We've been here a few times and it's always very decent although not incredible. The first time we went the food was really good but they just kept forgetting to refill water. This last time the steak was overcooked a lot. We asked for medium rare but we got medium well. We asked for lemons for the seafood and they didn't remember. Just little things. The server was nice though and I do appreciate when you see management also on the floor helping out and making things run smoothly, checking in on guests, making sure it is a nice time for everyone. Too bad he also forgot lemons It's an elevated bar ambiance, and they do have a full patio. They have private dining room areas and the bar is almost a wrap around. It's nice but not exactly fine dining even though the prices reflect that.

My husband and I tried Runyon's for the first time last weekend for his birthday. I made reservations through Open Table and was asked for my husband's name. Upon arrival to the restaurant, we were greeted and sat immediately. It is quite a bustling, loud venue with live music. We would have preferred a more intimate, quiet setting, but we did enjoy the singing pianist. The servers (there were two for us) provided two menus, one regular and one daily menu. It was cool that they added my husband's name to the birthday list on the menu! We brought our own special Stag's Leap bottle of wine, which the servers gladly opened for us, with a $35 corkage fee. Hubby ordered a side Caesar and the ribeye with veggies and a baked potato with sour cream and horsey sauce. I ordered the French Onion soup and the 10oz Filet with veggies and mashed potatoes. My husband said the Filet was the best he'd ever had, and I agree with him. It was perfectly aged, seasoned, and you could cut it with a fork it was so buttery. Speaking of buttery, the mashed potatoes were decadently creamy and paired so well with the steak. Hubby's Ribeye was very juicy and had a nice crust on it as well. It was a huge portion, too! We had a birthday slice of cheesecake which was also excellent, and I'm very picky about cheesecake. Overall it was $350 out the door for the two of us soup to nuts, but it was well worth it to us for a special occasion to have amazing food in a romantic and lively upscale setting.

Came here for dinner with friends and we were lucky enough to get a reservation for a table in the piano bar. Runyons has been around since 1984. They are located between Coral Springs Dr and University on Sample Road in Coral Springs. There are a couple of restaurants in this plaza but there's plenty of free parking. Entrance is through the patio. They are known for their 40 ounce Prime Rib. Unfortunately they don't offer anything smaller than 16 ounces and if you want to share that 40 ouncer it's an additional $13 which makes just shy of $100. Still not terrible for 2.5 lbs of beef. We had a great table right next to the fireplace and it was the perfect location to hear the music and still have a conversation. We started with Hummus and pita. This was a nice smooth creamy mix of chickpeas, tahini and a hint of garlic and lemon. My husband and I shared a chopped salad. A nice selection of lettuce with heirloom tomatoes, crisp bacon, and blue cheese. Sharing this was perfect since it's large. I had the Chicken Francaise. The Chicken was so tender and the lemony wine sauce was delicious. It came with fresh string beans and carrots and linguini. My husband had the Shrimp Scampi and the garlic butter made the dish. Such a nice evening. So unique. It was crowded, had really nice nostalgic vibe in a cozy, intimate atmosphere. The food was very good, but the pianist was the star of the evening.

Prime rib warning: call ahead to reserve yours! We ate at 6:00pm on a Saturday & 2 members of our party (6 of us) could not get the medium rare prime rib they wanted. My end cut was excellent though! Almost an inch thick. So - we went to Runyon's for meat. Prime rib, steaks .... For that, 5 stars. But if you're looking for a gourmet meal, try somewhere else.

So happy to find a great place in Coral Springs. We went to this place for happy hour--great times from 3-6, even on Saturday. Perfect parents' after-work getaway with lots of places to sit. The vibe and atmosphere are so nice, and they even had live music. Their martinis are amazing! I had the grapefruit and cucumber martinis--both tasted very good and were made with quality ingredients. I wasn't hungry, so I only had one item from the happy hour menu, the Prime Rib Sliders, which were so delicious. Our bartender, Ricco, was very nice and funny. This place has a great atmosphere, drinks, food, and service. It will definitely be my favorite place to come!

Great food, great ambiance, and great staff. We have been going there for twenty years and it doesn't disappoint! The steaks are always cooked to perfection, and the onion soup is fabulous. Worth the trip!

Been wanting to try Runyon's for a while, and after a nearby doctor's appointment, the timing finally lined up. I arrived early... around 4:30-ish... and the bar was already almost full. I was lucky to grab a seat. From the moment I sat down, it was obvious this place has a loyal following... and I mean loyal. The cross-the-bar banter, the familiarity, the way everyone knew each other... this is a real community spot. In some places you might feel like the outsider thinking, "How'd this guy get in here?" Not here. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely warm. A great group of people to talk with. Add in the atmosphere of this iconic Coral Springs steakhouse... family owned since 1984... and I immediately knew I was in a special place. Kiana, the fantastic bartender, let me know it was happy hour, so my drinks... ulitmately a well-made Margarita and Sonoma-Cutrer Chardonnay... would be half off... a nice surprise. For food, I went with the Onion Soup and their Prime Burger from the regular menu. The onion soup is a good one... rich broth, excellent cheese. The burger was prime beef and excellent... fries were basic, but very good. Then a piano player started playing and singing, which completely elevated the vibe. The main dining area is connected to the bar where I was sitting, and there's also a quieter dining room for those who prefer a more traditional setting without the music. Loved it here. Can't wait to come back and try their famous Prime Rib. You can't just open a restaurant like this... places like this develop over time. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

To preface, we have never been here this is our first experience and it hasn't started off well. We came already knowing what we were going to order 100% in advance. They have a pop up on their homepage that literally says full menu available but surprise - only a limited Mother's Day extortion menu.. We came expecting things like chicken parm, a Caesar salad which salmon or even the smaller sized fillet. Flat out told us that the menu is subject to change then why have a pop up saying that? She finally finds something else that she likes on the menu a chimichurri steak and surprise - sold out but they only opened like not long before we got there. We ended up leaving and canceling our appetizer orders . . . Disappointed is an understatement!

9/13/2025 Runyon's restaurant is a supporter of St. Patrick's Day (due to an owner having Irish heritage, I think). Sure it serves up the best steaks around but it also cooks three (3) St. Patrick's Day dishes in its annual "Half Way to St. Patrick's Day" celebration being held this year on a Saturday 9/13/2025 ... that's today. Corn Beef&Cabbage, Pot Pies, Irish Stew and Guinness stout beer. Always a fun time!

It was our first time at Divieto ... although my husband thinks we've been there before. (Ummmm,…read moreno, no we haven't.) Anyway, in any case, we enjoyed it thoroughly, and that's why I'm doubling down that we haven't been there before - we would have been back! It was our anniversary and a Saturday, and fortunately we went early enough to avoid the rush. The hostess was lovely and, when I mentioned we usually like to sit at the bar, she said not to worry about our reservation and sit wherever we like. We ended up at a table because the bar was pretty crowded and we wanted a more quiet evening. So, Ben was our server and he was fantastic! He gave me a solid recommendation when I asked for his opinion, he was attentive without being a pest, and he had a great personality. I don't rave about a server, but he was a gem! We had a Caesar salad, spaghetti and meatballs and calamari. My husband said the spaghetti and meatballs were very good and the calamari was one of the best I've had anywhere - totally crunchy yet tender. (Thank you, Ben, for the recommendation!) The meal is served with a crusty bread and oil with balsamic, and I love a crusty bread. We were treated to an anniversary dessert of a brownie with ice cream, and who doesn't like that?! Anyway, it truly was a nice evening. I can understand why the reviews are so positive, and it's always a pleasant surprise when expectations are not only met but exceeded!

For dessert, the tiramisu was a favorite, while the kids were very happy with their ice cream! For a larger group, everything came out pretty well and we enjoyed the overall atmosphere. There were a few things that could have been a little smoother, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars, but overall it was a fun dinner and a good experience. We'd definitely consider coming back!

Both visits were for birthdays---the first was mine, when I happened to mention to our server that we were celebrating my birthday and she helped make the experience great. She then exclaimed, "You should have told me it was your birthday! We'll give you a dessert. Would you like to take it home?" Which I did, and the Seven Layer Chocolate Cake was thoroughly enjoyed for breakfast on two different days. I still can't get over the fudge layers in the sponge sandwiched by a light, creamy chocolate mousse. The plated cake was much cuter and better dressed with surrounding raspberry sauce instead of it being in a takeout cup, but the divine tastes of that cake are unchanged. Seeing that the majority of their locations are in the north, with the southernmost locations before Florida being Virginia and South Carolina, I feel lucky that we have a location in South Florida (and a second in Boca Raton). The hostesses are friendly, as well as the servers, and each one asks about allergies in the party. I saw on their website that they have a commitment to accommodating food allergies and a protocol for communicating allergies to the staff and kitchen. The most recent visit started with us repeating allergies to our server after telling our hostess, as he wasn't informed of them. It never hurts to confirm that everyone is on the same page but it was a little odd. I'm not sure what those purple allergy cards are supposed to do if they're not written on. However, like I mentioned, they are really serious about food allergies. When we were placing orders, our server would tell us whether there were allergens in the dishes we mentioned. Our server during my first visit even went back to the kitchen to check whether there were eggs in a sauce that were in one of the dishes we were interested in, without being asked. The inside is clean, beautiful and well lit, and the bar is spacious with plenty of screens if you're able to make it in for their happy hour at the bar from 3-6 PM on Mondays-Fridays. We had the guacamole and chips ($9), which had a surprisingly generous portion of genuine guacamole to the point where we ate all of the white and blue tortilla chips that came with it. I asked our bartender if we could get more chips by any chance, and another bartender heard and went straight to the kitchen and came out with a bowl of warmed tortilla chips. I had an Old Fashioned, which was slightly sweeter than I'm used to, but still having great citrus aromas. I recommend having a cocktail on happy hour as they are typically $15-17 on the regular menu while they are $10 during happy hour. For dinner during my second visit, we were seated in a lounge appearing area to the left of the entrance with long couches for the booth seats and an unfinished cut of wood table. Let me tell you about the food before I run out of space! Bread service: I know it's weird to have to pay for bread, but that's the restaurant world we live in. It's worth the $5 to get warm, fluffy bread dressed with everything seasoning and coming with herbed butter, pesto and an olive tapenade, all a choose-your-own-bread-adventure sampler. You can tell nothing on the plate came out of a jar. Philly cheesesteak rolls: Everyone can eat all 3 of the rolls that come in this dish along with the crispy onion rings that come on top of them. Resist the urge and share the tender beef and gooey cheese inside of these rolls. NY strip: Tender, well grilled and seasoned, accompanied by tasty green beans and mashed potatoes made with just the right amount of butter where you taste more potato than butter or cream. Crab crusted haddock: A generous portion of flaky, slightly buttery haddock with an aromatic crab cake on top. We loved the jasmine rice that came with it, from the degree of cooked to a little oil covering. Lobster roll: It was a summer limited item until August 31, and I'm sorry to say it was perfectly buttered, toasted and brimming with plump lobster meat. You were able to get it cold with a cole slaw, but a hot roll is definitely the move. Did I convince you to go try their food? If not, read this again. I'll see you there.
