Got there around 1:30 pm and was a bit surprised. Based on the number in cars in the parking lot, I expected a less than full house. Not sure where they parked but restaurant had a very good lunch crowd. Walked in and was immediately seated and my server took my drink order. I just ordered my regular Unsweetened Tea with Lemon. Before I ordered, I asked if I could substitute beans for the rice. Funny thing being that while I was raised in the South, never acquitted a taste for rice. Was told I could which is what I expected so I went ahead and ordered. For my main, I ordered a Steak Quesadilla Fajitas along with the beans in question and Crema Salad. Did not have to wait long before it was brought to my table. Started with the customary Nacho Chips and Salsa. Nice bit of heat but not overpowering. Portions are generous and the food is excellent, Nice and hot right out of the over. The Steak Quesadilla Fajita was excellent thought a bit greasy. The beans were very good and not cooked to a mush and the Crema Salad was nice and fresh. I took a little of the Salsa along with a bit of my Salad added it on top of the Quesadillas. Made a nice compliment to each other. My server was excellent and did a great job. She was there whenever I needed her and out of sight when she was not. This restaurant in tucked into a little strip mall next to a Food Lion. Very clean and well organized and from what I could see, very well managed. Will be back to try other things on the menu in the near future.

The chips were cold and hard and the cilantro on everything tasted way more like parsley. Sad to give a bad review but with service charges it was close to $50 for two plates that were sub par! So first, my burrito... I'm so used to burritos ultimately tasting the same no matter which one I choose, just different meats really. My son enjoyed the Chori Pollo, though we're discovering more and more that he...just doesn't really like tortillas. That said, he loved the filling. Methinks next time, we go for the Black Bean Bowl, which is essentially the same thing, sans tortilla. Then my daughter... When those Steak Nachos came out, I thought to myself, "There's no way in hell she finishes these..." and this was true, because they were huge and she is small. But just barely true. If you look at one of my other reviews, this is apparently my daughter's indicator that something is REALLY GOOD to her. I'm guessing this is a family-run business just based on the staff I saw and they just knocked it out of the park with each item we had. This doesn't make sense; Doordash charges a maximum of 6% for pickup orders, and we ordered for pickup. I initially questioned their pricing because they charge almost $6 on Doordash for a 3.5oz cup of guacamole, and iirc around $4.30 after tax in restaurant. It was over a dollar upcharge. When questioned he said that it was because of the pricing of the 'best,' avocados (I work at a grocery store; our current cost for one avocado is $0.60, so I find that incredibly unlikely). The man was stammering at the end of the interaction, which further solidified for me that he was being dishonest. All that to say, you shouldn't support a business who is dishonest about the way they conduct their business, especially when they do so in an economy where people are struggling generally; my recommendation is to give your money to a place that doesn't lie to their customers.

I've been looking for a…read morefood-service job for a while, Indeed is pretty unusable nowadays, so I was super excited to get an opportunity to interview. They texted me the link to schedule an in-person, so I scheduled for 4:00 p.m. earlier today. Keep in mind, I'm 25 minutes away from this location, and don't have a super expendable gas budget because I've been looking for a job. My girlfriend and I drive to the store, and I go inside to tell the cashier I'm here for an interview (she was super friendly and helpful), she hands me a cup and I sit down to wait at 3:59 p.m.. I wait until 4:06 until I text my girlfriend, "I'm still sitting here waiting, I'll get up and ask if I should reschedule at 4:10." So 4:10 rolls around and nobody has came up to me. Looking around the dining room I see four people sitting in black shirts. Now, I actually worked at another Five Guys location a few years ago, so I know that those shirts mean that they're managers. I'm just looking around to see if anyone's coming, and none of them would made eye contact with me. I go back up to the counter to ask the cashier if another time would work better, and she says, "okay, let me go double-check." I wait another five minutes until I realize that none of the managers here were going to speak to me, and I walk out the door at 4:15 p.m.. If you're going to post on Indeed, you should probably interact with the people you schedule interviews with, or maybe take 4:00 p.m. off the list of availability. It was very disrespectful to both my time and budget, and I regret giving them my energy. I wouldn't recommend working here.
