I had a cool experience at this Habit Burger & Grill! I started with an online order for a Charburger with cheese and a drink--which was an amazing deal since I got the burger for free just by downloading the app. My total was only $3.27! They texted me when it was ready (about 15 minutes), and I headed inside for pickup. While there, I decided to add a Grilled Chicken Salad to-go. Because of the extra wait for the salad, the cashier was kind enough to offer me a free drink. I tried their "Homemade Juices"--the Cucumber Melon and Strawberry--and both were refreshing and delicious. The salad took about 30 minutes, but I didn't mind since I was able to sit in the clean, quiet dining area and enjoy my burger while I waited. My mom loved the salad, and the burger was excellent. I have been here twice. Both times I had to ask for a table to be cleaned. Ok not that big of a deal. However, when they clean the table with a dirty towel and brush everything on the bench and chair your about to sit on its a problem for me. Then we ordered a box so we get the box and immediately I notice the hair hanging off one of the burgers clear as day a black hair. We take it back and they "make" it again... except now the burgers are cold. The patties are so thin that you can't even taste the meat. Maybe that's a good thing. I tried this place while traveling years ago and loved it. I decided to randomly visit and I was not disappointed! I saw the advertisement for the tempura avocado wedges and was skeptical but decided to give them a try. There wasn't a long line and the interior had a steady amount of visitors. My food arrived quickly and the service was great! I ordered the charburger meal with avocado fries and a double charburger add bacon with sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious. This started out well with an easy order at the self order kiosk but went off the rails after that. After we ordered and got drinks, finding a place to sit was a challenge. Not because the place was super busy but because almost all the tables were dirty. What wasn't dirty was occupied but we cleaned a spot and sat. We saw people asking for cloths to clean tables themselves. Our order was called and first appearance looked good. I had the Charburger and it was a good burger. The fries were cold so we sent those back. We knew the fries were going to be cold as the person that ordered before us returned their fries for being cold. Good chance ours would be too and they were. We finished the burgers then went up to ask about our fries as we saw fresh fries coming out and going to other orders. This location needs help. We ordered two burgers and whoever put them together was either blind or didn't give a shit, most likely, the latter. My burger bun was soaking wet; it fell apart as soon as I tried to pick it up. The packaging was so wet, I used my own paper plate. Look at this piece of lettuce; did they dig it out of the trash?? Did they think I wouldn't notice rotting lettuce? The fries were so salty, they were inedible. And, I love salt!! When I notified them, they sent this phony apology with a link attached for some free food. They call them "Chartickets" which are valid at any location. They were from the "Customer Care Team." The second time I notified them of not being able to get to the link, they sent the link again. And again, the link did not work. Crappy meal, crappy customer care, at least this location. The third time I notified them, I sent the pic of this tired ass lettuce, and I never heard from them again. That was July 14. 2025. This is just another bait and switch burger place. I was driving past and decided to try this new place. It looked more upscale than McDonalds or Burger King. The restaurant was super clean and the staff were very friendly. A star rating for that. The issue was the food. The photos of the burgers looked appetizing and fresh. However, the mess I received was far from the advertised food. My burger was super wet and unappetizing. It almost looked like it was stepped on after it was wrapped as it was flat and smooched together. Nothing like the images in the restaurant. This place is just another bait and switch burger joint. Always delicious food. It's definitely not inexpensive, but I'm also paying for service. The manager continually checked in customers to make sure everything was perfect. Was in the Indian Land area and had to make a stop at Habit Burger for lunch. The Charlotte location has closed and it hurts. There was no warning or explanation of why that location closed. This location was packed and so was the drive thru. We needed a restroom break so we went inside. The bathrooms were clean. I had placed the order online and waited for everything to be cooked and bagged. The food was all tasty. Everything was cooked fresh. We got the family deal so we had plenty of food. I really hate that Habit burger is so far away from the city. Hopefully they return to a new location in the city soon but if not I know that I can take a drive to Indian Land to get some goods eats. The burgers looked just like the pictures. I had the Santa Barbara char burger and my Daughter had the char burger. The fries were even great. The only knock was the fries got a bit to salty. There is no doubt we will be back. Between Burger Fi and Habit hands and feed down Habit. The burger in our opinion was even better than Bad Daddy's. I've been to Habit Burger on a couple of occasions and it's not a bad restaurant yet they don't quite do it for me with the flavor of the food. One thing to know upfront is that they offer veggie burgers and regular burgers so make sure you're ordering correctly. I didn't do the plant based alternative because I like the real deal. The restaurant has always been clean, the customer staff is very good and timely. The portion size of the burger is good for the price yet my issue really comes down to the taste of the food. It's not very flavorful yet it gets the job done; barely. The fries are good when they're hot. I had to go back and ask for hot fries because they were warm. So If you're into healthy alternatives to fast-food then Habit Burger may be for you. I personally will be skipping in the future. read more

Sad to say that the quality here has really gone downhill since they opened. Ive had bad experiences the last several times that we picked up food (super long wait times with no one else in the drive thru and subpar food) but after tonight I think im definitely over ever going back. My family spent over $70 on dinner and two of our meals were so bad that they were inedible. I ordered a chicken sandwich and it was rock hard, dry and weirdly burnt in places. What I received was nowhere near appetizing. It went into the trash and I had to spend even more money on a couple of sandwiches from somewhere else.
