Unfortunately cannot not give them zero stars, that's what they deserve. Place an online order tonight at 5:35 PM and was told order would be ready at 6:15 PM. When I arrived was told order was not ready yet so stepped aside and waited. Waited 30 MORE Minutes, watching people who walked in well after me order, get their food, eat it, and leave. At 6:45 when I asked about my order was told it was not yet ready and cancelled and walked out. Wasted 1 hour and 10 minutes of my time, my gas, and got nothing. If I owned this franchise the manger on duty would be immediately fired for incompetence. Unacceptable and will never spend a penny here again read more

Five Guys in Huntersville, NC has the best burgers and fries! It's always clean and the staff is attentive and fast. When I want a real burger, made with topping I choose and no artificial crap I come here. My stomach thanks me later. Sick of the artificial crap from other food places. Five Guys never disappoints. The burgers are very tasty and the fries are abundant and good. The service is always great. Staff is very friendly. When you order each burger has a number so you know which one is yours. You can grab as many peanuts as you would like. Whether you are waiting for take out or eating in the restaurant... peanuts are available. The vibe is very casual. It's never too loud. There are plenty of tables and chairs. We typically will go the takeout route. I have always recommended 5 Guys. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. read more

As is the case with any Five Guys, they are good and have the process down! This location is now my "home base" for ordering in the area. LOL! The burgers and fries are always on point, order is always correct and I leave satisfied! Staff is always great and welcomes you upon waking in! Love 5 Guys and this location hits the mark. Burgers are always fresh and they get my order right every time. I love that they make a fresh order of fries when you arrive to pickup an online order, opposed to having the fries sit in the bag and get cold. everytime I come to Huntersville I do a mobile order here. always made right and people are friendly

The managers are incompetent and rude to guest and employees. I called to confirm that my online order had gone through with the correct pickup time because of an issue with the app, and during that call the employee Luka kept talking over me and saying i need to call customer service line. I was finally able to explain to him that I needed to be sure the order wasnt going to be made immediately and only at the pick up time. He said he'd ask a manager to which I hear him ask and is dismissed by said manager (no one would give me her name to report her) saying i cant do anything about that. To Luka obviously doesnt know what to do other than to hang up on me. Overall, the managers are rude in-person and the employees are just as incompetent as Luka was on phone. Hope this reaches corporate as theyre number doesnt work and this store needs re-training on customer service, hospitality and a general run down on their jobs. read more

Rude employees- constantly talking loudly and not working. Sub-par poorly prepared food when there are 5 people behind the line doing nothing but yapping about football and baseball. Ordered a double cheeseburger, when it came out, looked like a semi had run over it. Employees remade it the 'proper' way but not after a unpleasant and unprofessional back and forth from some of the employees. When that craving for a fresh grilled-type hamburger hits, I'm looking for the closest Five Guys. Luckily, I was close by this one yesterday when that urge hit! It was around 12 PM, & the lunch rush from Presby Hospital & the Reese Blvd. business park had not arrived yet. I was able to walk in & place my order immediately. As with every other Five Guys, the friendly employees greet you before you even get to the register. Yesterday, I got my usual: little bacon burger with ketchup, mustard, pickles, & jalapeños. Within about 6 - 7 minutes, I was on my way with my glorious burger. The place was very clean, high sanitation grade, & the drink area was free of clutter & trash. There's plenty of seating & lots of windows for natural light. I love that you're able to see the "kitchen" area all out in the open. You can watch them cook & prepare the burgers & fries. read more

I've had my ups and downs with Five Guys, but I have to say that this one really made the grade. Located in Torrence Village (across from Publix and Harris Teeter), you can't miss it when you pull into the strip mall. Parking can be a bit crazy, often around lunchtime there are many that are parked parallel in the back on an unmarked curb. The restaurant decor is the typical Five Guys "Our burgers are the best burgers that have ever been imagined" posters and newspaper clippings, with accolades from every venue of media on the globe. They are quite proud of that burger, like it's bordering on clinical. To each his own, I just always judge the product a bit more critically when places do this. Put your money where your mouth is! The service is superb here. Employees that actually want to be there, management that is actually working the line and communicating with staff AND customers. It's like every pre-notion about fast food has been flipped upside down. I ordered the "little" Bacon Cheeseburger (ain't nothin' little about it) and a side of fries. While still pricey, you are getting a good bit of food. The 'small' fry is indeed served in a 'small' fry container, but the cooks always dump a good 2-3 pounds of extra fries in the bag. Again with excellent service in mind, the time from ordering to receiving a made-to-order, heavy bag of food was about 7 minutes. Starting with the fries, they were piping hot and seasoned well. Not overbearingly salty and not too oily, just right. Also, they seem to only use salt, no other fancy seasonings, which is fine by me. I'm by no means a fry purist, I always dip my fries in something, which is why I'm glad they only carry Heinz ketchup. A+ on the fries. On my burger, I ordered Lettuce, Tomato, Mushrooms, Cheese, Grilled onions, and Ketchup. Compared to my last experience at Five Guys, this burger was much, much better. This is exactly what all the over-sized magazine covers on the walls and television quotes are talking about. Perfect medium-cooked patty, toasted eggy bun with a generous helping of melted cheese, a really juicy & thick slice of tomato, and just the right amount of onions, ketchup, and mushrooms. The patty was an absolute star here. Only one issue on my burger was a miscommunication, I asked for grilled onions yet the onions on my burger were raw. Not a huge deal as I love onions, but their raw sharpness didn't work well with the rest of the profile. Still a great burger. Please, take note if you come here and indulge on the free peanuts they offer that this isn't a Longhorn Steakhouse. Some dude, not sure if a jerk or just incompetent, was shelling peanuts and throwing them on the floor. They.... don't do that here. Awesome experience here, I left satisfied and a little less annoyed at all the self-acclaiming decor all over their dining room. read more

We happened to get off the expressway to avoid a slowdown of some sort, and while bypassing the slow part, we stopped for lunch. Five Guys in NC was just a pleasant as our regular Five Guys in Michigan :) Our burgers were all delicious, and we usually share an order of fries. Slowest five guys I have ever been to. We ordered on a Sunday afternoon around 2... to go. There were not that many people in the restaurant. We were 4th in line and that process took long as well. All told, it took almost 20 minutes to get our food after ordering. Ridiculous. And no one apologized. Will never return. read more

They're known for their fresh cut (and the known origin of) fries. They are actually listed as having some of the most fattening and high calorie fries across america - but, I suspect that's solely because of the massive quantity they give you with a regular/single serving. For anyone wondering, they cook them in peanut oil. They also provide free peanuts to eat while you wait. Though, if you have a child with nut allergies, you'll need to steer clear for both of those reasons! Beep beep beep... What's that?!?! Oh, it's just the dump truck backing up to dump the small order of fries you requested. All of the food here is served in a classic paper bag - whether it's for eating in or to go. That's just how they do! So at the bottom of your bag, you'll find your glorious and hearty burgers individually wrapped. Usually, on top of those, you'll find a plethora (yes, I just used the word "plethora") of fries. So, they have these decently sized paper cups which they use to scoop up your fries so you get a heaping cup of fries... BUT WAIT... THERE'S MORE! They then dump another heaping cup on top of that. Sure, you're left with a lot of fries all over the bag, but who in their right mind would complain about that. Afterall, you cannot really have too much of a good thing when that thing is fries! But note, two or three people can share a single order of fries. You can order the burgers with really as many smotherings and toppings as you'd like. I prefer meat, cheese, bacon (extra for bacon), lettuce, tomato, pickle and ketchup. They can be a little greasy, but many of the best burgers have a little extra grease to help them go down. And if you're a weirdo like my husband - who has a preference for Pepsi products so he can get Mountain Dew - I have to let you know they only have Coke products. The music is so loud you couldn't hear people at your table talking without yelling. I know it's a burger place but it was a bit ridiculous that they were blaring Alice n chains music so loud. There was no one else dining in the restaurant but it was still a long wait for a burger and fries. I've been to Five Guys before but never this location. I always enjoy their burgers. The little cheeseburger is huge and more than enough food for me. The small fry is large enough to feed three people. Large portions and great food. Burgers cooked to order with fresh ground beef a good selection of toppings and fresh cut fries on the side. What's not to like? The Five Guys founders knew what they were doing when they started this booming franchise. Simple and fresh will win the day as "burger" will sell itself when done this well cause American's love a good burger! Good burger place. I stop here everyone once in a while. Reminds me of burgers that you would make yourself. But the best part is that you don't have to make it. It's not fancy just basic goodness. Pick your own toppings and you can have as Ann as you want. Burgers have good flavor and feel that you get a lot for your money. If you get fries, be aware that they also give you a scoop for the bag. Don't know why but that's just the way they do it. Also they have free peanuts to eat while you wait. Again just a cool thing. You really can't go wrong with their French fries and a double patty cheeseburger with bacon and grilled onions. Add some barbecue sauce if you're feeling fancy. I'd recommend a small side of fries though - you'll still get a bag, but instead of it being as big as your head it'll be about the size of your fist, give or take the average fist size. read more

It's been a long time since I've visited a Five guys. When I entered the 1st thing I noticed were the peanuts, but I figured I should at least put in my order before I dive in. The ordering process was typical. It didn't take long for our order to be complete. My burger was cooked well and was correct howeber, it lacked flavor, like the basic salt. The fries were as delicious as always, fresh cut overfilled fries. Even the small is too much. We split our fries between the 2 of us. We are Togo and filled a back full of peanuts before we left. These locations seem to close down often. Probably because of the high prices. 2 burgers and fries came to over $20, but there's nothing like them. read more
