I was skeptical initially about the portions, but the bowl was a pretty nice size for what it's worth. All the elements of the bowl itself were fresh and had different flavors which I enjoyed. My only critique is that the food I agree with others is a little bland and could use more salt/pepper. But otherwise, service was friendly and quick too. This Bolay has been halfway decent since they've opened. There's been a few shortcomings. At one point my wife got a blond hair in her food... took a while for us to come back after that. I would say about 20% of the time the order is wrong or items within the order is wrong. Overall the food is still great quality. And it's healthy man, you can't knock the hustle there. I do know a lot of us at the gym stopped coming here when they dumped basmati rice, it's the only white rice that is low glycemic meaning it won't shovel fat into your blood stream and will actually hang out to be burned off for a while. I have to give credit where it's due. Since my first visit, I avoided them for the longest time since they gave me a small bowl but I ordered a large. This was an online order. I kept running into people raving about them so I caved and gave them another chance but stood in line and ordered in person. They definitely deserve five stars. Their food is so fresh and flavorful. They have extremely generous portions. I don't feel guilty eating here. The place itself looks great and the service is good. I usually get a large bowl. For the two bases my favorite options are the potato noodles (which they are currently out of until next month, bummer) and their kale salad but sometimes I'll get the cilantro noodles. For the two veggies I like the mixed zucchini and the broccoli. For the proteins I get the shrimp and lemon chicken. The tofu is good too. I get both the cilantro and spicy sauce. This meal is a 5/5! They also have one of the best chocolate chip cookies. This is one of my favorite spots in Coral Springs. They're so consistent and it's nice to have a delicious healthy option. I usually like coming to this location however today was sort of hectic. They cater to vegans on their website yet they had cross contamination by getting cheese in the tomatoes. The sneeze guard for the food has a gap in it which so happens to be child height size (kids get sick the most often) and one was coughing nonstop through the guard on the food. After voicing my concerns and having to waste food due to the cheese contamination, I was told to get back in line by the manager to have my order remade. They have tons of staff and no one walked over to help me, I was just standing there. It was awkward and confusing with unnecessary steps to get my food. The person who could not help was Brianna, not sure if she has any experience in customer service, but absolutely unpleasant to speak with.
