I was in the area on an errand and decided to pop in here for an early lunch. I wanted my favorite, the 3 Wing Dinner with Season Fries, but no luck, they had no wings ready. So instead of an early lunch, I settled for a late breakfast. I picked a breakfast item that I've never had before - their Cajun Chicken Biscuit - and actually went with the combo, which added Bo-Tato Rounds and a medium drink. The cost for the combo was $7.19! This was a very tasty, very hearty meal, and at $7.19 it was clearly a value. The Chicken Breast was well sized, and loaded with flavor, reflecting the Cajun seasoning of paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, celery seed, salt, sugar, and red pepper, most likely cayenne! This combo topped my usual choice - Bacon, Egg, and Cheese, and I'll definitely try it again, and soon! read more

Service was terrible I went through the drive through and got someone else's order and when I came to bring it back the service from the manager and staff on duty was terrible I waited 25 min to even get talked to about the situation. She said everybody in the drive through was more important and I had a guy in line infront of me walk out because he wasn't talked to at all and has been there longer than me so this whole store needs a whole re evaluation in management and staff! read more

Disgusting interior with incompetent staff. The drive through attendant was rude, cut me off mid sentence, then walked off for several minutes. 6:45pm. I went inside and was greeted with blank stares on several occasions. The employee serving me was more focused on her phone conversation than her job. No pies at dinner time either. "Boy get the fuck on" seemed to be the reply I got from the kitchen when I mentioned my disappointment quietly to my wife on the phone while I was standing at the fountain. I lovee me some bojangles, but i would NOT recommend this location. I gave it tooo many tries and its just time to part ways. I ordered a Cajun biscuit which was $4.48 after tax and I also asked for 1 honey mustard at the speaker but worker was rude and cut me off before I finished saying that. I pulled around to the window and paid and I checked my bag before I left to make sure I had my honey mustard sauce and it wasn't in there. Let me start by saying I like chicken from Bo but there are several issues. The first is the price of 3 wing dinner. It's really not a dinner with small wings the cost should be about $5. The amount of chicken is a snack. Sides are cheep so the price of 3 small wings will buy a whole chicken in Costo and Sam's. Once I placed the order I waited at least 30 minutes. The wait is related to not enough staff. You have essentially 1 person working the drive in and the front counter. One person cannot serve fast food because a wait of more than 10 minutes is unacceptable. Lastly they did not have a Bo Chicken Sandwich which means the manager did not order correctly based on recent sales. If fast food is costly and time consuming you will see customers take their money elsewhere. read more

On 7/30/2024, I went to store # 000156 at 7:20 pm to order chicken supremes and asked for a fresh order because the ones that were sitting out looked dried out. Another employee came up to assist and packed my order with the old chicken and when I told him I was waiting on a fresh order, he shoved the box to the side as if he was aggravated. I was also met with a bad attitude from the cook. He obviously did not want to be bothered. When my supremes came up, the cook didn't have the decency to let the cashier know so they just sat there getting cold. Once I received my meal, I was given cold fries and cold, hard supremes with no biscuit which I didn't realize until I got home. This was a waste of money because I couldn't eat the food. I called the store but not even the manager cared enough to apologize. I will not go back to this Bojangles. Some of the people are rude and don't give good customer service. Wish I had read the other reviews before I went. Was in W/S today to drop off Sunscreen Samples for testing and was in hurry to get back to Statesville. Spied this Bojangles and pulled into the drive through. A bit busy but I can wait a bit. Finally got to the speaker and placed my order for two steak biscuits and sweet tea. Drove up to the window, paid my money and was then told that they were going to have to cook my steaks and would I please pull forward and wait at the front door. Note that they told me after I had paid. Pulled up to the front door and waited.... and waited.... and waited... etc. After over 5 minutes I gave up and drove away. Great way to increase profits in charging customers for non-existent products. Zero raw material costs and only labor cost is 30 seconds on the speaker. I will admit. I have a problem. I love Bojangles. Pretty much everything they serve, I love. Biscuits, chicken, tea, sides. . . awesome. This was my first visit to the Stratford Rd. location. The service was slightly more than what you'd expect from fast food. The servers had manners and used them (imagine that). The food took a little longer than usual consider my order wasn't complicated but when I saw the fresh fries pop up in the window I figured it was worth the wait. The fries were crispy and hot. I wanted a bit more cajun spice on them, but otherwise they were delicious. The Cajun Filet biscuit is pure perfection. Crispy, slightly spicy, breaded chicken filet sandwiched between two buttery, flaky, crumbly biscuit halves. Om nom nom nom. I threw in an extra Sausage Biscuit today. The sausage patty was good with a little kick and, like the Cajun Filet, surrounded by the biscuit heaven. I can't think of anything that will keep me from returning to Bojangles. Having been away from the area for quite some time, when I travel in the south I make it a point to swing into as many Bojangles as possible as there aren't any in South Florida. Thus I see a fair amount of different Bojangles locations...with that said, this specific location would rank in the lower ranks of any I've been to date. The facility has taken on the appearance of the neighborhood apparently, (which is run down, unkept, dirty). Broken equipment like trash can receptors, table tops, dirty floors and bathrooms, and slightly unorganized staff (although they are friendly and food was consistent). Bojangles still has good food, but facilities and upkeep is important. So owner, spend some monies updating and cleaning, better training and management and you would have higher ratings. read more

Waited 30 mins in line inside the restaurant. Disrespectful employees and they have no sense of urgency. After waiting in line for 30 mins, I waited another 20 to get the food. I was ignored several times. A person in front of me also waited forever and asked for a manager. They refused to give him a manager and told him that it would be coming out soon. While I was waiting for the food 3 different people came in wanting a refund on their food or items were missing. I saw three employees that were either just standing around doing nothing or on their phones. I was delivering for DoorDash and the customer was getting upset and I completely understand. What has happened to this bojangles?? Literally took 15 mins in the drive thru for one biscuit combo. They are not friendly and not customer oriented-no good morning -no thank you -basically irritated to even be having to take your order. The inside is always a total mess -unclean tables and condiment station is either empty or sticky from teas and sodas. They never clean this up. We were also told at 9:30 pm (they close at 10) that we would have to wait outside (they locked the main doors) while the manager counted the till because he couldn't have guests in the restaurant while he was counting. This Bojangles had some of the worst service I've ever seen at a restaurant. We spent 5 minutes trying to explain our order, and during that process, they constantly interrupted us and took our order incorrectly several times. If that wasn't bad enough we pulled up to the window, and they didn't even have chicken. What kind of a place that specializes in making chicken, runs out of chicken. So we were told to wait for 4 minutes for them to finish making it, so we did. Then 15 more minutes passed until they came out to tell us they were running "a little behind". Obviously, you can imagine our frustration at this point after waiting 19 minutes for something that should've taken 2 seconds. But here's what takes the cake. We waited 16 more minutes for our food (I was counting at that point), and when they finally brought it out, the employee just set it in our car window without letting us get a handhold on it first, and in the most insincere way possible said "It was my pleasure" as they walked away. We waited in the drive thru for 25min from start to finish with only 2 cars in front of us, it took at least 5 minutes to get our after we go to pick up window, with no cars in the parking lot and only 2 or 3 people in the dining room. A chicken restaurant without chicken-not sure how that works but that is the norm. I recommend always going inside to order. Drive thru is slow and if they have chicken to serve you there's a good chance it's not fresh. At one point they also had a very low sanitation rating so check that too. Took orders for about 10 people and I think they had three staff members trying to get it all ready in addition to the drive-through. Gave multiple chances to change my opinion. Sub-par everything! Have driven away from drive-thru line twice due to more than 15 minute wait and line not moving. Went in dining room one time and an employee locked the door so no other customers could get in because they were too busy. This was at 7 in the morning. Tried Bojangles for the first time last month when we were visiting my boyfriend's family. Bomb-diggity. It definitely lived up to their reputation! I got the cajun filt biscuit (I typically don't even LIKE biscuits, and I loved this one). They also asked if we wanted to add on some bo berry bicuits and my boyfriend went for it.
