Irecently went to the tequila pairing brunch at Bonefish Grill and overall it was a nice, chill experience. Service was fast and friendly, and everything came out right on time. The drinks were flowing all brunch and were really good (even though I can't remember exactly what they were ). The food was good not amazing, but still enjoyable. I remember an eggs Benedict with a crab cake on an English muffin, shrimp and grits, a goat cheese dish with bacon jam, and French toast with cherry sauce. The vibe started off nice with light music, but once it stopped, it got a little too quiet. Overall, a cool brunch experience definitely worth trying for something different. read more

So we had a late lunch at Bonefish Grill today in Coral Springs. Any of you foodies out there are likely familiar with this restaurant. The ambience is warm and inviting and most definitely family-friendly. There was a very decent crowd for a late Monday afternoon, thanks to their "Social Hour", which runs from 3:00-6:30. I might add. Mondays are also "Martini Mondays" at $5 per drink! Good deal for sure. The bread service, always included, along with the herbed oil dipping sauce was delicious I ordered the Mahi Mahi with a lemon butter sauce, asparagus and the "crispy cauliflower" - crunchy whole pieces of florets fried to a golden brown with a sweet and savory sauce that had a bit of a kick. I enjoyed my meal immensely. Unfortunately, the skirt steak my sister ordered was overcooked. However, our wonderful server, Lexi, remedied this issue immediately. The overcooked meat was removed from the plate, and a very accommodating Manager, Ernest, served up her second choice, Cod Imperial, stuffed with a variety of shell fish, covered with a creamy cheesy breadcrumb topping. This dish was perfect! We're taking out for our brother a Chicken Marsala, with oven roasted potatoes and grilled asparagus. I have no doubt it'll be delicious. We were too stuffed for dessert!!! The food was excellent...we had bang bang shrimp that came out hot and fresh, salmon with broccoli and rice, and a burger with broccoli. The service was ok, but things were very busy so understandable. They had an event going on with a musician playing so it was just louder than usual, and not the best music either, so not the most enjoyable experience in terms of ambiance, but they were able to seat us right away and let us know there was an event happening. We decided on Bonefish Grill for a birthday celebration. It's a very pretty restaurant. I appreciated the dim lights. It is noisy. The music is at an average level and the chatter adds to it. I ordered the mahi-mahi with lemon butter and the truffle fries. The mahi-mahi was overcooked, and the truffle fries were extremely salty. The other people I was dining with enjoyed their food so maybe next time if I order something else I will enjoy it more. The highlight of my meal was the flourless bourbon brownie, which meant it was gluten-free. It was delicious ! There's plenty of parking right out front. Wouldn't recommend for weekend brunch. I got the eggs benedict and they overcooked the eggs twice. Not like a little bit, like completely hard solid crumbly. The manager was polite and asked to try a third time but my daughter was already done with her meal so I declined. He told me they precook the eggs before the restaurant opens and then just reheat them to order. Is that how everywhere does it? So I absolutely adored their cauliflower bites but the shrimp toast was weird. I thought it would be just the shrimp on some crostini but it also had random avocados and tomatoes. It was like a cross between savory and breakfast. I also was really happy to try their lump crab cake, but whatever flavors were in it were completely demolished by their overuse of a mayo-based aioli sauce that was just covering every square inch of the plate. I was very happy with their martinis and I will definitely be back for the $5 Martini madness on Mondays, but the food was a bitter disappointment. I have dined at Bone fish grill several times but I have not ate during lunch happy specials. For starter we ordered the bang bang shrimp which is so delicious. I highly recommend going on a Wednesday because they have a special every Wednesday for $7. On Mondays they have margaritas for $5. Our server was named Marie and she was very attentive and provided great customer service. Marie gave us complimentary bread with olive oil. I ordered the lobster ravioli which is very delicious. We had a great server, Kimberly, who I think was trying her best but it was busy. I like their wall art. We went for Monday Martinis and had some apps and food. The bar must have been backed up because after we ordered at the table with our server using the electronic device, the food came out in about 25 minutes, before we got our drinks or even waters. The shrimp toast was good, but I don't know why they put tomatoes and avocados all over it. The cauliflower and chicken bang bang bites were delicious. Now the rest of the meal left a lot to be desired. I had the creamy tomato linguine and it was devoid of flavor. My companion had the fried chicken sandwich and it was just as bad. It's Friday and all I want to do is grab some tasty takeout and relax at home, watching 2-3 movies until I conk out. I remembered the excitement I had when I first dined at Bonefish Grill (Aventura location) 6 years ago. I loved everything about the experience - the casual ambiance, the well-prepared food, and the refreshing cocktails...let's see if I could relive some of those memories with this Coral Springs location. Since I was going for takeout, I had to enter through the side of the restaurant. It was a very small area with two long padded seats for patrons to sit and wait. A friendly female employee came over and placed my order for the coconut shrimp entree served with steamed broccoli and coconut risotto, and drunken coconut pie for dessert. The wait time wasn't long as another female employee approached me with my order in hand. Let's see what we have here...there was some hot bread in the bag...started eating that right away. The coconut shrimp was enjoyable...six large shrimp fried nicely with a crunchy coconut coating. The pineapple glaze used for dipping complemented the shrimp well. The broccoli was tender, just needed some light seasoning. First time trying coconut risotto and honestly I didn't like it. For me it needed something....some salt or something aromatic...it was really bland. The coconut pie was ok. In my opinion, I wish there was a balance between the coconut flakes and the custard, but that rum sauce added a flavorful touch to the pie. I definitely need a do-over with the coconut shrimp and coconut pie. I don't think I would try that coconut risotto again though. I'm looking forward on dining in on my next visit. read more

We arrived right before happy Hour was ending. We both ordered a pineapple drink and it was tasty. The bread offered was really good. It was served nice and warm. My house salad was very full with lots of croutons. This is not offered as an included side. I ordered the Chilean Sra Bass and it was so good. It was cooked just right. I usually order steak when I dine out. This was so good that I plan to order it in the future. Very little mashed potatoes were served but they were not good anyhow. The asparagus was really good. This afternoon I decided to dine inside rather than take out. Whenever I order takeout via Uber, besides the cost of the food, plus tip to the Uber Driver, etc., Bonefish Grill adds an additional $11.00, a so-called "service charge" for taking the food from the kitchen, placing in a bag and bringing it to the pick up area, The service charge is added on AFTER delivery! Anyway, I ordered the Columbian Crest Merlot, 9 oz, the Tomato Soup, the Salmon, a Cheesecake with an Espresso Martini. The food was delicious! The server was Lexi B. who was very good. Now, when I received my Salmon, I got my sauces a few minutes later. The only issue I had was later when I was given the check. Prior to ordering my dessert, I asked for a coffee. Then, when I saw the dessert menu I changed my mind on the coffee for an Espresso Martini. Lexi B. did inquire if I still wanted my coffee. I thanked her for reminding, but to cancel the coffee. As I was finishing my Cheesecake with Cherries and Cherry Sauce, i was presented the check. The check had the coffee listed on it for $3.00. After about a 5 to 7 minute wait, Lexi B. returned to the table where the leather/plastic check cover was open. She immediately said, "Oh, the coffee is on there! I will take it off!" Now, this may have been an innocent mistake. I have no idea. I only mentioned it because a customer should NEVER accept a bill without thoroughly reviewing it. read more

I stopped by on a Wednesday for lunch with my mom and sister and we were seated quickly. The hostess asked us if we wanted a table or a booth and we chose a booth. As soon as we sat done the server Mari asked us what we wanted to drink. We got a round of a cup of water and a coke. They make really good Sangrias here but I didn't want to drink today. Mari brought out bread and it was soo delicious and fresh. As for an appetizer I chose the bang bang shrimp which was super delicious. On Wednesdays they are on sale for $7 instead of $14. My mom chose from the lunch special which was a soup or salad, soda and an entree for $15.50. I chose the lobster ravioli from the regular menu. This entree was about $30 and it was super worth it. I love this restaurant and really loved my experience with Mari. She was super knowledgeable and sweet. I definitely want to go back on a Monday because they offer $5 margaritas. It's been a while that we've stopped at Bonefish. Going back definitely gave that nostalgic feeling. We made a reservation before leaving the house which was super convenient. I love restaurants that offer online same day reservations. Once we got there check-in was easy and we were seated immediately. The very first thing I always order is the sangria. Not pictured but it was so delicious that I had two glasses. We started with the bang bang shrimp which was amazing as usual. Next I ordered the burger from their Valentine's Day menu. Was surprised that the options were still being offered but definitely was not complaining. Also not pictured from the menu was the brownie with the pecan sauce. We usually really like the Bonefish Grill restaurants. We've dined here before but not for some time. The one we used to go to a lot was the one in Fort Lauderdale before they were closed. The current most visited Bonefish is now the one in western Lake Worth on the edge of Wellington. We participate in their Dine Rewards program, so we receive a lot of offers and have built up some credits. As we were in the area shopping, we decided to stop here for lunch. It was quiet inside the restaurant. There were only a couple other diners at the bar, one couple seated at a table in the bar area, and another couple in the main dining room. We got very good service, of course, as they were not busy at all. I thought they had a lunch menu, but the only menu we received was for their dinners. We decided to have a couple appetizers as we were not in the mood for a large meal. My husband ordered their signature bang bang shrimp. It was fine. I ordered their crab cake appetizer, and they were not good at all. In fact, they had the consistency of mushy shredded/minced tuna. There was no flavor of crab, even, let alone the "jumbo" crab that was indicated on their menu in the two small "cakes" that came in the order. This item should not be featured on their menu at all as it does a disservice to those options that are quite good here. How disappointing! And that's all I wish to say about that.... read more

Visited this restaurant on a Friday night and it was not busy. However, after taking our drink orders, our waitress disappeared and did not returned for a long time. We had to go looking for her and after awhile spoke to the manager who finally found her. She took our order and then about 10 minutes later came back and said the ticket was lost and asked us what our order was again. First off, about the drinks, we ordered the Wicked drinks - the green one was good - sweet but good, the pink one was not. For meals, we ordered the Parmesan crusted trout and the lemon butter bass - one of the bass was half cooked, so it was sent back. The trout was ok. Overall a satisfactory experience. read more

This flight includes the Pomegranate Martini, Heatwave Martini and their Seasonal Martini. For food, I ordered the bangin' chicken bites, the beef & cheddar sliders and the shrimp toast. Also there's a perk - if you sign up (email, birthday (is optional), zip code, first and last name) their parent company gives you $10 to use immediately as a reward!!! They finally come and take our order: kid mac n cheese w/broccoli side, crispy shrimp with french fries, parm-crested rainbow trout with mash potatoes and rice, creole pasta with salmon, and fish n chips french fries side. Service needs a little work in my opinion. We noticed a lady come in and sat in table next to us then immediately leave since no one helped her... Atmosphere is very chill here - literally. I like my air conditioned to like 72° but for some thats too cold. Bring a light jacket if you tend to get chilly. Food tasted okay. I would have liked my breading on the crispy fried shrimp to be a little less. The shrimp were jumbo though - I could only get through 5 of the 8 they included with order. Mac n cheese is standard Mac n cheese. My kid loved it. The fish n chips MIL ordered came out hot, delicious and crunchy - just how fish n chips should be. For FIL's pasta, we asked for sauce on the side since he doesn't like spicy. The sauce WAS a little spicy though. Like a medium kind of spicy. Pasta texture is good. It's been a long time since I eaten at a Bonefish Grill restaurant. The one close to home is ridiculously busy and there is always a very long wait. This night was meeting some friends at the one in Coral Springs. Definitely not as crazy as the the one in Weston. Our table was ready when we got there, and our server was very quick to get us drinks and bread. He was very good about keeping our drinks full and the bread coming. We started out with a bang bang shrimp appetizer. Me personally, I'm not a big fan of it, but it was good. The bread was really good too. For dinner my daughter had the shrimp and scallops. She enjoyed it! My wife brussel sprouts salad with grilled salmon. She really liked the salmon but didn't care for the salad. Now me I went for the grilled pork chop. It was served with asparagus and new potatoes the were very good. The pork chop was very tender and cooked perfectly, it had mushroom gravy and fontana cheese on it.
