And the host was the one who circled back to help me in lieu of my waiter, which was not seen until my food was brought out. They were both friendly, but not exactly efficient. I started my meal with queso, because it is basically law when eating at a Mexican restaurant. Sadly the queso was super bland. I ordered the Pollo Bandido, which is essentially chicken and queso with the addition of mushrooms, and sided with rice and beans. The queso did not do much for the dish flavor wise, but the chicken and mushrooms were well cooked and seasoned. Beans were solid, but the rice was undercooked or old, as the texture was tough and almost crunchy. Given the delays with service, I opted to just eat the beans and main portion of my meal.
