My sweet pup (almost 10 years young and full of nerves) had her grooming appointment today, and let…read moreme just say--Jace K. S. is paws-itively amazing! She's a ball of anxiety, but Jace handled her with so much care and patience, it truly put me at ease. I could tell she felt safe and loved--and came out looking absolutely paw-some! Jace also deserves extra tail wags for being so flexible. I had double-booked myself for a morning slot (whoops! ), but Jace kindly worked with me to reschedule for the evening. Talk about fur-st class service! If your pup needs a groomer who treats them with heart, skill, and a whole lot of love--Jace is the ulti-mutt choice.

The PetSmart on S Gartrell use to be a good place to get my dogs groomed. Not sure what happened to…read morethe store last year, but it just has not been the same. I went to pick my dog up yesterday 05/30/26 and they tried to give me the wrong dog. then the girl does to get my dog and Rigby yelps. Don't know what she did. I take my other dog today and she wants the shot records that they have on file. she tried to snatch them from me I told her don't try to take them and that I will give them to her. Then she and someone else comes out and says that she will groom Yoda today but for future grooming she won't groom any if my dogs. Oh ok; I tell her I'll just find a different groomer. Bad place for grooming. I will never take my dogs there ever again. I wish the old grooming crew was still there.

I've been trying to find a good dog groomer that wasn't too far from home and had reasonable prices…read moreand found Maw and Paw Pet Markey through Google search. They are kennel free and do one dog at a time which I appreciated. The groomer was very friendly and my dog liked her immediately. The groomer went well and my dog looks so good! So happy with the results and will definitely come back!

We've been comings to M&P for the last 2 years and are happy with the services here. Our dog has…read moresome anxiety and doesn't like his front paws being touched so he gets those "scared shakes" but he does well with the groomers here. We usually just get our dog's nails trimmed and purchase the occasional snack or dog food for him. He especially enjoys the treats after his pedicure! Unfortunately, the last few visits (maybe the last 2-3 months) he's been yelping and right at the start of the trim. We keep our visits every 4-6 weeks so we know his nails are not overgrown and he's a very active cattle dog. Alisha(sp?) explained the yelp was because his front paws were sensitive.. We also tried to clarify we wanted his nails grinded but she said they do both grind&clip, which was confusing. Only negative complaint was that this groomer smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Everyone is entitled to their hobby/habit, but maybe suggest putting a jacket over & taking off before going back to work, or a perfume to try to cover it up?

Petco Will Take Your Money -- But They Certainly Don't Support Animals or the Community…read more What I witnessed at the Petco at 3511 N Salida Ct near Tower was beyond unacceptable. A volunteer who had driven six hours to safely deliver a foster dog was harassed, stalked, and treated like a criminal in Petco's parking lot -- not by police, not by staff, but by an aggressive Front Range Patrol guard Petco thinks represents their brand. Instead of showing even minimal respect for rescue work or basic human decency, Petco allowed this guard to escalate, monitor, and threaten someone who was literally helping save an animal. When I arrived to pick up the foster, he immediately went hostile, raised his voice at me, and acted like a routine dog exchange was some kind of crime. The message from Petco was loud and clear: You can give them your money -- but don't expect them to support animals, rescues, or the community in any meaningful way. For a company that markets itself as a champion of animal welfare, their actions say the opposite. Allowing aggressive, unnecessary confrontation toward rescue volunteers shows a complete lack of compassion, oversight, and responsibility. Petco should be embarrassed. The behavior they have authorized make it painfully obvious they care about only 1 thing, your money.
