One of the worst most chaotically run places anywhere. Homeless camp behind this Bojangles in beautiful downtown Madison, Tenn., and during my last visit several seemingly homeless men came straggling in with outside food and outside drink cups. Staff ordered the guy with the drink cup to leave but there were at least two other homeless folks inside, not ordering, not eating, just hanging out. The staff was beyond incompetent, with the person doing the ordering looking at her phone and not seeming to understand what was going on. You have to see this gross, horrible place to believe it. I am only reviewing the service today. Maybe it's just that I'm from California, but everyone in Tennessee is so nice and helpful.

This Bojangles sits on the corner of Gallatin Pike and Garver Avenue in Madison and for the most part is your standard Bojangles location. We recently moved to the East side of Nashville and this Bojangles is the closest to us, so we make our way over on the weekend mornings for breakfast consistently. While I cannot speak to the upkeep of the inside, the exterior/parking lot are never very clean and always seem to have heaps of trash strewn throughout the lot and landscaping. The building itself is in good condition and is holding up well, but they need to work on cleanliness. Food wise, we usually go with the Chicken Biscuit, BEC Biscuit and some Bo-rounds. While the BEC and Bo-rounds are always on point, the quality of the chicken biscuit tends to fluctuate. I have had meaty, crispy and hot chicken as well as flat, rubbery and warm. Service in the drive thru has always been decent. Nothing special, but nothing terrible. Not noteworthy on either end. Overall, its Bojangles and we get what we expect honestly. read more

I would leave no stars if possible. Customer service is absolutely trash. Rude, had to ask for a spoon, had to ask for napkins, nothing is out for you to get in the dinning area. When asking for anything you get a younger woman who rolls her eyes at you as if you're interrupting her day. I like no jangles, but I will not return here if the food was free. Warning! Unlike the other reviews about this Bojangles location, my order was correct, timely, and came out hot and fresh. Unfortunately my dining experience here was tainted by the presence of an aggressive panhandler standing right at the counter! While the employee who took my order was courteous and advised me not to give anything to the panhandler, management did nothing to remove the solicitor from the premises, and I saw him try to hit up on every patron that came in after me... read more

This was the worst experience at a Bojangles I have ever had in my entire life. And I've ate a lot of bojangles in my 48 years of living. I went and decided that I wanted to order. First I ordered the bo's chicken sandwich, and this was the worst chicken sandwich I've ever placed inside of my mouth in my lifetime, it was the most driest chicken sandwich and is was not crispy at all. I asked for mayo on my chicken sandwich and they did not add my requested mayo, and this chicken sandwich was so so soggy and watery. As I was eating my chicken sandwich it was falling apart into my mouth because of how soggy and watery this was. And it did not taste like chicken it tasted like the most horrendous hamburger meat, and there wasnt even any HAMBURGER meat inside of it. I also ordered a side of fries, but I couldn't even bring myself to eat them because I was so disgusted by the chicken sandwich. I also brought my 11 year old daughter with me and she ordered the kids chicken legs meal, and she started out with eating her Mac and cheese, and she had told me It tasted horrible and it was not a normal Mac and cheese this Mac and cheese was super super watery not baked or normal just complete water cheese, and didn't even have a lot of noodles it was practically and Mac and cheese soup! She could not even eat more then 2 bites then she moved on to her single chicken leg, and there was brown parts inside her chicken leg not to even exxacurate there was a spot of mold in her chicken leg. and it was super super dry, then she moved on to try her buttery biscket and she said it was the worst bisckit she has ever ate, it was not buttery or creamy like the biskets usually are it was also very dry and you could tell it has been sitting around in a dish for the whole entire day it also was not flaky like usual it was not even crumbly like normal ether it was overall a horrible meal and the milk also tasted like it has been sitting outside the fridge the whole entire day! overall my daughter hated this meal and I also hated my meal it was horrible. And that is such a sad thing to say because me and my daughter love Bojangles. I felt so bad and such a shameful mother for even having my daughter have a bite out of her food it was a disgraceful meal. I hope it was just a one time thing or the location because me and my daughter love the food but this meal was not it! I dont think we will be going back to Bojangles for a long time. This is hands down the worst Bojangles I've ever been to. Being from Charlotte, NC I know my Bojangles. I've been to this location maybe 7 times since moving to Nashville and the food is NEVER ready. They literally tell you to pull up so they can bring you food even though no one is behind you. FYI, that's just so it doesn't look like they had long lines or wait. This is beyond poor service. Well this will be a short review.... we stopped by at around 5:00 last night to eat and were told when we approached the counter " if you are ordering chicken it's going to be 20-25 minutes" Do you serve anything besides chicken? Did you not think that at around 5 (the average time for dinner pretty much anywhere) you might have customers who might order said chicken? We were the only customers inside and only one car in the drive through ... yet the employees acted as if they were inconvenienced by our audacity to even walk in the establishment. The line supposed to hold the sides was disheveled and most of the expected sides were missing. The floors needed tending, and the employees appeared "over it". I understand that it's hard to find good help these days, but this kind of failure is not just an employee issue. It is certainly a management issue. The owner of this restaurant and the franchise need to evaluate the entire staffs ability and motivation to do the jobs for which they are being compensated. Your investment is being wasted by the failure of your staff and management to provide even the most basic service to your customers. The attitude portrayed would make me think twice about trusting my food preparation, especially something as volatile as chicken to these people. Worst Bojangles I have ever visited. If the food and service I have experienced at other locations had not been better, or if it was my first time going to a Bojangles.... it would have been my last. It never fails that every time I go to this restaurant they are out of chicken. For the life of me why doesn't a restaurant that sell chicken never have chicken?. Then I feel like they try to discourage you from ordering chicken by telling you that it's a 30 minute wait and they will have to open 2-3 packs of chicken. Had high hopes for this location. Visited about 7 times and this morning was the last. Yelled at by the person taking my order, hollered at by the person at the second window, made to wait 10 minutes for food. Stated that bo'rounds were going to have to be cooked and it would be about 4 minutes. Waited 10 minutes, bo'rounds were not freshly cooked when I received the product. I worked in the food business for many years and this was pretty bad. It would be better to close than to make this impression on customers. The service was terrible. The girl taking my order had a nasty attitude. That's not even the worst part. When I started to eat the chicken I bit into a VERY bloody piece. It was so disgusting, I threw up immediately. Even thinking about it now makes me feel so sick. Always check your food before eating it. It took 21 minutes in the drive thru (2 $5 boxes) The place was full of employees, but they lack basic comprehension skills. I watched them redo a lady's order several times, because they couldn't get the number of items right. Please hire quality over quantity. This was the worst. Have gone to this location multiple times each time they have a different excuse as to why they can't serve us. Once they said that they were closed, mind you it was the middle of the day and all of the lights were on and staff inside. The second time they said that it would take too long to make the food. Then recently they said that there was a chicken shortage and they could only sell us three meals and no family meals. I love Bojangles but this location is the worst. I went there on my lunch break, and left without food and with a refund. Terrible service. I work just 2 blocks away, so I thought it would be a nice quick lunch. I ordered a chicken sandwich and fries. When I ordered, the person taking my order told the kitchen to drop fries. I go and sit with my co-worker. I hear again from the kitchen someone saying to drop fries. After 15 minutes, the person taking my order goes and drops fries because nobody had done so. An additional 15 minutes later, I still have no food. During this point, someone did check on myself and another customer that ordered fries. Then another worker brought the other guy his other food while he waited. Could they be bothered to let me have my sandwich in the meantime? I suppose not. 5 minutes before I have to be at work I go to get a refund. They tell me they have my food ready, but by this point, I wouldn't even have time to eat it. This is absolutely ridiculous service and by FAR the worst service I have ever had at ANY restaurant. Additionally, I didn't even get a full refund. I handed the manager my receipt, she read it, put it in, and it came up less, she read it again OUT LOUD and still gave me the lesser amount. read more

Unfortunately this is the worst Bojangles I've ever patronized. I was excited to see that there was one coming to the Madison area (there can't be too many), but I was quickly disappointed by the speed of service and food. Somehow things taste different here. The roasted bites lack flavor, the biscuits are overdone, the chicken is a bit greasy and also lacking flavor. I'm not sure how this chain operates but something went wrong in the training. I will probably check in again at some point since it is convenienly located, but will do so with extreme cautioun. Hopefully they can get it together. read more

On this day, 2/10/18, I came in to place a to-go order. The place was not crowded. Only about seven people and two of them were already dining at a table. The rest of us was waiting on to-go orders. The service was very slow. They seemed unorganized and had run out of a lot of items. It was just 10:30 in the morning. How could they be out of anything so early in the day? There was one employee up front working hard to get the orders prepared and kept calling for items from the back that they were out of. The employees in the back couldn't get certain items prepared fast enough and this caused employees to get snippy with each other. All of this and there was hardly anyone (customers) in the building. If a large crowd had suddenly shown up, they would have been in serious trouble. For the few people inside, and a couple of cars in the drive thru, it took way, way too long for me to receive my order. read more
