I'm currently sitting in the lobby at Bojangles and honestly really disappointed. We were told it would be a 15 minute wait for mac and cheese, so we decided not to order it to avoid the delay yet we still waited 35 minutes for our food. There were only two of us and one other customer in the restaurant. What made it worse is that when our food was finally ready, it was just kept behind the counter and no one called our name or told us it was up. We didn't even know it was sitting there until my fiancé went up to ask about it, and that's when she pulled it from behind the counter. REALLY DISAPPOINTED!!! When I first arrived I pulled around and noticed the manager outside smoking and the drive thru was kind of busy ( should of used that as an indicator) once in the lobby I then notice a bunch of workers at the end of the counter grouped up talking (busy drive thru). The lobby was empty except for 3 patrons at a table so I figured this should be an easy ordering experience. I did notice when the manager walked back in from outside he didn't even wash his hands. I also noticed that there was a young female behind there preparing food, she wasn't in uniform, her hair was all over the place and she was not wearing restaurant grade shoes but was making food. So I finally get acknowledged the second time (First time I wasn't ready to order but she was very bubbly and friendly and even smiled) and ordered my food which the cashier was not friendly at all as if she didn't want to be there. I ordered 1-3pc meal and 2-2pc meal with sides as well as an added on drink at which she did tell me that those meals came with drink so she had Alfred come to delete that off and again not a very approachable person. I feel like the front line workers including manager just absolutely hated being there and there attitudes were a reflection of how they were feeling at that moment. So I get my order and I asked the girl if all the chicken was in one box and she said yes. SO I grabbed the chicken and what I thought were my sides and drinks and went to the car. Once I opened ALL of my food out in my car I had only received the 3pc meal and I was soooooo disappointed in that alone. The chicken was not fresh, they picked the smallest 3 pieces that was overcooked from the case and put it in the box. So when I looked in the bag only to find that I was given 2 bacon, egg and cheese biscuit and 1 order of fries. The fries were cold and soggy and must have been just sitting in the fry basket for a little while. I was missing my 2-2pc chicken meal and the sides that went with them. I didn't even want to go back in to say anything because of the environment and I was already there longer than I should have been for the amount of food that was ordered. Not too mention the drive thru was extremely busy and I didn't want to deal with it. Overall my experience wasn't the greatest and I feel if you are in the food service industry of any sort people need to be more friendly/personable. And also handwashing is very important and needs to be practiced because I seen when the manager walked in and he had no time to wash his hands. Do better. read more

Awful service, awful food, stop giving this dump your business. Girl behind the counter was slamming stuff down and throwing a fit, rolling her eyes at customers and all around unpleasant to deal with. Heard one guy behind the counter swearing because he messed up an order he shouted out "God d*** it!". Do these people get pay checks? Are they held here against their will? They sure act like it. Went through the drive thru yesterday and picked up the #12 chicken deluxe combo. Service, mediocre. Food? Fries were hot, but extremely salty. Chicken sandwich, er chicken salad sandwich? The lettuce shredded? What the heck. I spent several minutes picking up fallen lettuce and not truly enjoying the sandwich. AI order CRAP is too impersonal. You aren't hearing the customers. I went here to pick up two chicken sandwiches. The sandwiches were overcooked they were like eating gravel and were burned somewhat. I took them back and the manager told me they had cooked them an extra 10 min because the center was still raw . He then made two more and they were just as bad thrown in the trash. Lured into the new Bojangles' by their Facebook offer of a free breakfast sandwich with the purchase of a drink, we stopped by this morning for breakfast. The place has been VERY busy since their grand opening less than 1 week ago (16-Dec-2013). We each ordered the Bacon, Egg and Cheese Biscuit, small Coffees and we shared a small Bo-Tato Rounds. To rate the food, I will compare it to Hardees, a nearby restaurant that we have had similar food at. Restaurant Cleanliness: I give this to Bojangles'. New store and very clean. Order Efficiency: Giving this to Bojangles' as well. They have their process down and Hardees has really gotten slow. Food Quality: I'd rate this a tie between Bojangles' and Hardees. Both are good in quality. Food Taste: Here, I'd give Hardees a slight edge. Their breakfast sandwich, while a bit greasier, tastes just a little better. Also, Hardee's breakfast potatoes are cooked just a bit crispier and I like that better than the Bo-Tato rounds were today at Bojangles'. On my next visit to Bojangles', I'll ask for Bo-Tato Rounds that are fried crispier. Conclusion: We liked Bojangles' and we'll be back to try their chicken tenders for lunch one day. read more

I was so excited about seeing a Bojangles since there are none in Texas, my honey and I had to stop. We ordered the $5 meals that were advertised. I ordered the breast meal with dirty rice and he ordered the 2 piece dark with dirty rice. The chicken tasted dry as if it had been sitting under the light for sometime. My breast was literally the size of a thigh. My honey had to go and order additional pieces of chicken because his pieces of dark meat were so small. Getting a decent biscuit at this Bojangles is hit or miss. Living in the Carolinas for 8 years, I visited many Bojangles. When I moved to Crossville, I wanted to continue the tradition. However, this location is hit or miss. I would get a hot, fresh biscuit one time and the next tome I visited a few weeks later, the biscuit tasted like hard tack bread from the War between the States. The country ham would be good one time and tough as shoe leather the next. Don't get the sweet tea, it is not sweet, nor do I think it is tea. Really hard to rate this place. read more

The Moist Towelette is/was often placed on one's food tray as a bit of: a) Consideration on the part of the vendor b) Unintentional warning of an impending encounter of the greasy kind! c) Both of the above, especially at fried chicken venues! In Crossville, TN on a drenchingly wet Friday afternoon, not looking towards a construction-delayed drive to Knoxville via I-40, and in dire need of substance, I whipped the White Mule into a Bojangles near the interstate, not out of chicken-induced desire, but because the location had great exit/entrance traits on a busy access highway. Lucky me. Bojangles has undergone something of a renaissance, after imploding in a franchise-induced restructuring process begun in the 80's, a casualty of the 'chicken wars'. Frankly, I had written off ever seeing another in this region. They disappeared, as quickly as a midway at a fairground, or spring snow in April. And that was a loss, for Bojangles was the first franchise in the area to offer 'breakfast-like' items all through the day. While other venues slammed the door on breakfast at 10:30, Bo offered tasty (if greasy), chicken and pork items all day to breakfast junkies such as Your's Truly. They were before their time, and the time just wasn't right. Mr Sanders & K. Rodgers had the bird market cornered, and it was starving time for any newcomers to the chicken-oriented table. Well....Bo is BACK! And in a big way. The franchise is marking their turf and standing tall with the big boys, with clean, modern, well-maintained venues, in locations convenient for the traveler or the local fellow seeking a tasty chicken-fix. Despite a dining room filled with coat & ties, families, damp construction folk, and the occasional table of locals, cleanliness was the order of the day, with tables, carpets, and chairs regularly wiped and ordered. The restroom was maintained and well-stocked. On this afternoon, I selected the biscuit two-piece, with a side of mac 'n cheese. My order was waiting for me as I walked to the end of the counter. The chicken was piping-hot, the mac 'n cheese rich and creamy, the biscuit, soft, golden brown, and flaky. One-star deduct for the strange "spork-object" masquerading as a dining implement. Randomly stopped at this Bojangles drive through off the highway on my way home. Had a craving for sides so got a side of mashed potatoes/gravy and mac and cheese. Mashed potatoes were fine, but the mac and cheese was basically empty when I opened it. Maybe a third of the container was full. That's a rip off! They also didn't give me any utensils so I had to turn around and go back to get a fork. It's not that hard to get this order right. read more

This is only my second time eating at Bojangles and it didn't disappoint. The food was fresh and tasty and the portions were decent. The restaurant seemed clean and the employees were friendly. Seemed way better then other fast food chicken joints. read more

The chicken is excellent, I prefer the white meat. I took off a star because all Bojangles are rather dishonest with their menu. Combos for bone in chicken are not on the menu anywhere and it isn't just this Bojangles. If you order off the menu you will have to buy a "dinner" and a separate drink. You have to ask specifically for the COMBO or it will cost you about $3 extra which is ridiculous! read more
