Our roof was damaged in the last big storm of early winter 2023. The previous roof was only about five years old and did not last through the high winds we had, which were not bad to begin with. We had used a different company that we have since learned took many shortcuts, and that showed in their pricing. Our contact, Joey Vidal, worked within our budget and with our insurance quote while providing us with high-quality products that we needed without giving us options that we didn't need. Once we agreed on the work, we were quickly added to their schedule, and the team arrived on the scheduled day. They spent a few hours on prep, removing gutters and shutters, then arrived the next day and began work. They stayed late and almost completed the job in one day, but needed to come back the next morning, completing the job in less than two days. The entire time, Joey kept us up to date via phone calls and text messages and provided drone pictures of the roof. Everyone we worked with was courteous and respectful of our time. After the work was complete, Joey and his son returned to scout around the perimeter of the house to look for errant nails and leftover material that may have fallen and not been cleaned up. The final step was a complimentary pressure wash of our driveway. This was much appreciated since we are unable to do that right now due to water restrictions. Once the work was completed to our satisfaction, we were presented with the final bill, and Joey even stopped by to pick up the check so I didn't have to drive to the office or drop a large check in the mail. We appreciated the fine work and excellent communication with the Vidals, and we plan to use them for some future construction projects.

I contacted Bondoc Roofing and asked them to come out to discern if the damage was within their scope of repair. While here, they also evaluated our roof. Despite being fairly new, they discovered a few loose shingles, some vents that were improperly installed and not booted, and a portion of our gutter system that needed cleaning and a leaf guard installation. Bondoc was able to repair all these issues to perfection, but it was not just that they did a good job that was impressive. Owner, Michael Osinskie, is clearly a man that has thought about delivering a top-notch consumer experience. Every staff member that I interacted with from Kylie to Dylan, Rovy and more were infectiously positive, caring and delivered a highly professional experience. They provided me with a polished portfolio at their initial visit, along with high resolution photos of the problem areas mentioned above. We had solar panels installed in late February, about a week after Bondoc's fantastic roof tune-up. Sadly, we developed a leak at one of the panel installation sites which became apparent when water burst through our ceiling this past Thursday night after an intense storm. This was no fault of Bondoc's and most likely occurred during the panel installation process. The solar company's damages team was off site responding to emergency needs out of state, and would not be able to make the repair before the following week. With more inclement weather forecasted over the weekend, I reached out to Bondoc again. These lovely people treated me like family, and came to my immediate rescue. Dylan squeezed me in to their already tight same-day schedule, took photos of the damage, and covered the affected area which, again, gave me tremendous peace of mind. Here's a breakdown of my experience: Kevin Plumb (Sales Representative) - 9/25/23 to 1/18/24 - Kevin was fired while handling my case, which led to my project being prematurely closed without my knowledge. - I attempted to contact **both Kevin and the office for months** with no response. Eventually, I had to reach out to their Austin office, which helped reconnect me with someone from their San Antonio office. - My case was reopened and reassigned to Jasmin after it had been improperly closed. - Kevin instigated fraudulent claims, promising greater insurance returns for non-fixable items. - He also promised interior roofing repairs for structural damage, which never materialized. Jasmyn (Project Manager) - Unreliable: She scheduled meetings but did not show up. - Poor communication: Would text saying she'd call back but never followed through. - Failed scheduling: Set up work appointments for crews that never arrived. - Team left materials outside my house for months, creating an eyesore. - Gutters were incorrectly installed under her supervision, requiring reinstallation along with fascia board replacement. - Dragged the project for 10 months without completing it. - Repeatedly claimed to have submitted insurance requests for missing items but never actually did. - Did complete work on my backyard shed, but overall, the project was heavily delayed. - Despite my proactive efforts, including weekly follow-ups, the project remained stalled. - Ultimately, she ghosted me. Paul Perez (New Production Manager) - I asked what it would take to make my project a priority so it could be finished in November 2024. His response: - "All 36 pending projects are a priority." - Then, he proceeded to ignore mine, closed it out prematurely again, and refunded me the balance instead of completing the work. - Sent yet another new employee to inspect my roof--at this point, every manager had sent someone new for another inspection, causing further delays. - Took an entire year to receive a refund for my overpayment. This company completely mismanaged my project from start to finish, with unprofessional staff, false promises, and severe delays. I had to fight for months to even get responses, and in the end, they failed to complete the work as promised. If you're considering hiring them, stay away unless you want to deal with unreliable reps, ghosting, and financial headaches.
