Super great service today, food was good and made fresh when we came in. They even gave out free boberry biscuit samples.

The staff is super friendly and always takes good care of me. I love the fried chicken and the Cajun fries with a soft drink. They are good for lunch and are also good for dinner although the combos are a little pricey. I will keep coming here and bring the family as long as they keep up the good work. I occasionally come to Bojangles for a quick breakfast meal. Breakfast is served all day which is plus. Bojangles sausage,egg, and cheese biscuits are delicious. It's definitely my favorite fast food breakfast option. The soft buttery biscuit makes the sandwich in my opinion. I stop by for fried chicken sometimes but breakfast is usually what I order. Also, the sweet tea is refreshing. This location is busy at prime hours because it's new. I had a long wait in the drive-thru during opening week. Customer service was good. The parking lot is a bit cramped. This Bojangles is a good addition to the area. read more

I've been here several times for lunch and dinner and the food is good, the staff is friendly, and the place is pretty clean. Getting to the place is the hardest part. Also few times the dirty rice wasn't cooked the way it suppose to be but the consistency of the chicken and biscuit always makes up for it. Went to Staples Mill road store when it opened. Found biscuits not even close to Hardee's. Neither are SW virginia's mountain's my families creations. Suggestion, merge the Bo's country ham on Hardee's biscuits, but today's people wouldn't now a good biscuit it it kicked them in the XXX read more

This location is fairly new so it looks very clean and this was my first time. We went through the drive thru and bought the 3 pc with mashed potatoes and everything was very crispy and tasty, but sooo greasy. But hey, it's fried chicken so can't complian, right? I would say that I think I should have been forewarned that the fried chicken was spicy even though I didn't ordered them to be. Biscuits were fluffy, buttery and magical and mashed potatoes with gravy taste like it's fresh out of a cardboard box......but in a good way. Like it brings me back to those perfectly sphered hump of mashed potatoes back in elementary school. Which were a childhood favorite of mine. So thumbs up to Bajangos. :) read more

A Bojangles stop is a must when I'm in the RVA area as there are only a few in the Dc area. As a suggestion, order the Supremes, delicious perfectly battered chicken breast tenders with the seasoned fries and and their refreshing sweet tea, you cannot go wrong! read more

I was very excited when this location first opened and frequently went for breakfast and dinner. I often had good experiences, but those started to become fewer and farther between. Today was officially my last visit. After going through the drive-through line to place my breakfast order, I found that I not only was missing a few items, but also a few of the items in the bag I was given seemed to be incorrect. I politely expressed my concern to the operator of the drive-through window. She in turn proceeded to demand that I produce my receipt to prove that I had in fact ordered the missing items. When she handed me the first bag, she did not indicate that there were more items on the way and proceeded to argue with me about the quantity of the missing items. Furthermore, she seemed rather surprised that I spent the time to ensure that my order was in fact delivered correctly. In belabored manner, she did finally produce the missing items, but never issued an apology or acknowledged any kind of inconvenience. Bojangles' products are not delicious enough to put up with that kind of service. I realize that it is a fast food restaurant, but there are standards. This location has missed the mark too many times. read more

Going through the drive-thru about two nights ago when I pulled up to order, the prerecorded electronic voice let me know that the building was closed. This was at 10 PM. I rechecked online to confirm that the building was closed Monday through Thursday at 11 , Fridays and Saturdays at midnight. I then called the building and was told that they closed at 10 PM. I came one day later at 10:30 pm and it was open. At that time they said they closed at 11 pm. This is very inconsistent performance on customer service. read more

Ordered a chicken biscuit and sandwich, and the chicken was RAW. I don't understand how fried chicken can be raw at an establishment like this. They probably had leftovers and microwaved the chicken. I saw freezer burns on the filet and everything. I hope the people that eat here actually look at their food because just me talking about this makes me feel even more sick to my stomach. Just ordered breakfast here. Ordered a side of bacon. Was told I would get three pieces and got a few broken pieces that may equate to two pieces of bacon. I absolutely love bojangles, but this bojangles is absolutely the worst restaurant i've been to hands down, not just the worst bojangles! They have THE MOST TERRIBLE drive-thru service i've ever experienced, I have come to this bojangles often because it is the closet to where i live and i will NO LONGER RETURN. For starters, the drive-thru is made for faster service than the inside of the restaurant, AND IT IS 10 TIMES SLOWER THAN THE INSIDE. For starters, you'll 9 times out of 10 be told "can you give me one moment please" and they'll take 5 minutes to come to the intercom or they just won't come to the intercom at all. Then they take their sweet time at window to prepare your food and after most likely a 10 minute wait, the food I GUARANTEE WILL NOT BE FRESH. I'm talking old fries and overall cold food. As for the employees, each of them are either little teenagers or recovering drugs addicts who if you lay your eyes on, you wouldn't feel the same while eating your food. I have never in my life written a yelp review but I guess it takes a really bad experience to make you write your first one. Let me say Bojangles has been one of my favorite fast food places since I was a kid. Biscuits are my favorite food and they have some of the best! My grandma and I would go almost every morning when I was little. Still to this day I love Bojangles and it honestly hurts my heart that this place sucks so much. I feel helpless like it's out of my control! It's been an on going issue for a while but today really put the icing on the cake. I rolled up to a very short line which usually would be a plus to get some breakfast. The person in front of me was at the order screen and took about 5 + minutes to order which I thought was very weird considering there was no one in front of them. So eventually it's my turn and I sit there for a good 2-3 minutes of silence. I've worked in the service industry and I always practice patience with every restaurant because I know how it is so I dont usually say anything right away so I'm sitting there for 2-3 minutes and finally I say "hello?" Still nothing. I wait another 2-3 minutes and say " hello are you ready?" someone says "one second" like I've been here almost 10 minutes and no one is in line? So I sit there another couple of minutes and still nothing. So there are people behind me who at this point are starting to leave and there is no one in line in front of me. So after about 15 minutes at this point of just sitting at the order screen with no one in line I have to go because I'm now running late to where I need to go. It's always been slow but the biscuits made it worth it but they haven't been very good lately either. It's like people are working there but not really working. So I guess from now I'll have to go in, grab the food myself and just leave a 20 on the counter because no one is attending to any costumers. I can't believe it hasn't been shut down yet actually. it's was 2:30 pm on Sunday, not a busy time (not lunch or dinner) drive thru was packed, it took me 20 min's to get a 2-piece meal, finally got up to the window to pick up meal and had to still wait another 7 minutes because they didn't have it packed up yet. Drive thru was horrible! Took 20 mins to get food and both orders were messed up.

It did not take long for this place to decline, the employees always seem disorganized every time I go in. The lines are long, and the employees are not only very slow, they seem to socialize between themselves over taking care of customers in a speedy friendly manner. This past Sunday was my last time going to this place, and I am sure based on the comments I heard from other customers in line it was their last time going to this location. I think they need to train their employees better, hire employees that do not move in slow motion,and hire new management who actually manage the entire operation and not just the take out window. read more
