I quite liked them - meaty, juicy and with that crunchy, spicy Bojangles coating. I've always liked their fries, dirty rice and sweet tea, but I gotta say this place had the best biscuits I have ever had at a Bojangles. Now I wish I'd grabbed a ham biscuit for the road! I can't rate the food because I walked out. I never could order due to horrible service. The employe said they would be right with me, but they never helped me. On the way to the car dealership, I visited this location via drive-thru to grab some lunch. It was around 12:30pm and no wait for the drive-thru, which I was happy about. I ordered a 3 piece chicken tender meal with fries and a diet coke. The service was quick, and everything was correct. I had been to Bojangles before, but only for breakfast. I was excited to finally try the chicken. Everything was hot and fresh. The tenders were a decent size. I thought they tasted good but would prefer a little less breading. That's just my personal preference. The fries were very hot and good. I really like the honey mustard. Might sound strange, but I am a honey mustard connoisseur. This ranked pretty high up. I noticed this location a couple of weeks ago when I was in the area, but I didn't get to stop. I was back up here again today getting my car work done just up the road and decided to pick up lunch on my way home. It was just after they opened and there was already a line in the drive-through which I considered a good sign. I got a line. Not sure what I was gonna get but determined to have a good meal. When it was my turn, they asked me to wait a moment, which gave me time to go over the menu. I haven't had Bojangles in a while and I was looking forward to it. I ordered four piece with coleslaw for my side. It comes with a biscuit and a drink. I pulled up to the second window and paid and was immediately handed my food. I was then handed my drink and my receipt and was on my way. As I was driving away, I made a left, turn to go back up towards 50 and realized the lid had come off my drink and was laying in the passenger side floorboard. I was forced to pull off to the side of the road and put my four ways on, and then get out and walk around my vehicle to retrieve the lid. I had to clean soda off my seat and put the lid back on. The lid locked on just fine so I don't know why they had a problem with it. It was fine the rest of the way home and I ate when I got there. The chicken fingers were very good with the barbecue sauce and the biscuit was very tasty. The biscuit was a little dense, but I still really enjoyed it. The coleslaw turned out to be Really good as well. Overall, I had a very good meal. I happen to look the mail up online and realized it was listed as a special for $1.50 less than I was charged. We stopped in for a quick snack since we were just passing through, and I was pleasantly surprised by how helpful and kind the manager was--truly some of the best service I've ever had at a fast food restaurant. He noticed right away that we were first-timers and took the time to explain the menu, even letting us sample a hot, fresh tender to make sure we liked it. We ended up ordering a small meal to share, and he was kind enough to give us each our own drink and a variety of sauces to try since we were indecisive. Honestly, I've always loved Popeyes, but Bojangles might just take the top spot after this experience. The place was clean, the staff was attentive, and the whole atmosphere was welcoming. Parking was different with parking on the drive through side, but given another business is next to it... you do what you can. Ambiance? Typical interior. Clean and new. Signs of what the food is and what it will look like! Biscuits? You can watch them being made through the window. Very clever idea to show how fresh! Service: a technical difficulty with the app by the customer in front of us took some time, but we were patient. It was close to 2pm so as long as I was able to get my chicken in a biscuit.... And, it all worked out. They were all friendly and kind. Food: simply a chicken in a biscuit and a deconstructed sausage & egg biscuit with no biscuit (yes you can order that, no discount for lack of biscuit). It was delicious and satisfied our curiosity about this food. The biscuit was fluffy and fall apart good. Just had that homemade taste (without the added work). We enjoyed it. Some ask where's the ham? I asked. This is a modified location with a minimal menu. For a full menu you'll have to drive to Ocala! Maybe one day... I usually don't review fast food restaurants, but the staff member who helped me, Mike, was amazing! I had to leave him a good word! I've never had Bojangles before, and this location was a great experience! The location was very clean. There isn't much seating, so come prepared for that if you have a big family. I walked in and was greeted by Mike who asked if we'd ever been to a Bojangles. When he heard I hadn't, he immediately gave me a sample of the chicken and offered me up his favorites from the menu. I must say i was pleasantly surprised by the taste of their food. I ordered the 3 piece chicken tenders through Uber Eats during lunch time on two different occasions with the lemonade and the dirty rice. I do not like ordering French fries from anywhere through Uber Eats because they arrive borderline cold and not good. The dirty rice was surprisingly good! It was well seasoned. The lemonade is definitely not Minute Maid Lemonade and was good as well. Tasted as if they make it themselves. And the chicken tenders were good as well. I tried a variety of their sauces and i like the jalapeño ranch the best. The biscuit was pleasantly good as well. I was worried because i had no jelly or honey, but it wasn't really needed. The 3rd time i ate from this location (in a 2 week timespan), i went through the drive through and ordered the chicken sandwich (added lettuce tomato and cheese) with French fries and lemonade. The fries were overly seasoned, but were not bad at all. The chicken sandwich was pretty big, but it was flavorful as well. I poured buffalo sauce and the jalapeño ranch on my sandwich because i like spice and sauce on my sandwiches. I have no issues with the Uber Eats service or the drive through service i received. We stopped by unknowingly on the grand opening! Everyone was so kind, attentive, and the service itself was speedy and efficient. We ate inside and the ambiance was quiet (in a good way) for a fast food restaurant. Everyone inside the building was happy! The positivity was contagious. They were kind, they brought a to-go bag to my table and I didn't even have to ask for one, I saw someone cleaning the beverage station and helping the customers find the right lids for their drinks, I heard the staff in the kitchen constantly communicating to each other as orders were coming in, just overall really great folks working at this location. I haven't visited a Bojangles since the early 1990s, so I was thrilled to see one is 2 hours from me. The restaurant was very clean with great tables, all employees were so nice and patient as we decided whether to dine in or carry out, and even allowed us to sample the chicken. There is indoor seating, outdoor seating with umbrellas, and a drive thru. We opted to dine in and have never experienced such great service at a fast food restaurant. The restaurant was clean, quiet, and very cute inside. We ordered chicken sandwiches, chicken strip kids meals, fries, and Mac and cheese. Everything was tasty and crisp. I love the slight kick to the chicken, but it's not really spicy. My daughter who can't handle spicy food, loved the chicken strips. My other daughter said the Mac and cheese reminded her of Boston Market's and was very good. The biscuits were amazing! Everything we ordered was fantastic! RAVE for Bonjangles in Clermont. Admittedly, my first time there wasn't great ... but it was a few days after open and it takes businesses time to adjust. Wanted to give it another try: I went earlier this past week for a biscuit and coffee, and today, I went back for lunch. Both times, they were efficient, the staff was friendly and the food was really hot and fresh. I've only done drive thru so far, so no comments on the interior but it does look clean and modern from the outside. Sidenote: props that employees we encountered today around 12:30ish. Very friendly and professional. I worked in food service, and it's not an easy gig, so I always try to keep that in mind. As for menu ... You can't go wrong with their signature Cajun Chicken biscuit. And personally, I love their bo-rounds and black coffee. The fries were good only because they were made fresh. The peach "cobbler" was cold with some type of white stuff on it! Everything was a waste of time and money. Brand new location. Completely new area. So clearly they are not limited in what design they can build. The entrance is on the other side of parking. You can ONLY park on one side of their building. So you must park walk around the building. Was a great chain to get good chicken. Now unless you want a 10 piece dinner well over $30 is the only way you are able to get bone in chicken. I went into this Bojangles at 6:55 pm Tuesday Nov. 19th and ordered a Steak biscuit. The woman with a manager tag said it would be 8 minutes because they cooked them fresh. I said ok. 15 minutes later no food. I motioned to the manager where my food. She spoke to another employee and never came to the counter where I was. I finally flagged down one of the SIX people working and asked for a refund. That employee said they were short help and no one was fixing my order ??? STOP TALKING to each other and pay attention. He gets there to place the orders, was told all they make is chicken tenders no chicken pieces at all. No greens like was advertised only Mac n cheese , coleslaw, French fries biscuits. I stopped this morning and ordered a chicken biscuit and black coffee. I was kind of in a hurry and didn't review the menu well. Got to the window and Irvin was waiting on me I asked him if there happened to be a chicken biscuit that included egg and cheese as I didn't see it on the menu but had already paid for a plain chicken biscuit. He informed me there was and asked if I'd like to add it to my meal o informed his yes. That this is what I actually wanted and attempted to pay for the difference. Irvin said not to worry about it and asked his manger who agreed and added the egg and cheese at no cost. I know it sounds silly but these two gentleman actually made my day. I love Bojangles. I lived in South Carolina for several years. There is one near my vacation spot in Tennessee- so I was very excited to get a Cajun Filet Biscuit combo when the Clermont location opened. They do not have the Cajun Filet Biscuit. Nor do they have regular chicken pieces ( breast, wing, thigh leg) They only serve chicken tenders and a chicken sandwich (plain chicken biscuit until 2pm) I ordered their Legendary tea and was not excepting the lemon- that is not the Bojangles tea I have had anywhere else. And while I LOVE the fry seasoning the fries were way over seasoned. Needless to say I was disappointed. I think it will be hard to compete in the Clermont market without the full Bojangles menu most people expect. That said the chicken tenders were very good. Once our order was placed it took 25 minutes for a chicken biscuit. the food was there, but the servers didn't understand what they were doing in terms of putting it into bags and handing it to the customers.
