This is usual New York style SoFlo Chinese take-out on a drizzly Tuesday. I had always wondered about this place but the 1980's style wood panelling of the walls made me wait until I developed a mullet with a Heineken in hand. I played it safe with the beef and mixed vegetables combo dinner platter which comes with wonton soup and an egg roll. It was good -- not great though. A lot of authentic and legit new options are opening up around town aside from the normal heap of fried rice with skimpy portions of beef mixed into an assortment of vegetables. First time trying this place but still can't find decent Chinese food in Florida. Soup was bland with only one wonton in it? Egg rolls are horrible, don't order them. I have been to almost all the Chinese restaurants in the area and Orient Garden is one of the best. Strictly takeout and delivery. A storefront restaurant with very reasonable prices. I tried their Shrimp w. Garlic Sauce combination dinner. Includes Choice of Soup, Wonton Soup or Egg Drop Soup or Mixed Soup and Pork Fried Rice and Pork Egg Roll. The shrimp was a very nice portion and loads of flavor, It was full of shrimp and vegetables; mushrooms, peppers, celery, broccoli, and zucchini. Definitely will return. read more

I have been trying all of the local Chinese restaurants to find the one I will be using regularly as my GO-TO and I'm very picky when it comes to Chinese food. I had the lo mien and sesame chicken with a wonton soup. It was really good! The best lo mien I've had anywhere so far! Sesame chicken was a 9/10 it was pretty good! My kids ate it all up, we love Chinese and they will always comment on what they like and they all said it was the best so far! Delicious food, fast service, friendly staff. So here I am, a shiksa married to a Jewish man. I also hate the lead up to Christmas. This is important because-by Christmas night, I don't want to cook. I want to sit on the couch, watch the ice harvest and eat fried dumplings and egg rolls. Orient Garden is here to deliver! I mean, I picked it up because they were so busy on Christmas that there was no chance of delivery. Everything was perfect! Fried dumplings, mixed soup, pork fried rice, veggie Lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, general Tso's chicken, chicken egg foo young, egg rolls (don't you judge me, we like variety and leftovers!) The chicken was crispy where it needed to be, not dry or Over cooked, the Lo mein had a ton of veggies. The sauces were balanced. I'm pretty sure we'll be ordering from orient garden a lot more often. read more

2 Stars because the owners are super nice, kind and friendly. The soup and won tons were also delicious. The rice (both white and fried) were undercooked. The egg foo young was fairly tasteless, and didn't come with the usual thick gravy-- Instead it came with a container of thin soy sauce. The eggrolls tasted 'off', and had very little filling. The crab rangoon was overcooked, but the filling was very generous. The boneless ribs were cut in very small pieces, and tasted just fair. I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, the food just was sub par compared to what I am used to. read more

I just found this place in the area (Parkland, Western Boca, Coconut Creek). I believe this a relatively new (post Covid) restaurant in the area. It is definitely family owned and operated. All I can say is that you must try this establishment! I am originally from NY and have traveled extensively throughout Asia. I know good Chinese food. The quality of the food from Orient Garden surpasses any take out restaurant in area. Pricing is extremely reasonable. They also deliver within 3 miles for a far more pleasant experience than the "national" delivery programs. More importantly, they focus on quality because it builds loyalty. read more

Not exactly the warm and fuzzy front desk that I would expect from a new restaurant but it's quick service and delicious food. Family owned. Reminded me of my parents place growing up, kids helping out the front while parents cooked and prepared in the back. Tried a vast majority of things on the menu and there wasn't a thing I didn't love. Pad Thai is delicious (makes Chow Thai across the road taste like a joke, this one is 10x better), Mongolian beef is outstanding these are my two faves here. The Orient Garden's inside make it look like it is only for take out, there is no ambiance. Overall, I was not impressed with the food. The wonton soup was good. A little sesame oil really helps the flavor. The egg rolls were overcooked and lacked filling. The fried dumplings should not be deep fried and need some meat. The dumpling sauce and hot sauce are fine. The bbq spare ribs have a good flavor. The sauce is excellent. There is not a lot of meat and the film on the bottom of the ribs is inedible. The fried rice is dry and is only good with the rib sauce. The vegetables in the Roast Pork with Mixed Vegetables were good. The roast pork itself is passable. This sauce does not help the fried rice. As I stated in another review, I am from New York City (Manhattan) and this food does not qualify as good Chinese. read more

The sauce on the ribs was amazing and plentiful. Rib meat was of great quality! The soup was so flavorful with scallions, and the wontons were delicious! The egg roll was different than most places, but so much BETTER! Homemade duck sauce was really good! The fried rice and beef with broccoli was cooked perfectly, and still piping hot! 2 days in a row I have ordered delivery from here that's how impressed i am. So, I'll start with the price..truly cannot be beat! My mom and I ordered 2 small dishes and an appetizer for 21 dollars! We were hooked because it was delicious and delivered not even kidding in 10 min. The next day, we had family over and decided to order from here again and a meal which is usually $90 was $50 and beyond delicious!! Yummy yummy. I tried this place because it had good reviews and was near by. I ordered delivery of sweet and sour and general tso chicken lunch special with pork fried rice and diet cokes instead of egg rolls. Lunch portions are huge and you get tons of rice (just look at the photos!). The delivery man was super nice and had a big smile on his face. That's always a good thing because many delivery drivers are just blah. I'm super full and satisfied and I'm going to order from here from now on. On a whim I decided what better way to celebrate am Christmas with my cat than with some Chinese food. I found this place online and placed my order. I drove to pick it up and waited outside for about 45 minutes till I FINALLY got my food. Based on the no communication long long long wait I was all set to say something scathing, then I ate my spare ribs. Pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste. Particularly when compared to the mediocre Lucky Palace. The Fried Rice, Beef Lo Mein & Wanton soup all taste fresher than LP. AFAIK, Orient Garden is the only Chinese in Boca that has Szechuan Shrimp as a Lunch/Dinner combo, let alone as a menu item. The portions are also ample. I refuse to return to Lucky Palace.
