The inside of my Christmas wagel bagel
    Tina V.

I've been going here periodically for the last few years! I have only gotten bagels and never tried their sandwiches. The whole place has a New York theme - very appealing to me being an East Coaster and knowing that NJ and NY absolutely have the best bagels. I have yet to try their cream cheeses because I always get bagels to bring home and serve them with my own cream cheese but today I noticed they had a couple of fun flavors that would very well appeal to anyone with a sweet tooth: cookies & cream, and also funfetti. My absolute favorite thing they have that will always keep me coming back is that they have colored bagels that they call "wagels" and the colors are always themed for the holidays - and if there's not a holiday, they will often have rainbow! They look fantastic! Today I got Christmas themed ones, but in the past I've gotten green for St. Patrick's Day, red for Valentines Day, pastels for Easter... They have real wow factor! I knocked off one star for being pricey because 4 wagels cost me $14. ...fyi: their general rule on weekends is that they won't cut bagels for you because they are too busy. I took a shot and asked today (Sunday) and the employee said she would do it if I waited for the line to go down - I didn't wait, though....

    Just what I asked for!!

All I wanted was a breakfast sandwich and a coffee. What I got was a ray of sunshine too. Tiffany is her name. I watched each interaction before mine and let me tell you something... this young lady can lift anyone's spirit. Thank you Tiffany for making my day!! The bagel and the coffee were good!

Pleasantly surprised by how fantastic the bagel sandwiches are here. Can't wait to go back. Enormous selection of fresh baked bagels!

Delicious!! I'm not a big bagel fan but the breakfast sandwich on the everything bagel was incredible!! The bagel was so soft and had so much flavor!! Will absolutely be back and better than any bagel you could get at the store!

Small shop with delicious bagels, bagels crusty outside, soft insides, great texture and a good variety. We bought 6 kinds: garlic, pumpernickel, everything, plain and poppyseeed. The shop has coffee, Boars Head brand meats, bakery items such as muffins and cookies plus all kinds of spreads ( whitefish, hummus, variety of cream cheeses etc.) for the bagels. Our half dozen was $6.25, a dozen a bit over $10. One can also get breakfast ( egg) sandwiches, wraps and even gluten free bagels and a variety of breakfast meat sides This business also caters. A great place for bagel aficionados.

Very good small bagel shop. Great flavor and they do not skimp on cream cheese! They are setup more for takeout than dining in.

As a recent transplant to SC, I am happy to live nearby West End. They produce a very good bagel.

The best pumpernickel bagels around. They have a large selection of flavors of bagels, make sandwiches, and sell some baked goods.

And to those of you who write reviews, as I do, you owe it to the staff, management and owners to immediately deal with it. I did not want to make a scene as it was a busy weekend, so I was wrong. I later talked with Tony, one of the owners, who was extremely helpful as we went over the issue. Unfortunately, my bad, there was little he could do to rectify the situation and to determine just why the steak was not to my satisfaction. For whatever the reason, I can assure you, as I did with Tony, that when my wife and I return that is there are any issues I will immediately bring it up to the manager. A good reminder lesson for me. Butcher Shop does have excellent, high quality meat. We will be looking at how the cooking part goes. Could have been a bad night. We will see.

I've been four times. The best burger I've tried yet is the Butcher's Burger. If you're looking for a burger with a smoky flavor, uplifted by the richness of the pork belly and seared onions... I haven't found better yet in the city. CB&BG is home to the best side dish in the city so far. Fried Okra. A dish I am beyond familiar, but rather familial with being from Oklahoma. I've had it countless times. I have not only never seen it prepared like this, but I have never had better. Forget the traditional fried okra chips or medallions you're used to. They tempura fry the whole dang thing. Get yourself some ranch and enjoy. The indoor atmospere is clean, sleek, and fun whenever they have live sports on TV or live bands in house. We sat outside. & enjoyed mid 50's temps with the gas heaters going. We had a brat, chicken nuggets, cheese burger, chili cheese fries & salad with chicken breast. The menu said it was as 'lettuce' and when I asked the order guy if it was 'Iceberg' he said 'yes' I asked he hold the onions. I got NO iceberg AND I got the onions. Kinda disappointed, I didn't think it was the happiest d of an order.

Welp, I held out for long enough and I'm finally fed up enough to give a review/warning…read more I love the place. The Burgers and fries are great. They have apple pies that taste like what McDonalds used to serve over 15 years ago before they got cheap with them. My problem with them is however they organize putting the order together into the bag. 95% of the time I go there, there's something wrong. Most of the time, it's that they don't give me my dipping sauce. For most places, I wouldn't care about the mistake and just eat my meal. However, unlike most other places, this franchise charges $0.50 for a dipping cup and you don't get a complimentary one. Other times, I'm missing my apple pie. Luckily, It takes me 2 seconds looking in the bag to notice because they have this annoying protocol of having drive through customers pull forward, away from the window to wait on your food (unlike other places, it's not because 1 item you ordered is being made and allowing other customers to get their food and go around you while you wait). It turns into me rushing to open the bag and find a problem before they disappear into the building. Now come to today. Same old, same old. They managed to remember my dipping cup but forgot my entire apple pie. Waved them down, got it and took off. Fast forward to getting home and I open my burger to find that my double is suddenly a single with jalapenos on it. I have never been to any food place that forgets and messes my order up more frequently than I have here. It's not a food problem, I love the food. It's a problem with the people working in it, which is more than likely because of whatever very specific way the franchise wants their workers to do things. If you go here, make sure you have everything you paid for. You will probably need to be vigilant here more so that any other place you've gone to combined.

Whataburger Classic Monterrey Double Special Whataburger sauce Missing Onion Rings - $22 Not bad, sautéed peppers on Monterrey were good, burgers cooked properly, bun not too dense and had a buttery flavor.
