Okay first time coming here and let me say i was never disappointed at all babyyy!!!!!! The food is just absolutely amazing!!! The wings are to die for as well as the ranch dip!! You just can't go wrong.. well seasoned and done to perfection. Our server was Alassandra and she was just the sweetest. She was efficient and helped get our table situated right away. The ambience is a chill vibe and you must go for sure!!!

A trip to Cary Street one afternoon, lead us to needing some lunch before we started our drive back to Hampton Roads. I did a quick Yelp search and we came across Beauvine Burger Concept. We loved what we saw. There was parking on the street, and easy to navigate. When we walked in we were seated right away. The booth was a tiny tight, but we managed. I took a look around and really enjoyed the vibes. We took a look at the menu and ordered pretty quick. I opted for a wedge salad. It was very fresh and had great flavor. The dressing was great as well. The wedge salad came with pickled red onions, tomatoes, fresh herbs, and topped with a chive bleu cheese dressing. I ordered what i felt was a good classic burger for the first time trying them out. I ordered the Beauvine Burger. The burger came with American cheese, house pickles, sliced red onion, tomato, bibb lettuce, beau sauce. The sauce was a good match. Be sure to order your burger with no pink if you prefer that, otherwise it will come with a little pink center. I think it states it on the menu. Everyone loved their food. So much so that we will definitely be returning! Our waitress was perfect. She held a little conversation here and there, and seemed to be knowledgeable on their menu. Beauvine has been around for a while. They are pretty well established in the community. They are open just about everyday of the year, and have events here and there. It is a pretty popular spot especially with the VCU students. Their ingredients are carefully sourced, and they support a lot of local farmers, and resources.

I came on a Saturday night and was surprised with how packed it was. I was initially at the bar before going to my table; they were accommodating with moving our stuff from the bar to table. I got two peppermint hot chocolates and they were delicious; reminded me of alcoholic peppermint mochas with a marshmellow. I also got a burger too and it was pretty solid. I enjoyed my night here with nice drinks and filling burgers. Can be loud and crowded here though.

Visited Beauvine for the first time with my VCU student for his bday! We strolled in at midnight to have a late bite as he turned a year older. This hidden gem nestled in VCU territory was open late, with dim great gatsby feel and great tunes. We were immediately greeted and sat. My son had been there so he walked us thru the menu while ranting about the duck fat truffle fries. I don't often frequent burger places due to not eating beef but this surprising gem carried the freshest most juicy turkey burger I've ever had. The menu has several specialty burgers to choose from, however we all did the build your own which in my opinion is the way to go. The milkshakes seemed to be very popular due to the amount of to go orders I watched go out. I did try the fresh ginger ale made with fresh ginger lime and cane. A true winner. The duck fat truffle fries were magical! And they give you so many of them my daughter and I could have shared. The staff is so friendly and everything is cooked to order freshly for you. I suggest trying this little treasure

Beauvine was a great surprise and definitely worth a stop if you're visiting or passing through Richmond. For the price, it's fairly cheap considering the quality--especially for a burger spot. I tried the Gouda mac and cheese balls, which were rich, smooth, and had a pleasantly peppery bite. Just know everything leans heavy and indulgent, so be ready for richness. They do add a carry-out fee that covers gratuity, which is helpful to know ahead of time. The burger was the highlight: pimento cheese, onion mayo, and a brioche bun. The bun was buttery and soft, and the pimento cheese had a great jalapeño flavor--nothing too spicy, so don't worry if heat isn't your thing. Overall, the flavor was delicious, but the components are all rich, and there wasn't much acidity or freshness to cut through it. Nice environment , tons of buzz. Still, the experience was very enjoyable, and I'd highly recommend Beauvine for a satisfying, creative burger meal. Great flavor, good value, and worth the visit.

My go to place for burgers in RVA!! I love customizing my burger. You've got to try the Beau Sauce. They also have the most delicious adult milkshakes (with alcohol). The ambiance is pretty chill its great for late night bites or just a casual lunch.

This place has my favorite burgers in Richmond. The staff is incredible and the bartenders are the kind you don't get anymore these days. It's become my comfort spot because the environment feels like the show Cheers and the food is outstanding. 10/5 for me!

A local recommended this spot when we were trying to figure out where to eat lunch! We were able to get seated right away via their bar seating, and we were a group of 8ish. Regular table seating was about a ~20min wait I'm not usually a burger gal, BUT I was humbled by how good their burgers were especially the Joe's Beef one - I loved the marinated mushrooms and garlic aioli sauce! And was obsessed with their sweet potato waffle fries!

Had a most fantastic burger here. The Joe beef was rich, flavorful, and juicy. Everything a burger should be! The sweet potato waffle fries were thin and crispy. The duck fat fries were delicious, with just the right amount of fry and salt. The raspberry soda was a great balance of tartness and refreshing and was not too sweet. The wings were good as well. Service was great, efficient, and attentive. The interior is very welcoming. Just short of five stars because I would say the tables are a little sticky though. And I'm a firm believer in that burgers should come with fries. Overall, excellent place and excellent burgers!

I was driving through Richmond and decided to stop at this place and get a burger, I was shocked at how busy this place was! I ordered the Beauvine Burger, which is a basic burger with lettuce tomato cheese onion etc.. It was okay, definitely wasn't the best burger I've ever had. Definitely liked the ambience of this place but not sure about the burgers. Next time I would order something different.

Beauvine is a wonderful late night spot that still has great service and fresh food, even at 10 PM. I got the titular Beauvine burger and a side of fries to split with my friend. I'd give the burger a 10/10. It was cooked well and all of the toppings were fresh and balanced. I'd give the fries a 7/10. They were a bit salty, but still had great crunch. We were promptly sat outside by the friendly service. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a solid burger and a nice ambiance.

We were looking for a late night spot so we came here. This is my second time (my first visit was amazing) and the food tonight was just ok. I opted for the Lafayette with a side of onion rings. The burger was overcooked we asked "for pink middle" and lukewarm temperature wise at best, the bun wasn't warmed up which made it taste old and the onion rings were very done. And there was more than enough flaky salt also which threw off the meal. My daughter felt the same about her burger and fries. We try not to return food so we mustered through it. The customer service and Christmas themed decor were both the highlight of the visit.

Only been here twice over the past couple of years but reminded again how I need to come more often: Best burgers in town! They don't take reservations so I think I'm always worried there will be a huge wait but if you come early then u don't have to worry much. Vibe is rustic metro? Cozy lighting at night with wood floors and table tops and some brick on one wall but a hopping bar with big city sophistication and some retro adult milkshakes. This time around I ordered the Irish au revoir which is a maple salted caramel shake with some Tullamore Irish whiskey and I was only planning to have a few sips and give the rest to my family so I could save calories for the soon to come burger but it was so good I drank over half before I finally made a sorrowful push away and asked my family to save me from myself. My husband ordered the Christmas in New York, which was also pretty amazing. I could've easily had one of those myself. Kind of a different play on a paper plane with the lemon in there, but the addition of the pinot Noir float and the cinnamon, simple syrup, set it apart from the classic paper plane. My son got the housemade eggnog which was good, but I thought my milkshake and Christmas in NY were way more satisfying. . For entrées, we got the De leon,The Joe beef and the steak frites burgers. We all loved our selections. My favorite was the Joe beef and the De Leon. They were all perfectly cooked, juicy and so flavorful. We also got onion rings and fries with truffle Parmesan and loved those as well. Parking is not too bad but you might have to walk some if it's busy. And again I recommend coming early if you don't wanna wait too long for a table. They also have happy hour from 4 to 6 PM. I think Monday through Thursday. Service was friendly and mostly quick. Really gonna make an effort to come here again soon.

To their credit, they do have a good draft/bottle beer list, and their burgers are indeed good. However, that's really all there is to recommend them. The parking situation here is absolutely awful and starts things off on a bad note. Their absence of a waitlist system made it awkward while our party waited to get a table and other groups waiting for a table jockeyed for position, and they took forever to clean it off even after the previous party had left. While it was nice of my compatriots to pay for my dinner, the server refused to split our checks, which made it especially obnoxious for my friends who had ordered significantly less than others since they were still on the hook for the even split. If this had been the only service issue it might have been somewhat forgivable, but the server all but disappeared for most of the evening after taking our orders, particularly when most of us ran dry before our food finally arrived. This all might be excusable in a cheaper place, but Jack Brown's is NOT cheap anymore, they are just as overpriced as every other "bougie burger" spot around without a valid justification for it. At the end of the evening, I looked really dumb for choosing this place. That is definitely not a mistake I will make twice. Overall: 2.0 stars --- Pros: - Excellent draft and bottle beer list. - Burgers are good and unique. Cons: - Recent price increases kill the value proposition of this spot, just not worth it anymore when there are SO many options around for this sort of thing. - Weird seating/waitlist situation makes for a bad first impression. - Service was incredibly low energy, and as I can attest to as a former restaurant server myself, a party of eight needs some effort to get things right. - Parking here sucks, this area desperately needs at least one parking garage to make it less of an exercise in frustration to get here in the first place.
