    Dirty, chipping paint

Disgusting interior with incompetent staff. The drive through attendant was rude, cut me off mid sentence, then walked off for several minutes. 6:45pm. I went inside and was greeted with blank stares on several occasions. The employee serving me was more focused on her phone conversation than her job. No pies at dinner time either. "Boy get the fuck on" seemed to be the reply I got from the kitchen when I mentioned my disappointment quietly to my wife on the phone while I was standing at the fountain. For dietary purposes, I can't have sugar. The labels on several of the drinks were missing. The food was just okay compared to better Bojangles.

Excellent customer service and hot food! Everything tasted delicious and it appeared the people making the food really care about the customers. Great job!

Having been away from the area for quite some time, when I travel in the south I make it a point to swing into as many Bojangles as possible as there aren't any in South Florida. Thus I see a fair amount of different Bojangles locations...with that said, this specific location would rank in the lower ranks of any I've been to date. The facility has taken on the appearance of the neighborhood apparently, (which is run down, unkept, dirty). Broken equipment like trash can receptors, table tops, dirty floors and bathrooms, and slightly unorganized staff (although they are friendly and food was consistent). Bojangles still has good food, but facilities and upkeep is important. So owner, spend some monies updating and cleaning, better training and management and you would have higher ratings.

I had to give 5 stars because, not only was my cajun filet biscuit delicious, but also because the guy at the drive-thru said "It's Bo time!

It's sort of Italian and sort of steak and sort of a little bit of everything. Really clean, strait forward , reasonable menu, nice ambience. It feels kind of high end but the pricing is definitely mid range. I selected the tomato basil soup as my appetizer. It came with a nice toasted crustini. It was a really good soup. It tasted fresh. It had a lot of body to it like, maybe they did the tomatoes here in the house from fresh. It was definitely tomato. The basil was kind in the background, but it was a true red sauce. It was almost tomato paste or tomato sauce flavor. I would've not complained if they given it to me over a bit of penne.. It had a really nice flavor on it not too sweet not too acidic really a very good soup. It came out in a footed coffee cup so you're getting about one cup of soup. The main course was the broiled seafood platter. It was anchored by a large piece of mahi-mahi, that was amazingly well prepared, firm and tasty. To the side of that was a wonderful crabcake, one of the best I've had anywhere and definitely the best in the Carolinas. It did not have too much breading and it had a wonderful texture with lots of good crab flavor. Drizzled across all of this were scallops and shrimp. The shrimp were a little overcooked if you asked me. The scallops were sweet and perfect and everything you would want them to be. The side that comes with this is their crab fries which essentially our beer battered french fries dusted with old bay seasoning. If you've ever had the crab fries at the Philadelphia, ballpark, this is the way they do it. For dessert, I ordered the lemon cello mascarpone cake. It comes drizzled with raspberry sauce. I had visions of lemon curd, and what I got was really good and really lemonade and good cake. But it's not a very big slice. I know about the weight staff. I don't know if they're all good, but mine was exceptional and lovely to talk with. The place was very busy. It had a nice vibe to it, it could've been in South Beach or Miami or Los Angeles, not that it was over over the top just that it was very clean and nice and well done. This is a professional restaurant not some amateur attempt. I recommend it.

We started walking around and my wonderful wife suggested Copper Penny. Absolutely! There was a short wait for a table, but we didn't mind. The inside is almost like we remember it. We did notice the menu is a lot smaller. The last time we dined here was around ten years ago. Definitely plenty of options. We went with the onion ring appetizer, Cobb salad, and the BBQ Burger. The atmosphere of Copper Penny is the same. Definitely missed this place. After a short wait our food was brought out. Everything was delicious. This is just an update, but we still love Copper Penny and will continue to return.

Very good and the fries as well. 3. Hot Roasted Pork Sandwich was very bland and had an excessive amount of spinach. Even the Au Jus couldn't rescue this sandwich. 4. The famous onion rings. Well they must of ran out of seasoning because these were more flour than flavor. Very doughy with no spices. Not worth the $9 * The alcohol mix drinks are pretty good. Definitely taste the flavor of each. Will give you a good kick.

A casual, but upscale option in the MJ area is a great choice for a weekend brunch or nice night out. 421 is not open for lunch MON-THU, so don't make the same mistake I did and think it either was closed for business or very unpopular... it is open and very popular with daily dinner specials.

Instead, we were left sitting there waiting. We eventually had to go back to the host stand and ask for someone to come help us. I believe the manager got involved and sent out an appetizer for us, which we thought was a nice gesture. Our waitress then came over. After waiting so long, we already had our full orders ready to go. From there, we continued to have various issues and often had to remind or prompt our waitress about drinks and other things we needed. At times, we had to repeat requests multiple times. She brought out dinner rolls with strawberry butter. We weren't really sure about the strawberry butter and requested regular butter instead, but after waiting another 5-10 minutes, we ended up finishing the bread anyway, especially since everything had already been so delayed. Finally, our meals came out. My smash burger was fine overall. It had decent flavor, although a couple bites were a bit salty for me, and the fries were also somewhat salty. As the restaurant started to clear out toward the end of our meal, things did begin to improve, but it felt like too little, too late. It was really disappointing because the other reviews spoke so highly of this location, and unfortunately our experience just didn't match up.

This restaurant isn't in the best part of town which I knew from reading comments online and I know the area well. I purposely just told my wife I was taking her to a secrete fried chicken place but when we pulled up she refused to park. From the outside it appears to be a run down fast food shop. Anyway I went by here today solo while on lunch. I work downtown and it's often hard to find a cheap and quick lunch spot that's not over crowded with people trying to do the same. Despite the location and physical appearance the restaurant was very crowded. I ordered a four-piece wing combo with fries at 1:30. The gentleman who took my order told me it would be 15 minutes. There weren't any open seats so I went to wait in my truck. After 15 minutes I went back inside and still waited another 15 minutes before my order was ready. This is clearly a community and family restaurant. While I waited I got a chance to check out all the baby pictures on the wall and socialize with all the other families waiting on their order. Overall I enjoyed my fried chicken but I don't understand what the hype was about. Yes it's super cheap. My order was $5 including tax but the wings were small and barely had any meat on them. I will be back but next time I will order a breast or thigh and not come during peak lunch hour.
