Husband and I decided to stay in and just get a couple sandwiches. There was a Subway close by but I opted to go for a drive to Jimmy Johns. Besides, I love the tuna sandwiches on their wheat bread. I added the sprouts, to me makes a big difference to the taste. I wish they offered sliced pickles on the sandwiches but they don't. Request the spears on the side but they forgot to add them in my Togo bag. My husband ordered the #10, Roast Beef sandwich on a sourdough roll. Both sandwiches were amazingly fresh. Give Credit for outstanding service. Been awhile since I've been in a Jimmy John's although I have been to this store before. I have to give them credit for fast service and being a well run, highly organized store. Walked in at about 12:30 and the store was swamped. Still I was at the counter is a little over a minute and picked up my #5 Vito Combo at the other end about 3 minutes later. That said, while I give them high marks for service and speed, quality and accuracy are another matter. Sandwich was extremely dry with little moisture or texture. A combo comes with chips and when I got back to my office, there were no chips and checking my receipt I could see where I was definitely charged for them Speed and service are great but it would not hurt to slow down just a little bit and get things right. read more

I visited this location after getting a massage at Zen Massage right next door. Since it was a good massage (tough to find), I was in a relaxed mood. Take this into account. When I approached Jimmy John's for my post-massage sandwich, a girl was sweeping out the front door. I was paying careful attention to see if she would greet me or get irritated because I was messing up her sweeping. She said, "Hello." Not a Lionel Richie-like "Hello..." Just a simple greeting. When I entered and ordered #4 with a pickle cut in half, I looked for the credit-card swiping machine, but no luck. At this location, you must hand your card to the cashier. No big deal, just letting you know since it's one of the few differences I can find compared to other Jimmy John's. I mentioned to the cashier that I swipe it own my own at the Huntersville location (in a friendly way). With pride, she stated, "I've never been to the Huntersville location, I only work at this Jimmy John's." The sandwich was ready in no time, and it was correct. I ate it on the way home while driving down I-77. The taste was slightly different from the Huntersville location but mostly the same. I would recommend this Jimmy John's, and most (not all) Jimmy John's. It's also a great place to snag some napkins for your glove compartment. Jimmy John's is my go to lunch on Friday's. Mostly because I only have 30 minutes to scarf down food, they're close by my work, and they're freaky fast! The girls are the checkout know my order before I even get a word out. Guess that means I'm a regular that doesn't vary her ordering habits. Lol I'm cool with it. I stopped in today to grab my usual and OMG they changed their menu! Well, sort of. They added some new stuff, like they have sliced pickles for sandwiches and the sprouts are back. They also have a kickin' ranch dressing that is delicious! Dip your chips in it, you won't be disappointed. The numbering of the sandwiches are a little different but overall they still have the same basics like the Country Club, Veggie, Tuna, Roast Beef etc. You can now get a 16 inch sub as well, which is pretty cool if you're super duper hungry or wanna share with a friend :) The bread is always fresh. The wheat is my favorite but I'm partial to the unwich(lettuce wrap) because I'm doing this whole low carb thing. Never had any issues with my order being messed up or not receiving any items. But I also usually just grab and go and check before I leave. They offer catering here, as well as delivery. The delivery radius is small (2.5miles) so if you're not close by delivery isn't an option. read more

Today I stopped at Jimmy Johns for a quick dinner. The service was fast and the employees were friendly. The problem I had is this, I ordered the J.J. BLT which advertised (almost as good as my moms) and I couldn't believe that the girl making my sandwich didn't bother to heat up the bacon, she slapped 5 very very thin slices of cold, flimsy pre-cooked bacon on my sandwich. (gross!). I didn't notice it when I was in the shop, but noticed it when I was driving home. While sitting at a stop light I was thinking to myself, wow! They made that quick! I didn't notice that they heated up the bacon, so out of curiosity, I checked and sure enough, cold, flimsy pre-cooked bacon. I'm thinking, even subway heats up the bacon! I thought that this sub would be better than subway but shockingly enough I was wrong. I had to heat up the bacon when I got home and since there was only 5 very thin pieces of bacon, my sandwich tasted mostly of lettuce! Yeah even the tomatoes were so tiny I didn't even really taste them. I couldn't believe that a sandwich place could actually mess up a BLT, but this place seriously failed in the BLT department. One would think that the J.J. BLT signature sandwich on the menu would pack that sandwich with hot bacon like they advertise and like my "mom" would, but nope, only 5 pieces of cold, flimsy pre-cooked bacon is their idea of deliciousness. I ordered Jimmy John subs for my kids, as they only eat meat mayo and bread no add on's like lettuce tomato etc. Since it's a plain sub, which is what they eat, called a slim sub, they refused to put mayo on the sub and gave mayo packets instead. What kind of place does that to customers. My own sandwich was regular and came with all add-ons which I also don't use but they were able to put mayo on my sub since it's 2 dollars more. I just don't know who operates this place but I'm starting to realize why they go out of business left and right. It's almost dumbfounding how idiotic a business can be ran. I will never go back here, Jersey Mike's or Subway is a better joint these days then Jimmy Johns hands down. read more

I've been going here more frequently when I'm on the run and the customer service really stands out. I called for take out one day and my baby was asleep in the car (FINALLY!) so I asked if they do curbside service...they don't BUT, when I pulled up in front, they were at the door waiting for me. I ran up to the door, swapped food for credit card and was back in the car in 60 seconds and able to keep baby w/in a few steps. Straw in drink, extra napkins in bag, everything good-to-go. This is the worse service ever. We ordered from the website, and everything went through perfectly. We ordered 4 sandwiches, and 4 drinks as well. We were charged taxes and fees, and were told it would be delivered. However, we waited almost an hour for the food. When I called, they said our order is complete, and waiting for us to pickup. I told him it was supposed to be delivered. He asked for our address, and after giving it, he said they will not deliver it. He claimed that they will not do it because how far we live away. But on their website, it clearly says that they will deliver to us. We are less than 2 miles from them, and ended up calling to have a place on the other side of them deliver to us. They are bringing it from over 2 miles away. The man I talked to was rude on the phone, and disrespectful. Not only would I not order from them again, but I will never even eat in at Jimmy John's. The food should have been delivered, since the site said they would. Especially with how much they charge for Subway quality food. If not for my brother having surgery recently, and me needing to stay, I wouldn't have even ordered from them. Know I know never to again. I recommend ordering from Marco's Pizza. Their pizzas are great. Their sandwiches, not so much. But better than Jimmy John's. read more

Giving the restaurant 3 stars because of their "freaky fast" delivery area. I'm 1.7 miles from the restaurant and they will not deliver here. The kicker is that if the house was on the street that goes left instead of the street that goes right they would deliver. Huh?? When I arrived to pick up my large carry out order, they had forgotten the chips and couldn't provide a drink carrier. It is really sad because they are fast with delivery and the food is good. I had an experience today with the delivery person from the Williamson Road location that was not professional. I was signing for a co-worker and felt uncomfortable putting a tip on the bill. The delivery guy yells at me as he is leaving, "Thanks for the Tip!" I called him back in and was going to explain myself and the co-worker showed up to get her food. She did however leave a tip but the devivery guy continued to defend himself by stating he has to pay for his own gas. I find this rude and wonder where is customer service anymore?????
