The workers not only did not work, but two of them were wandering around multiple times (not working!~). after I witnessed them being asked to get back to work. I asked who was working on my meal and the lady would not even speak to me, she pointed the first time and then the second time, she walked away from me. I've been goin to this Bojangles for years. It's hit or miss. I ordered a 3pc tenders combo today and the chicken was way overcooked. Usually the supremes are a nice orange-ish color when they're cooked properly but mine were completely brown. The chicken was dried out from the overcooking. Sweet tea had an odd taste, usually due to the ice they use being near some sort of other product. It all depends when you go and who's working cause some days, it's perfect! At the end of the day, it's fast food, not a gourmet restaurant but I will say, consistency is important. Let me share my experience at Bojangles in Belmont today. I was hoping to grab some gravy and biscuits before heading to school, but unfortunately, their machine was down, and they couldn't process debit card payments. At that point, we could have simply acknowledged the situation and moved on to another place. However, the employee mentioned that he could still process my card--through the drive-through. Then, he casually remarked, and I quote, "that would be a hassle." So, you're saying your equipment isn't working, yet you have an alternative, but it's too inconvenient for you to help a customer? He kept insisting that it was a hassle, so I decided to just go to McDonald's instead. If taking a simple order is such a burden for you, then perhaps this job isn't the right fit. At that moment, a bystander felt compelled to chime in, which was unsolicited advice. It's just a way to speak to people. When you hace more than 30 mins left until you close, you don't be nasty and rude and verbally tell people you're going to serve them cold food. Sadly, this was at 6:30 pm (dinner time) on a Sunday. I was the only dine in customer in the building, there were less than 6 carry out customers, and even fewer drive-thru customers while I ate, but I saw several employees on their cell phones. This restaurant used to stay busy but has gone down hill. The dining and drink station areas were awful. The only reason I gave it 1-star is because my food was delivered hot This Bojangles needs some updating (cosmetically) and the staff needs retraining. read more

This is my second time leaving a bad review for this location. The workers were out of all drinks except tea, which I don't drink. Typical because they are out of something every time I go. The workers are horrible -- there were no adults working, literally no one over the age of 18. They stood around the back, arguing with one another about each other's attitudes -- a bunch of children standing around not working. I didn't intent on eating here because I don't typically do fast food. I met a person here today to hand off an item that I sold on FACEBOOK marketplace. After she left, I went inside to get some iced tea and got lured by some of their fried chicken. I just had one piece, but it was finger lickin' good, even if it wasn't the Kentucky recipe. At first blush this is just another southern fried chicken chain. I stopped here because I like chicken and it was not far from my hotel. Based on the name I was hoping for a more Cajun experience but it's really just a substitute for KFC or Popeye's. I don't think that the chicken is anything special but it's not bad either. I liked the real gravy with potatoes and the pintos had a flavorful seasoning to them, tasted like chili powder and maybe cumin. The sweet tea is good too. This was going to be a three star review until I tied into the Bo-Berry biscuit. Wow! That was amazing. That alone puts Bojangles past Popeyes and KFC. read more

As we were waiting for our food there were about four people that ordered after us that had received their food already. I waited patiently and just happened to peep around the counter and noticed my order just sitting there. At this time, it was 2:27pm. Several team members passed our orders a numerous amount of times including the shift manager "Devon" and ignored our food. As this was brought to their attention the manager replaced our sides because of the time it was spent out with team members hovering over. Not one team member, including the manager, asked whose food it was that had been sitting out. They never even called out our order or the receipt number like they did for everyone else. So, I requested that I receive my money back on my card so I can go else where to eat. Having previous experience in the restaurant field, no food should be left out with teammates hovering over it, the food order should've been called out to notify the customer of it being ready and the entire team should've never ignored the food sitting out. read more
