I'm on a Bojangles kick lately. I can't get enough of the sausage bo berry biscuits. I cannot believe it took me this long to try one! I love the combination of salty/savory and sweet. When I called the store, the staff refused to help and told me to find the third-party delivery company myself, even though I placed the order directly through the Bojangles app and was given no third-party contact information. I made the mistake of shopping hungry at the nearby Teeter but I recognized that and didn't fill my cart with snacks. Instead, I headed to the nearest Bojangles for lunch. Not the fastest, I was here long enough that I took a picture of the two cars in front of me at the drive through to remind me of how long I waited. However, once I did get to the window and my order was handed to me by a masked worker (though I could see others behind him not wearing masks). Fresh and hot when I opened it up a few minutes later. Two piece white meat (breast and leg) plus a biscuit and a small pot of cole slaw. The box contained a cutlery packet. The chicken was tasty and the biscuit was light and (I took a small bit) a little salty. Cole slaw was creamy and cool. If you're okay with a wait but want good chicken, Bojangles does it. this location is an absolute joke. I keep telling my kids Im sorry but we wont be back at Bojangles but they continue to sucker me into it but after today. I refuse! 4th time in a row In mad. 1st - placed order for my kids, they take my card run it, then tell me they dont have what I ordered in. They ran out. mind you it was like 5 pm at dinner. also had no drinks but tea. 2- breakfast ordered my daughter FRESH Borounds they were frozen in the middle 3- had no honey mustard and food was cold from earlier in the day 4- today my son wanted chicken, daughter wanted fries, with hesitation i said ok. They were literally had no dark meat chicken in the whole restaurant at 4:30 in the afternoon. NONE! So, second time food wasnt available, several times of disgusting food. it's literally a joke and whoever the mgr is, idk how she cannot see something needs to change. First off, let's disregard the service related reviews. It's fast food so please set your expectations in the first place. The drive through line was wrapped around the lot, but it wasn't bad by any means inside. The staff was pleasant enough. I went with the Cajun filet biscuit and added cheese/egg. My only beef with it was the cheese could've been melted more and the biscuit crumbled really quickly. Level-setting myself, it's fast food. For what it was, it was pretty good. The tots were interesting. They were large and they gave you a few. Mentally, I would've liked them to be smaller and get more. No biggie. The bo berry biscuit was slamming. I could picture that coming from a bakery. Again, not a gourmet meal or experience, but a staple when visiting North Carolina. read more

Slowest drive thru ever. I literally got here around 8am and there was only 1 car in the drive thru waiting to order. I pulled up behind them and it literally took several minutes before the car in front of me even got to order! There were no cars waiting for their food at the actual window. Finally, it was my turn. The service at this restaurant is absolutely horrible. I waited 30 minutes for my order and they were not even that busy. One person was halfway working and the rest just stood around chatting, getting frustrated with each other, ordering about who should be doing the job, and acting like they didn't have a clue. The manager was not managing or even directing anybody. I could've gotten my own order in 10 minutes. It was on a Sunday and nobody wanted to work. This is a new location and this is my third visit. Something is not right and I don't know other than the chicken does not taste as it does at the Bo location further north on Hwy 521. One time was a white meat meal, breast and wing. Was wet rather than juicy and flavor lacked. Next was three wings and two legs. Cooked OK, but just looking at the skin and outside of the pieces was odd. It lacked the bumps, making it smooth skin. Maybe it just lacked sufficient coating, I'm just a consumer, not a chicken expert. Today I used a coupon to get the chicken supreme snack, which consists of four chicken tenders and a roll, plus the synthetic ranch dressing. And there was that wetness when I bit into the pieces, but also the meat was soggy, lacking "bite." It is an immaculate facility with lots of trash cans (good), alert and prompt order taker and the displays and kitchen appear just to be just fine. Condiment bar is clean and well stocked. Need somebody other than a new franchisee to check out the chicken preparation. I noticed that Mark C. also commented on the breading. Maybe we are on to something, at least a clue to be pursued. Is the food good? Yes! But the customer service in the place is just not worth the drive over there. The experience that me and my step dad had is something no one should ever experience in a fast food restaurant or any restaurant. We ordered in the drive thru line when the lady on the intercom says "yes?" After my step dad proceeds to order. Midway through his order, she interrupts and says "hold on" with an attitude. After that he orders a meal and asks if he could get three honey mustard sauces when she says "You only get two." With, yet again, another attitude. After that, my step dad said "can I pay extra for the third?" And no response and then she said "Is that all? Pull up to the next window" When we get to the window two guys were fooling around while the lady was doing all the work. (It made sense where the attitude came from). She proceeds to hand us our food and before we left we checked to make sure we got everything. And guess what? One BBQ sauce and no honey mustard. My step dad proceeds to say "Hey, you gave me one BBQ, I asked for three Honey Mustard sauces" (Keep in mind he's paying extra for the third sauce). She proceeds to hand him two honey mustard sauces and then he says "I asked for three" She hands him the third one with an attitude. He's holding the BBQ to return because we never asked for that sauce and when he hands it to her she says "keep it." With yet again another attitude. The person who seemed to be the Manager finally looked over from drive thru and said "Are you a Door Dash????" We never had this caliber of fried chicken in the DC area - Popeyes coming in a very close second, mostly for their red beans and rice. 3 Stars because the dude at the register was clearly baked, even apologizing because "his mind was elsewhere" LOL I bet it is buddy! Its Bojangles, so I dont expect a LOT, but seriously EVERY time I go in there the service is terrible. It takes forever for someone to take my order. It takes forever to get my food. The tables are sticky. The manager is yelling at the staff so loud thats all you can hear. The food is fine, but again, its fast food so expectations are limited. The least you can do it make it an enjoyable experience with the staff, and they are so poorly managed and trained that its always a bad experience. 3:45 pm on a Saturday, no customers and the men's room was disgusting. There was food on the floor behind the counter. Food was typical.

The Bojangles at Indian Land is located in a small shopping center at the intersection of US 521 and SC 160; the entrance his somewhat blocked by trees, so be careful when turning in or out of here. The store itself is usually clean, including the drink station and restrooms; staff friendly and helpful. On my most recent visit (after 1pm), I ordered the homestyle tenders (had coupon), and the $5 2-piece combo deal (yes, lot of food here). The homestyle tenders were pretty good, ate with the BBQ. The biscuits were fresh and buttery. The fries (came in the combo) were soggy and unpleasant. The chicken was not tasty; the breading was barely on them and looked and tasted like they have been waiting all morning. My last few trips to this location I have experienced similar with the chicken. Overall, I give it 2 out of 5 stars, comparing it with other Bojangles and to the other choices available in the area. If it wasn't for the consistent poor quality of the chicken, this location would easily be 4 of 5 because of everything else. read more

New to the area, I wanted to see what people were talking about with Bojangles. I had tried one of their breakfast sandwiches in the CLT airport location and it was decent. The Fort Mill location was truly bad. First warning sign: zero customers when we walked in at dinner time (6ish). Our chicken looked to have been sitting in a warmer for hours. All of the tables had debris on them (despite the lack of people). The employees were more interested in their phones or taking breaks than working. Definitely won't be back to this Bojangles, anyone know of a better location? read more

Don't try and get an all white meat box. You get charged and then end up with a mixed box. This has happened to me three times at this location. The last time, I even pointed out the error and was told that they didn't have anymore white meat. Poor service, poor quality food. Terribly slow and unpredictable. Like most Bojangles. Most of the time they are out of something we want and they have to cook it. Sometimes (OK, frequently) they mess up our order or leave things out of it. Which is kinda crazy given that we've had to wait for them to cook some of the food we ordered. You would think that the extra "7 minutes" (which turns into 12-15-18 minutes) would give them plenty of time to fill the rest of the order. Today I went by there early to get breakfast. I arrived at 6:38 only to be told that they weren't open yet and would open in "7 minutes". Their posted hours say they open at 5am. So I shrugged it off and went to fill up in the meantime thinking the timing would be about right to return as they were opening. I pulled in 8 minutes later and there were now 10 cars in the drive thru. I was pretty committed to Bojangles at this point. I had skipped over McDonald's and Chick-Fil-A, to say nothing of "Rise" down by Publix, because I wanted a sausage gravy biscuit. So I parked and went in. There was no one in line and after a moment someone came over to take my order. I ordered the gravy biscuit and she walked away to check. Nope, no gravy. Do you have ham? She checked and yes, they did. She kept saying that they had biscuits (but it was apparent that some of the fillings might not be ready). I was able to find enough that was "ready" to fill our breakfast order. Here's what I don't get. This place seems to be poorly run. Based on the other reviews I see, that seems fair to say. And the branch at Cotswald is similar. It seemed that every time we went there they were "out of chicken" and we had to wait for them to cook it. But the branch on Morrison Blvd, which seemed to have always run like a clock, is closed. How is it that the only well-run Bojangles around gets shut down? I thought maybe they were going to tear down the building but I just heard that Wendy's is opening in Bojangles old location there. And why is this such a consistent theme with Bojangles? One of the worst Bojangles I've ever visited. Called in an order of 24 biscuits. Gave an hour prep time, (person that answered phone said that was plenty of time). When I arrived, was told by the Assistant Unit Director, (Donna) that she "gave the order to the kitchen as soon as she got it, (she was the person that took the order) but they haven't started yet". She gave ZERO F's that they had an hour to make the food but hadn't started it. She offered no apologies, nothing. I had no real choice but to wait on the order. This gave me an opportunity to watch Donna interact with other customers. Horrible! She was short and borderline rude to almost every customer she spoke to. Terrible! read more

My first and last Bojangles experience was this evening. It was 5pm I was the ONLY car in the drive thru (should have taken the clue and gotten out of there right then) and it still took 15mins. I ordered the 8pc tailgate meal and was told they only have 1 breast and no wings left. So you're telling me that at 5pm right before the dinner rush at a fried chicken restaurant they had only 1 breast and no wings...how does that happen? I said OK pulled around, paid, and waited, and waited. After about 10mins the girl comes to the window and asked if I wanted to wait for biscuits or just take everything else and go? I paid for the biscuits so yes I'll wait. So she asked me to pull up and 5 more minutes pass and I finally get my chicken and fixins. Went home and no one was impressed with any of the food. I used to get better chicken in a convenience store back in Ohio. I wanted to like Bojangles but sadly it wasn't meant to be. read more

This bojangles has messed my order up countless times. Just now I made another order of a Cajun club and Mac and cheese, however they had us pull up so we weren't at the window if something went wrong. When they finally got my order out they forgot my mac and cheese so I went up to the door to tell them, however the doors was locked and nobody was at the front desk to see me, I just said screw this and left. They forgot my Mac and cheese, my sauce for fries and my straw for my drink and they have done this make times. I don't know why they have bad reviews, we're real customers and highly recommend this place. The ladies bathroom was clean as were the tables in the eating area. But go for the chicken which is sooooo good & they have honey for the buiscits. I had a side of cole slaw while my daughter got the green beans and mashed potatoes. Mikeem, who rang up our meal, was nice and friendly. He even gave us extra butter for the mashed potatoes.....the way to our hearts! read more
