    Single Burger

Went on a Saturday. The drive from Raleigh was smooth. Got there about an hour after opening. Had the single burger, the hot dog, onion rings, sweet potato fries and a Mello Yello to wash it all down. The food takes a minute cause everything is cooked to order. The bathroom floor was wet, but otherwise clean. The floor in the main part was slick, but that could be due to the humidity. Everything was hot and tasty. The onion rings were golden crispy and the onions smashed into the patty were so goodThe food, the decor, the great customer service...will say it's definitely worth a stop whenever you're in Wilmington!

Heard of this place so I had to check it out. Had to get the Oklahoma burger which is the patty cooked with onions on it and served smashed style. I got the double patty which some fresh jalapeños, chipotle aioli and pickles. Was a good size burger and something on it had quite a nice kick, could've been the jalapeños which I enjoyed. Plenty of seating outside along with a patio for warm sun. Loved that many of the toppings were not an additional charge. My wife got a single patty and we split an order of the large fries which had BBQ mesquite seasoning on them. Fries were meh, very small pieces and lacked flavor. I definitely recommend getting the double patty, only a couple bucks more and enhances the experience of the Oklahoma burger. Good counter service, they were patient with any questions, definitely glad I had this food.

This place is not worth the money in my opinion. The fries are not that good and neither are the sweet potato fries. The burgers are ok they aren't a wow factor. This place was definitely way to over priced and I could have gone to a fancy restaurant for the price I paid for 2 adults and 1 kid to eat here. The total was $71. Really the only thing that was good was the Shake I got.

I visited Oklahoma's on a Sunday for lunch when both my boyfriend and I were craving burgers. Surprisingly in Wilmington, this was one of the only burger specialty places open at the time. We checked out their menu online and everything looked delicious so we headed over. Oklahoma's is in the Barclay area shopping center, so there are a lot of other restaurants and businesses nearby. There was plenty of parking available. This place is tucked away in the back corner and there is both indoor and outdoor seating. When you arrive to the restaurant and walk in the doors, the ordering stand is right in front of you. There is a menu on the wall and you are to place your order make your own drink, sit down, and then they will call your name when Your food is ready. This place pretty much only has burgers and fries. You can choose between regular french fries (they're skinny!) with or without their special barbecue seasoning, or you can choose sweet potato fries. Both are great. The burgers are smash burgers. You can select one patty, two patties, or three. They are thin and crispy. There are plenty of toppings to choose and sauces to put on your burger or order on the side. I saw when I was in the restaurant that they recommended a pretty basic burger, but the options are essentially endless. My boyfriend ordered a milkshake, which is one other menu item they have. I'm not a big milkshake person, but I will have to say, the one we had was absolutely delicious. Overall, while this is not the best burger place on planet earth, I really did enjoy my dining experience and look forward to returning!

I walked in and was greeted with a smile. The people are very nice and quick with getting your order. It's not too loud and crowded, but there is a little bit of a wait. Now for the food, I got a double cheeseburger with onions and fries and it was super good. I also got a Oreo shake and it was soooooo good.

This place has amazing food. For the price you will pay food it should not be thrown into the bag and there should be napkins considering how greasy the food is. If this was McDonalds I wouldn't complain but -a $45 meal for 2 people should be a little more presentable with better customer service.

A double cheeseburger with onion rings is fit for a king. Don't forget the sweet potato wedges with cinnamon. Add a 12oz shake for dessert.

We were next and got the last table for two. The place was completely full. After reading the menu, the daily special was 1/2 price burgers. They also gave first responders 20% off on Mondays. They have specials every night, so it is worth it to check that out before coming in. We started with a basket of hush puppies and corn muffins with yummy molasses butter. If you get in between 3:30 and 5pm, appetizers are 1/2 price Monday through Friday. I can see why this place is so busy! So I decided on a burger, who can pass up half price day? And we also got the knuckle sandwich, which was 20% off for first responders, so my hubs got that. Off to a good start. Also tried fresh squeezed lemonade, really delicious and fair priced. The burger and the sandwich were huge, we both had to take half to go. You get one side for $1.50, but added sides are $4 each. Still ok since the prices are good. There were charges for the added bacon and cheese on my burger but still at half price, it is a great deal. The restaurant is very rustic, pub atmosphere and very relaxed. The bar was completely full, so that must be the highlight of the restaurant. Looked lively and busy. Service is very good, the servers come back to check on you often. Chloe was very sweet and attentive. The only disappointment was dessert. We chose the cake of the day. It was chocolate Bundt cake with cinnamon frosting. To be completely honest, it tasted like boxed cake mix and canned frosting. It was very small, so I knew it was probably cake mix. There was nothing special about this; it was also pretty dry. Even if they purchased their desserts from a local bakery, it would have been better than what we got. I won't say avoid all their desserts, but I wanted to point out the cake specifically. So overall: The prices were excellent, food and service is really great, and the pub atmosphere was nice and comfortable. The plus was that on a busy night, we didn't wait for a table. They do not do reservations so prepare to wait, or just go earlier. I would definitely come back here, and enjoy some more of the large menu. 5 stars

We arrived at the restaurant at 5 pm, shortly after they opened to discover that they didn't even have an inside table that would seat seven. They had one table closest to the door that appeared to be a table for four but had six chairs tightly squeezed in. Our only alternative was to eat outside in 95 degree weather. One in our party even got sick while there due to the heat. The food was average but I wasn't happy that we were misled... When I asked the hostess, she stated, "We told you we'd TRY to accommodate you." If you have a party of more than four, look for another restaurant.

I ended up coming here twice in two days--once to try the NY Chopped Cheese and then again to try…read morethe Philly Cheesesteak. Let's start with the chopped cheese. As a New Yorker, I was excited to see it on the menu. And let me say this first... the sandwich was delicious. I cleaned that thing up and didn't leave a single crumb behind. The flavor was on point. Here's the only issue: it wasn't really a chopped cheese. Instead of using chopped ground beef like you'd find at a New York bodega, it was made with sliced steak. I asked the owner about it, and he explained that they used to make it the traditional way, but they switched because the ground beef would dry out by the time customers got it home or had it delivered. Using steak keeps it much juicier. I told him, "Then it's not really a chopped cheese anymore... it's basically a Philly cheesesteak." He laughed and said, "No, our Philly cheesesteak uses different meat." That caught my attention, so I said, "Hold up... you have an actual Philly cheesesteak too?" He said yes. So naturally, I came back the next day to try it. After trying both, I can honestly say I liked the "chopped cheese" much more. The Philly cheesesteak was made with Steak-umm-style beef, and unfortunately it was a little dry. It also could've used a lot more cheese (or cheese sauce) to bring everything together. I didn't complain because everyone has their own way of making things, and I respect that. But here's my opinion: if they simply renamed that "chopped cheese" sandwich to their Philly cheesesteak, it would be one of the best cheesesteaks around. In fact--and this is just my opinion--I think it would give J. Michael's Philly Deli some serious competition. At the end of the day, that's just one New Yorker's opinion. Go try it for yourself and let me know what you think!

Such a unique and different menu we started out with the Big Wes Lil' Weiners which was 4 smoked Jalapeno and cheddar sausages wrapped in an empanada crust served with an arugula chimmichuri dipping sauce. So innovative and delicious, sauce had a bite to it and the sausages were juicy and crispy with the empanada crust, highly recommend. I wanted to house made roast beef only available on the weekends but it was sold out, no surprise. Opted for the Ghostface Fillah instead.
