The food is delicious and the staff provides service excellence each and every visit.

My wife came across this place online but we had no idea how to find it. Tucked into a comercial area with construction all around and huge office buildings. There are signs one you enter that tell you where the cafe is, so that helped. Walk in and it's a reception area and the sign points to the left for the cafe. Walking down a long hall with lots of seating and books on the left side and couches to the right. The cafe counter directly ahead and the case was full of pastries and goodies. The menu screens were off or broken so we grabbed a paper menu. All the specialty drinks sounded so good. I went with the Butterfinger and my god is it good. The butterscotch used really stands out and all the flavors combined are amazing. All the flavors are going to be tried and keep in mind I am not a big coffee drinker. A hidden gem. Very fine coffee bar with pastries. Am coming here more often as it is quiet and there are a few areas with chairs and tables where you could do work with minimal interruption. Crossridge Cafe. We went to lunch there for the first time, the menu looked great, but the sandwiches that we got were dry and tasteless. The people that were working there were so nice, we didn't complain, but boy, I don't think I will eat there again. I didn't even know this place existed until a friend asked me if I wanted to meet here for coffee! I looked it up, on yelp of course, and was stoked. It's on a gated property so when you pull in you just tell the security guard that you're going to the café and he will direct you accordingly. You enter the building and go to the left past the front desk and enter the café. To the left is lots of seating and to the right are smaller sitting areas and a few prayer rooms. The prayer rooms have two sofas, a changing table and diaper pail, a tv monitor a side table and a large window with a beautiful view. Straight ahead is the coffee food and beverage area. They have all kinds of hot coffee and tea drinks, smoothies and specialty drinks. There are pastries, breakfast sandwiches, great lunch sandwich options and some snacks to purchase. The staff is very nice and the place is so peaceful. There's the coffee area with sugars and cream and a water dispenser, more seating that consist of chair and high top tables, sofas and a TV that plays the Inspire channel. I got a coffee with my yelp check in offer and brought my almond coffee creamer from home. I really hope that places that sell coffee will begin to offer the almond or coconut coffee creamers that are found in stores now. Plain almond milk just isn't the same. My daughter got a breakfast croissant with sausage, egg and cheese and a blueberry muffin. Everything was good. We spent some time in the prayer room, the doors lock for privacy and then my friend and I went on a lovely walk around the properties trails and lake. So serene and lovely. Forget any other coffee spot, this is the a great place to go to study, get some work done, meet up with friends while enjoying great drinks and coffee or go for a nice walk. I would love it if they offer a vegetarian/vegan breakfast and lunch offering because if your meat and/or dairy free, you pretty much can only have a drink. Went back last week with my Mom and it was actually nicer this second visit and so many more people have discovered this gem. The first time I went there The fountains had been drained of the water and now they were full and were so pretty to look out on. The restaurant is a nice, very clean place with A touch of elegance to relax in. The coffee was delicious and they have quite the variety. We split the chicken salad sandwich on a croissant with chips and it was delicious! read more

Update: They've started carrying the same beans that Amelie's, Julia's Coffee, Mugs Coffee, and other shops in Charlotte which are known for their ridiculously good espresso. Definitely becoming a 'destination' coffee shop. read more

I love CrossRidge Cafe! The food, drinks, staff, and atmosphere are all amazing! I come here all the time for a hot chocolate or double chocolate muffin. That being said, you HAVE to try their muffins: banana nut, blueberry, and of course double chocolate are so, so good! I wouldn't really recommend the food because it's more of a coffee shop/cafe then restaurant. Overall, I highly recommend CrossRidge Cafe for any coffee/hot chocolate/tea lover. read more

Wonderful things about the COL Café: - The nicest staff - Hilary and Madison are truly some of the kindest people! - The chicken salad - on a salad or a croissant. I don't even like chicken salad and I like this. It is super fresh and flavorful, and doesn't taste like mayo. It's also super cheap! - The selection of drinks are on par with any quality coffeeshop around. I like to try their different Harney & Sons teas, or my favorite indulgence -the blended chai. - They have delicious and affordable snacks as well. My favorite is the Heath cookies. read more

I feel so very lucky to have a fantastic cafe walking distance from my office. I love that I can order ahead and just pick up and get back to work. The staff is super friendly and Hilary has done a fabulous job with the cafe. My faves are the hot Taro Root tea (with a shot of espresso), Sencha Tea and the Southwestern Salad. And with free wifi it's a great place to take your laptop to and change up your work environment. Tuesday mornings the Veterans meet there and I enjoy seeing their faces. I don't drink coffee, but there are plenty of other options here as well. The Thai Tea is great, hot or cold. Milkshakes and smoothies too. Try the Thin Mint milkshake, it's amazing! Salads, sandwiches and soups. The chicken salad is made by angels, I'm fairly sure. The staff is awesome and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. CrossRidge Cafe is a hidden gem in Indian Land! The coffee, sandwiches, wraps, and smoothies are all excellent. I bring my toddler son with me, and their staff and kitchen are very accommodating. The CR Cafe Manager does a great job keeping the place clean, well stocked and organized! Everything we have tried at the cafe is delicious, made to order, and of high quality ingredients. This place even exceeds other stores like Dean & Deluca IMO. The surrounding grounds are so tranquil; its always a relaxing and enjoyable visit.
