Iv ordered thousands of dollars from them over the years, it was a small mistake he refused to correct I ordered by1 get 1 free rice with a upgrade from uber he said he dint see it so I said no big deal as I paid for 2 and one should be free, I said you can owe me one rice. He rudely goes take it up with uber I bought it from them. How can a personal this niave be in buisness uber doesn't care about customers so I offered him a solution as a great customer he refused. The food here is signature Chinese food I remember enjoying growing up. What I enjoy most from a restaurant such as this one is orange chicken with fried rice. This is my go-to dish when I'm first trying out a Chinese restaurant (unless it's super authentic Chinese food where that might not even be on the menu ). The service was expedient and efficient which created an element of convenience that I didn't forget (even though I'm writing this review a week after my experience here). The price was also unbeatable. Portion size was somewhat small but honesty, it would be worth it to place another order if I was hungry enough. The ambiance was quiet and a bit quaint for an early Saturday afternoon. This restaurant is modest yet excellent when it comes to fundamentals. Yum! This place was super good! My husband had been talking about it for a while because he often goes there for lunch during work. Today he needed me to drop him off some food because he was busy at work so I decided to give it a shot! I got the lunch general chicken with pork fried rice, which also came with hot and sour soup. While I really like the soup flavor and spice, it was more thick than I was used to it being, so just a preference thing for me. The chicken was really good! Food was definitely fresh and good! We ordered 6 pan fried dumplings, 2 wonton soups and 2 dinner combos that come with your choice of rice and an egg roll. My advice to the owners/managers would be put some pork and stuff inside your wonton soup. Once you're done eating the wonton's there's no reason to keep eating the soup. Also, don't be so stingy with the crunchy soup noodles. It's okay to fill the whole bag. If I order soup, I want a full bag of noodles. This looks like someone counted the exact number of noodles in each bag. Over all, a solid 4 out of 5. If they make a few changes I'd definitely say 5 of 5. Portions were big and plentiful. This is my second review because this place is so good. This is a takeout only place. There are seats but you definitely want to do takeout. The best Chinese food in south Florida without a doubt. They are quick and easy and the food is always ready when I am there to pick up. By far the best spot in town for Chinese and they also have sushi that is very good as well. Even though it can be a little hit or miss, Bokafresh is still probably the best Chinese restaurant (take-out) in Boca and Delray and while there is nothing unique in their menu, they do the Chinese-American mainstays better than other local restaurants/take-outs. Prices are very reasonable and it's a true mom and pop operation with a genuinely nice family running the business. Dumplings and Shu Mai were disappointments but these items really have to be prepared fresh when ordered and few restaurants (unless they specialize in dumplings) do this. No problems because on this order the Lo Mein was very good as were two chicken dishes. All were prepared with better quality ingredients than most local places. read more
