Smoothie was good, so I'll give them a 4. Otherwise a pretty meh experience over all with the menu and knowledge of staff. of course it's soooo expensive but I guess that's par for the course now. I have had quality cold Pressed juices in more expensive bougie areas for less. they're pretty proud of what they've got. They didn't have over half of the juices on menu, (checked 2 locations) and when I asked for the "seasonal" fruit listed on one, I was told it's cinnamon ... which isn't a fruit but ok. Anyway my friend picked us up a couple of million dollar smoothies and I admit they were quite good. She said she loves it there, so there's that. I know there's a lot of fans, but not much to choose from. She wouldn't know any of the (fairly limited IMO) add ins if it jumped out of her closet, and cold pressed is a michelob light for her soooo if flavor is your deal and budget isn't a concern you will enjoy. read more

I came in today with a friend and we ordered two bowls. After waiting about 15 minutes, only one order was ready, and there was no clear explanation about the missing item. When I spoke to the manager, she was unhelpful and came across as rude instead of trying to resolve the issue. The location of this Boise Juice is amazing, right next to Orange Theory and across from Axiom (plus plenty of free parking right out front). This is the spot to go after you're feeling good from getting your body moving and you want nourishment without feeling weighed down. I usually get the peanut butter acai bowl that is a blend of acai, strawberry, blueberry, peanut butter, and chocolate almond milk. That's topped with granola, chocolate nibs, banana, strawberry, and honey (Regular bowl $9.50 / Large $11.50). They also sell a little extra cup of their granola for .50 cents. Last time I came in, I got a large and probably ate 1/8th of it before putting it in the freezer to finish later. Also, pro tip with the large bowl lids is to be careful if you're driving in the car with it- they tend to become loose. I think it'd be really cool if they offered a mini sized acai bowl for like $5 for kids and folks like me who want to treat themselves after a workout but can't handle the sugar rush. Anyways, I digress- Boise Juice Company has wellness juice shots for $3.75 each and also offers a Juice Cleanse set of 6 juices per day for $52.50/day. I haven't done their juice cleanse before but a 3 day cleanse is recommended. The only juice that I've had from here is their Majik Mojito, which is pineapple, pear, lime, mint, coconut water, and Blue Majik which is supposed to be one of the most nutrient dense foods on the planet- rich in antioxidants with anti-inflammatory properties. The person that took my oder had a dismissive attitude ( in my receipt it said the employee was Charlie K). It doesn't take much to be nice and friendly for a few minutes, as that is how long it takes to take an order. Also, my bowl included pomegranate and she said they were out. I asked if they could sub it, just add more strawberries. She ended up charging me for extra strawberries. That doesn't make sense to me. If the company doesn't have an ingredient, why should I still pay the same price. I'll pay the same price if you can add more of another thing to equal it out. A few minutes later a guy called me up to get my bowls. He was nice and pleasant. Asked me if I wanted lids and spoons. No attitude from him, just courteous service. Overall, it's hard to want to come to an establish when staff are acting sour and unfriendly. Experiences like this makes you not want to give establishments your business. read more

Used to come here all the time in high school when my girlfriend worked here, glad to see that almost 4 years later the prices are still affordable and the açaí bowls/juices are still delicious. I've tried most of them. My favorites are the ones with beets and the ones with orange and carrot juice. It's not a cheap food option (some would say it's overpriced), but it is very good quality, healthy, and pretty friendly service. Restroom is single room for men and women. Located on the left rear of the restaurant. There are some paper cups out on the counter and a free spring water station. I wish they had easy access to calories and nutrition content (you have to request it from a store employee). Boise Juice Company is the highest quality smoothie and juice bar in Boise. It also is the most expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for here. This is a great place to get a high quality meal replacement smoothie or bowl. It is also definitely highly recommended if you would like to do a juice cleanse...but be prepared to shell out the cash. The interior of the store is small but clean (old Zeppole Bread Store) and there is additional outdoor seating. Service is prompt and friendly, it takes a little time to be made but everything is made to order and prepared fresh. You can grab pre-juiced items from the cooler. I do wish they listed their nutritional information in a more user friendly way. You have to ask for it and it's on an iPad that's a little hard to read...you would a place like this would have it readily available or right on the menu. I've had a smoothie and a bowl and both were delicious, not overly sweet which I like. If you want a sweet treat go over to West Side for a milkshake...but a heathy snack or meal that you can feel good about is your best bet here. Free and ample parking, next to Orange Theory Fitness so I'm sure they get lots of post workout business from the gym. Free WiFi and bathroom is in the back of the store. For the past few years I've been making the 20 minute drive to West State Street whenever I get hit with a craving that only an açaí bowl from Boise Juice can cure. This Boise Juice Company location is on the cross streets of Apple and Parkcenter - close to the greenbelt, Bown crossing, Warm Springs, Table Rock, and just a hop, skip and a jump from downtown. Right next door is Orange Theory Fitness (brilliant pairing, if you ask me). Go work out and then feel motivated to get something healthy, or go get something healthy and then have the mojo for a killer workout. I love this combo. As with their location on State Street, they cold press all of their raw juices in house and use only whole foods in their smoothies and açaí bowls - there's no ice or added sugars. This makes for a DELICIOUS smoothie/smoothie bowl. They are so creamy and thick, but guilt free. It's heavenly. I am a creature of habit, so when I find that thing I love somewhere, I come back for it over and over again. At Boise Juice, that "thing" is the peanut butter power bowl (or smoothie, depending on the day). It is so filling, creamy, peanut buttery, but also fresh tasting all in one. This smoothie/bowl is one of my favorite ways to treat myself because it tastes amazing and it makes me feel amazing. *Heart eyes*. It's about $8, but totally worth it. It's definitely substantial enough to be a meal replacement. And $8 for a meal? That ain't bad. Aside from their delicious smoothies/bowls, the vibe in here is so fun! Not a fan of Boise Juice for Açaí bowls. I ordered a large Berry On, no modifications. The bowl barely came up to the top, while others were overflowing. Couldn't taste the almond butter at all. The bottom was filled with so much granola that there was hardly any of the actual açaí mix in the middle.
