad to say I rather have it run down grungy looking and the food and service be 10-10 at this point it's like they put more effort in appearance then customer service , food quality service etc. mind you I have a newborn baby there is absolutely no room in here or accommodation for a stroller , yet barely a baby in a car seat ... and again being we have a new born you would think the server would accommodate us before the people that ENTERED AFTER US . Man I won't lie I though the food would've made up for the service I was waiting for the food and honestly I'm just very disappointed the noodles and shrimp have NO FLAVOR whatsoever , the wontons in chili oil as well no flavor don't let me get started that also they don't even bring all dishes out accordingly they took so long just to bring out my Mongolian beef and fried rice it's pathetic your basically done eating by the time your next dish comes out on top I think why ruins the flavor is that ALL THE DISHED ARE OILY like it's expected right but no this spots food is so oily I can't even grab it with my chopsticks they fall out I've never in my life been to a spot like this where it's damn near impossible to grab the food with the chopsticks because it's so oily ... I'm so upset I won't lie I've never had an experience this bad in soooo long smh ‍. And what's crazy is they don't even bring forks to your table the server was more worried about TAKING AWAY chopsticks from my table oppose to making sure we needed utensils .. so I just wrapped it and honestly yeah I def won't be back again unless the owner personally invited me back to make it right it was definitely a waste of money I'm like legit upset and disappointed that this experience didn't go well sad also 2.25 for a canned soda .. So I had to stop and re edit my review even more upon paying for my order the lady kept ringing up my card so many times it got denied because she basically kept recharging my card over and over again . Then she legit gave me attitude at the front counter it was the owner at first I was giving her a break being pregnant but then she gave me attitude and slammed the pen on the check and said forget it , it's on me now tomorrow ima go to my bank and make sure I get a copy and bring it back to show her ass maybe if you stopped worrying about buying CHROME HEARTS HOODY THATS LITERALLY 3k a hoody and spent that money on better chefs and food tasting quality oppose to tryna be flashy behind a counter ! But I mean it says a lot she rather spend money on herself then food quality and her business lol it hasn't even been 2 minutes since I left the business and she already replied on Yelp and sorry no you guys didn't COMP MY BILL I just posted proof you guys charged me nice job trying to make yourself look good and tomorrow I'll get the paperwork from my credit union to show you guys charged me !
