On our way back from our trip to Huntsville Alabama, we stopped for lunch in Crossville TN. We stopped at McAllister Deli and it was packed!!! We got in line while Tony Vanoy secured a table for us. I ordered for him a Reuben Sandwich with side of Mac n' Cheese and I chose the half McAllister Club with Potato Soup. We share a Large Half cut Tea. The food was delicious!!! Deacon got the kids pizza with Mac n' cheese and fruit punch to drink with a cookie. Joshua Hunt choose the Memphisian 6in sandwich with side of potato soup and soda. Kayla Beth Fields went with the McAllister Club and chips with water for her drink!!! The food was awesome! Total was roughly $60 with taxes & tips....Definitely would do again!!!

Nice and fresh ingredients. A little pricey but we splurge once in a while. Glad we finally got one here in Crossville

Great little spot for a lox bialy and a latte…read more We got: -Potato blintz (not very flavorful but it went okay) -lox bialy (dill and scallion schmear, goood nova lox, red onion, cucumber, capers, tomato, sweet pepper relish and dill. served on an everything bialy. Haven't had pastrami in a while so I had to order the Pastrami Reuben and the presentation was great with how it was stacked! Between the sauce and the sauerkraut the flavors were all good and I enjoyed the taste of the pastrami when I found it, but the bread to meat ratio was so high I mostly tasted the burned crust of the bread and very few bites of pastrami. It was one slice of pastrami, not a thin slice but not what you hope for when you bite into true Jewish deli pastrami, which are normally bursting at the seems with meat. Marble rye is hard not to burn and they did a good job for the most part, but I tasted more crust than I did pastrami, and for $18 I wonder if this sandwich was more a charge for the hype. The blintzes were also smaller than one would expect of a blintz but I absolutely loved the compote on top.

My cousin got the same and her husband got The Rachel I think, he said it was good but he's man of very few words, but he had it eaten before I had even eaten a few bites of mine so I assume that meant he really enjoyed it. The drinks were a really good fountain drinks which has been harder and harder to find. The only thing I wasn't blown away by was the sides, we had pasta salad, and Cole slaw and they were fine, nothing bad just wasn't really worth the extra calories. Overall I definitely recommend Red Brick Deli if you want a good sandwich.

I picked Red Brick when we traveled to Murphy because a review stated they had gluten-free wraps…read more Nope! That was the previous owner. Since I am gluten intolerant, options were slim. I chose the Chef Salad, no tomatoes. As you can see by the picture, this salad really needs the color of tomatoes, and is very bland without them. Also, in a deli, I was expecting sliced, rather than shaved, meats. I personally find shaved meats very unappetizing. But because I was hungry, and had ordered it, I ate the salad. I had a side of potato salad, too, which I found more to my liking. Hubby had the Cuban. The waitress said the bread is made locally. He found the sandwich to be adequate. We probably will try other restaurants in the area on future visits.
