Lady at the register was really rude and had an attitude. Also the biscuits were undercooked on the inside and hard on the outside.

I came into town to visit family at dinner time 18:00 went to Bojangles for the first time and last time. I went inside Bojangles to place my order. Placed my order the lady was nice that took the order. Received it a good amount of time. Ordered chicken nuggets chicken sandwiches and fries one tea. No lids on tea dispenser or lids for my tea cup no napkins. I asked to have my cup filled from behind the counter. Get home one mile away. Fries uncooked the sandwiches was cold not even warm The place was dirty. This place should not display a 99 on the drive thru window false advertising. Talking with another costumer advised staff there was a pack of cigarettes on the floor in the kitchen prep area. If the food was cooked it could have potentially been good. I came here on Thursday night close to closing time and ordered a Cajun sandwich and chicken tenders. Being from California, I've never been to a Bojangles before(however it had been hyped up a bit by the woman who recommended coming here). However, I would say it is just ok by fried chicken standards. The biscuit was a little soggy, and the tenders were good, but a little too greasy for my taste. That being said, they seem pretty par for the course for fried Chicken places, and didn't really seem that different from any other fast chicken place like KFC or Popeyes. The price point was excellent, but my socks remains on after eating(they weren't knocked off) so it's probably not a place I would come back to again. read more

000 STARS! I work for GrubHub and had an order come in with the Lincolnton location, mind I was in Iron Station when I got the call. it took me 10 minutes to get there. I go in the store to pick up and notice the order was not ready so I began waiting of course. As I walk in though, there's a lady standing in the front (from the drive thru) that hadn't received one of her items in her bag. They get her her item. She leaves. I then notice there's a Door Dash guy that's been waiting on his order from before I got there. He's frustrated from waiting (he said he was). Then another (older lady) comes in and is complaining about her fries being "straight salt". She showed me her food when she walked in as we began talking. It takes a bit but they get the Door Dash guy his order and fix the older lady's food....before she gets her order fixed she points out to me that they are still serving other people in the drive thru those same shriveled, salty fries. Both the lady and Door Dash guy leaves. I stood a bit longer then finally decided to ask the blonde lady (who's walking around like she's completely clueless of what she's doin) what was taking so long. BUT HERE IS HOW MY ORDEAL HAPPENED. I said,"Excuse me?" No answer, so I said "Excuse me" again, to the blonde lady. I asked her,"how much longer is this order going to take, I've driven 10 minutes to get here to pick up this order plus I've been waiting in here 5-10 minutes and it's still not done". Then I stated "this is ridiculous". Mind, I wasn't rude, I wasn't mean. I didn't fuss, yell, or use any profane language either. She walked off and the next thing I know is a bigger, black lady come walking up to the counter and started telling me that I didn't need to come in there being rude to the workers, That they were understaffed and other stuff. I TRIED to tell her I wasn't being rude. I had asked her (the blonde) a question then tried explaining what I had asked/said to her. She would NOT stop talking over me to hear my side or to even try to let me explain myself in any way, shape, or form. I got frustrated with her being unprofessional because she just refused to hush long enough to hear me out so it got a lil heated between the two of us. Mind I still haven't used any profanity, but now I'm mad and told her to "kiss my butt". That's only because she kept talking over me, NONSTOP! I'm then told by her that "she can tell me to leave." I told her I was getting my order. THEN some tall white guy comes out and says, "let's talk". I'm like "ok", but then am informed I need to step outside to talk???!!!!!! So we step outside and I try explaining to him I didn't get smart with or was rude to the blonde lady, but he's not helping the situation in ANY way. I felt as if I was talking to an incompetent idiot. On top of having a pacemaker and Congestive Heart Failure, my blood pressure is through the roof and my chest and BOTH arms are hurting now. Then a really sweet girl keeps trying to let me know she has my order ready (she's standing close to the doors INSIDE the facility) so I go to open the door and the guy keeps telling me no. So I finally wave the girl to bring it to me at the door. So the really sweet girl comes to the door to hand me the order finally so I take it and tell the guy I'll be calling Corporate over this. He says,"go ahead"?!! I'm thinking "REALLY"?!!! I delivered my order and went home to try to get my heart rate to come down because I felt as if my heart was going to bust. I've not felt good since. I'm really debating on taking this a step further if something is not done because this was BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL and BEYOND UNCALLED FOR. I was treated this way for asking a question. If the blonde can't take someone asking WHY an order is taking so long and the phrase "this is ridiculous" then she doesn't need to be working with the public. It was a simple question and statement. Sat in line to order my food for 20 min. Finally got to order my food. Sat in line to pay for another 10 min just to be told at the window that they were out of dark meat chicken and it was gonna be another 15 min. Is this not a chicken place? Bojangles you suck. read more

This is the chicken sandwich I received after waiting 4 additional minutes for bo-berry biscuits. This is the worst Latin I've ever been to. They never get your order right, and you always have to "pull up" and wait for the food. Apparently they now serve raw/undercooked chicken as well. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. I pulled up to the window. Paid in cash, and they asked me to pull over to park. After waiting 18 minutes I called the store and they lady asked me if I was asked to park. I told her yes. She then asked me what my order was. They bumped my ticket and never even made the meal, so I had to tell her the entire order again. From the time I pulled into the drive through to order and the time it took to get my meal was a total of 27 minutes. Tammy the manager didn't even have the decency to bring the meal out to us. I LOVE THE FOOD! So why the 1 star review you ask??? This review is years in the making. I'm a life long Bojangles lover but but but but I can't get over the Service. I ignored this poor review for a long time in part to my loyalty. Every Bojangles is ridiculous on their service. People are nice enough, but I have waited over 20 minutes multiple times at multiple locations. I've been trapped in drive thru lines. I've literally had to stand in drive thru lines asking when my food would be delivered to my car ( let that sink in for a second) It's a business model problem ( and I'm not ordering some secret off menu fried Foie gras). I made a vow to not go back for at least 1 year. Time to switch to Popeyes or some other local fried chicken provider. Unsweet tea cost pennies to make and there is no excuse for serving old tea. Went through the drive through and paid almost $5 for two unsweet teas. Got out in the road and tasted it. It was sweet . Turns around and went back. Got unsweet but it was old and couldn't drink it. I am not one to ever give reviews, but this location has exceeded my expectations and more. The team was closing down cafe and locking up when I walked to the entrance. The manager let me in and greeted me with kindness and a great conversation. You can get good food anywhere you go, but amazing customer service like this is hard to find. read more

If I could give a lower rating than 1 star, this place deserves it. Today I drove into the drive-thru (mind you I am a very frequent customer of this location, and have experienced problems before, but have tried to give the benefit of the doubt. But I'm done with that today!). As I pulled up to the speaker, I got a "Welcome Home, How can I help you today" as I always do. I started my order, got through it, got my total and was told to pull around to the first window. As I pulled my car up to the first window, the young lady taking my card was noticeably sick, or upset. She apologized as I had to wait for a good little while for her to process my payment. As she was reading my order back to me, she apologized again and told me that she just wasn't feeling good and had been vomiting all morning. I then asked why she was still there, and she responded saying "My manager hasn't asked me to leave". Obviously the young lady didn't know about foodservice requirements and policies under the law here in North Carolina. As a long time foodservice manager, I am just questioning how you could let an employee who is vomiting in the restaurant continue working, knowing that it is against the law for them to be on the clock, or around the food. This manager, whoever they are should be fired for letting this happen. We are in a freaking PANDEMIC right now, this girl is throwing up, sick, and it's obvious that she isn't well... and you keep her around my food as it is being prepared? If I get COVID19 within the next couple days, I am going to be looking directly at Bojangles for justice. NOT ONLY IS THIS MANAGER PUTTING THE CUSTOMERS AT RISK, THEY ARE ALSO PUTTING EVERY EMPLOYEE AND THEMSELVES AT A VERY HIGH RISK OF CATCHING A VIRUS. This is not okay, when there ISN'T a pandemic happening. Right now, in these times, this is really dangerous. In my own personal opinion, this is borderline criminal and I can only hope that some kind of management sees this review and handles the Manager that was on duty on January 25th 2021, at around 10:30 AM. I am very displeased and WILL be calling the corporate offices tomorrow in order to file a very serious complaint. I will also be calling the Catawba county, or lincoln county (?) health department over this, and I will make sure that someone takes care of that issue before I bring my business back to Bojangles. This is devastating to me because I look forward to a steak biscuit on monday morning, to get my week started. But after seeing someone sick like this young lady was, and being made to work around food that I am going to be digesting, it is just a very disturbing issue, and I think that if I don't say anything I would be allowing someone else to walk right into a deadly virus without any notice that they are in danger. I've been a number of times now, and I have realized I need to learn from past mistakes of waiting in the drive-thru for 20 plus minutes is simply not worth it any longer. It is sad that twelve miles up the road in Lincolnton is the five star example of an expertly managed BOJ. From opening day, the Hwy. 16 & 150 store has been a prime example of how not to operate a BOJ. Long drive thru line does not indicate busy, just snail speed service. Inside service is even worse. If BOJ execs would EVER watch their security cams and see the percentage of customers leaving both inside and drive thru without ever ordering, I feel sure they would be shocked. This BOJ is a common joke in the community due to obvious mgmt. problems. Since opening, there is finally a fast food place that is more poorly operated than the KFC/Taco Bell a short distance away. read more

Wife and I went to the this location today for breakfast hoping customer service here would be better than the beyond horrible service at the other location here in Denver at hwy 16/73, and it was no better at all. Again no greeting other than is this for here or to go. Then when the food came it was placed on the tray and pushed across the counter at me with no thank-you or offer of any condiments. I had to break into a personal conversation between two employees to ask for a packet of mustard to go with my sausage and egg biscuit. I don't understand why Bojangles has bins full of mustard, ketchup, mayo, hot sauce ect if they are not going to offer any to the customer. If you keep them behind the counter because your afraid people will steal them, then you need to ask each customer if they want any mayo, mustard, ect. Bojangles used to be my favorite fast food place for breakfast, but the customer service here at the two in Denver are beyond horrible and the food has gone down hill to the point I will ever eat at either of the Bojangles here in Denver again, especially with Dick's Café a few miles up the road in Newton. We have tried this BOJ several times. I will spare you story from a morning breakfast visit that almost sent my husband to the hospital. Tonight, we waited over 10 min in the drive thru for a supremes meal and a grilled sandwich combo. The manager was being rude to the employees, who were all high school girls. I only saw 4 people total. I had to go in to get an extra sauce and told the manager she needed to check her attitude. Being short staffed is not a reason to be rude to your employees! After several poor experiences, I think we will just drive the extra distance to Lincolnton or Newton. I feel bad for those girls tonight! read more

My cousin and I are the only 2 in the restaurant and we've waited for chicken strips, a biscuit, and some coffee for 20 minutes. Upon walking in, we noticed a lady complaining she had been there 30 minutes waiting on food, however we brushed it off as an isolated incident. Clearly it is not. It's been a while since I patronized this restaurant. In the beginning when they first opened, they were extremely slow & rarely got an order correct. Well, I can tell you that they have really turned it around. Ordered a box of chicken & due to the car in front of me having such a large order of all breast meat, they ran out & could only give one breast. It was end of day so not too bothersome. What they did next really redeemed them. The manager offered several other options & when I asked to sub tenders & she gladly agreed. They also offered a free drink while I waited. To my surprise, when the meal came, the breast was included. Turns out the car in front of me didn't actually order as many as they thought. The tenders were also included as well as some Bo berry biscuit's for the mix up. Wow, great customer service. Will definitely come back to this Bojangles in the very near future.
