I was really disappointed with my order from this location. The chicken wasn't fully cooked pretty much raw, and the tenders were somewhat burnt. I almost swallowed the undercooked chicken before realizing it, which is completely unacceptable. On top of that, I had to drive 20 minutes one way--and then back--just to get the issue resolved. When I order food, I expect it to be prepared correctly the first time. I will say the manager on duty resolved the matter to our liking, and I appreciate that. Some may ask why I'm still posting this review, but I believe it needs to be said so this doesn't happen again to anyone else. More importantly, feedback like this helps the business improve and provide a better experience for customers in the future. read more

Not sure why such a low overall rating for this place. If you're expecting a four star French restaurant I'm pretty sure you came to the wrong place. It's a pretty standard fast food dining experience. But I don't come for the ambiance. I come for the crunchy slightly peppery (not spicy) chicken fingers and their fries that are lightly salted with my favorite seasoned salt that I dip in their barbecue sauce that I spike with their Texas Pete bbq sauce. Then I finish up with one of their golden flaky fresh made biscuits covered in honey. And wash it all down with some local cherry drink Cherwine. The service is courteous and friendly. read more

I'm honestly really disappointed with my experience at this Bojangles. We've been waiting inside for over 30 minutes, and for the first 20 minutes there wasn't even anyone at the front counter to bag orders. Customers were just standing there waiting with no acknowledgment from staff. Once someone finally came up front, there still seemed to be no sense of urgency or organization. The line inside is long and the drive-thru is practically wrapped around the building, yet the service pace hasn't picked up at all. I understand places get busy, but basic customer service like having someone available to take orders and keeping things moving--should still be a priority. Right now it feels very unorganized and frustrating for everyone waiting. read more

Totally disgusting. Went this morning to get a sausage and egg biscuit. Not a complicated order. I get home and I can't wait to eat cause I'm starving. Open my sandwich and it just don't look right. The biscuit is limp and skinny. The egg looks like it's in transition to be another color and it was rubbery not soft and fluffy. As I go into more of the sandwich it's been microwaved because everything is sticking together. They microwaved the biscuit so long I couldn't even bite it. The whole sandwich looked like it was from the day before and they served it to me today. I will not be back anytime soon. My god where do I start. I got wrote up for being so late. They can't get you your order in any efficient manner. Lady couldn't even check on the screen what I ordered off the kiosk. Asking me "what was your order" I could've walked in waited and gotten free food. Not a responsible way to run a fast food chain. Corporate should do something about these workers. This is by far the best Bojangles I have been to. The food is always piping hot and the staff is always great! On this visit, my son and I had come to the outlets across the street and stopped for a bite before getting back on the road. He ordered a chicken sandwich and I got some Supremes. The fries and biscuits were steaming hot and fresh. His sandwich was smoking as if it came straight out the grease to his bun. This is the second time my family has visited this Bojangles location, being that we are new to the Charlotte area from Raleigh. The food quality was horrible again, I asked for a Quater white and was informed that they Ran out of Chicken.. Again a Chicken restaurant telling me that they ran out of chicken and that I need to order something else... This is by far the WORST Bojangles in Charlotte!! One weeks ago, I ordered an 2-piece white meat chicken meal. No breast. Instead of the employee telling me they were out of breast, she just gave me 3 wings!!! I opened the box before I pulled from drive-thru and when I said something about it, when THEN told me they were out of breast!!! My husband just went to get an 8-piece and biscuits. When he bought it home, we discovered there were no wings!!!!!! We received 3 legs, 3 thighs, and 2 breast!!!! Noone said ANYTHING to my husband!!!!!! Absolutely worst customer service. Went through the drive thru and was told there would be a 5 min wait for Botato rounds. I waited 10 mins in the parking lot. Never received anything, so I went inside to retrieve my order. I was told by an extremely rude dark skin black male with locs that my food was ready, they were just waiting on biscuits, which would take another 5 mins. I literally said, "just refund me for the biscuit and I'll take the rest of my food." (I know I said it because another customer standing next to me at the register confirmed it and said, "I think he refunded you for your entire order instead of the biscuit"). I asked the male employee about my order and he said he refunded me the entire order and was wondering why I was still standing there. I reiterated to him that I literally asked for the biscuit to be refunded and to just give me the food that was ready. The male became extremely argumentative and told me that was not what he heard. The male employee began packaging my order and ringing me up again. His attitude was so nasty that I said forget it, I don't feel comfortable eating something being handled by someone who is so nasty and rude, and I walked out. As a male, arguing with a customer is one thing, but arguing with a woman is self-emasculating and makes you look really feminine. Do better, young man. If management wishes to pull up the security footage to confirm which male I interacted with, I entered the store on 10/26/24 and the time on my receipt says 2:48 pm. I have contacted corporate and I will make sure this is handled properly because no one deserves to be treated that way. I'm from NY so the closest we have to Bojangles is Popeyes. I really enjoyed it for a fast food place. My friend and I decided to stop there after apartment searching. We decided to go inside and the dining room only had a few guests. The cashier was very sweet and accommodating. The other crew working seemed like they were all in a bad mood. I got the chicken tenders with cajun fries. They have pretty good sauce options also. In my opinion, it was way better than Popeyes and I would most likely go to this location again. read more

The food is good. The attitudes of the employees, not so much. I eat here almost every weekday morning because it's close to work. No personality. No one seems like they are happy to be at work. After 5-months in Charlotte I finally made it to Bojangles. Man, I must have thought about dropping by on 100s of occasions, but it took Chick-Fil-A being closed on Sunday to make me jump on in. Bojangles reminds me of a Popeye's Fried Chicken that has a Chick-Fil-A selection. Their menu is rather diverse and includes both the breakfast and lunch items I generally like from Chick-Fil-A. They have a chicken biscuit that's pretty comparable to Chick-Fil-A and that says a lot considering Chick-Fil-A has a crazy good breakfast menu. Unlike Chick-Fil, they are open on Sundays, so they already have me any Sunday of the year. Another aspect of their menu I like is that they serve breakfast all day long. Chick-Fil-A doesn't do that and that makes Bojangles have a sweet place in my heart. Speaking of sweet, there is nothing sweet about Bojangles outside of the tea. Their food has a kick that puts them on par with Popeye's. I tried both their chicken sandwich, (not as good as Chick-Fil-A, but better than Popeye's and KFC) and their 8-piece chicken and biscuits (Chick-Fil-A doesn't have fried chicken and their biscuits aren't as good as Bojangles). The chicken was a little spicier than I expected. I had worked for Popeye's in a previous life and I am fairly used to spicy. But the Bojangles spicy is different. It's not hot, it just packs a punch. I liked it a lot. My wife, however was not impressed and she reminded me of her opinion for the rest of the day. I was especially happy to try their biscuits. I had heard great things and I am biscuit freak. Bojangles does not disappoint. As far as everything is concerned, the restaurant was clean, their service was especially friendly; when we came back for the 8-piece later in the day, the drive-through person was uber-excited and put a smile on our faces: Makes a difference when someone is happy when they talk. I give the service a 5; price a 4; location a 5; being open on Sundays a 5; and breakfast all day long a 5. Their chicken had a great taste, but I'm not totally sold on the fried chicke itself. The legs they gave me were the size of my thumbs and it just wasn;t as crispy as I generally like. I'd have to say I like Harris Teeter fried Chicken just a little bit more than Bojangles. However, I love their sandwiches and breakfast slection emensly. I give them a 3.5 for fried chicken. Overall, I am giving them 4-stars. read more
