An update...Dolan Roofing did another outstanding job in replacing our roof which received hail damage in April 2024. This is our second roof replacement with Dolan Roofing as we would not think of going with another roofing business. Johnny and Brandy have a professional, honest and reliable business which is managed in a very homeowner friendly manner. We were again kept informed of what was going to be done, how it was to done and when. All work was completed in a seamless manner. The work crews were very responsible as all plants and other items near the home were carefully covered while the job was being completed. The cleaningcrew did an excellent job and all looked back in place. Again, the expert office personnel took care of any and all insurance paperwork. This is a big plus since today even more documentation is required by insurance companies before any payment or reimbursement is made. Background: My wife and I experienced the second damaging hailstorm in 18 months and needed to replace our roof (again). We learned from the first experience. We worked with our insurance adjuster to ensure all damage was noted and appropriately appraised. We then shopped for retail quotes to replace our roof. After receiving 3 quotes, we chose Dolan Roofing & Construction. They were not the least expensive (about $200 above the next roofer in our ranking), but had great reviews from customers. I worked with Aaron Strom at Dolan. He worked around our busy schedule. Aaron's crew followed our instructions carefully and prepared well. They kept us informed and prepared us for the demolition and installation. The process took less than two days - some neighbors lost use of their driveway and yard for three days. They cleaned up and left the yard/driveway exactly as it was. The roof looks great! read more

Had Brandis come out to give me a quote on a new roof. Entire process from start to finish was very easy. They took care of dealing with the inspector from my insurance company, which initially denied my claim due to bad photos taken by their inspector (cloudy day did not show the damage to their liking). Dolan reached out to request another inspector come out & this time they worked side by side with them to get everything covered. Communications with their office staff regarding claims, payments & their back-and-forth with the insurance company was also very clear. Brandis then came by to go over the work list giving me options on what I wanted done & how, but not trying to sell me on anything. Was very clear on exactly what my costs were & what they were covering. He made sure to explain all the things they were changing to ensure the new roof was up to today's code standards vs what was done years ago. Setting up install date was quick. Delivery crew came out a couple days early & unloaded all the materials onto our roof, out of the way. Mike & his crew then came out exactly on time & started/finished the job in less than 9 hours. Crew did a great job of cleaning up after themselves & were very professional. Follow up with Dolan was also very good. Have seen numerous roofing companies in my neighborhood over the past 18 months, with one of my friends having them take days to finish. These seem to easily be the best of the bunch. Dolan replaced our roof. Now we have a leak and Dolan Restoration refuses to come and do the repairs. They claim damage was done by an inspector, while the inspector did the inspection via drone and not on the actual roof. Now we have a leak and have been told that they will not come here unless I pay them for the repairs while this is clearly a warranty item. read more

We had a leak in our roof and a lot of damage to the boards under the shingles. We were happy with the repair done, until two months later, it's already starting to fall apart! There is a large section of shingles that have come loose... clearly not installed correctly for a whole area to now be loose and opening our house up to new damage. Upon noticing, I immediately called and emailed to get someone out right away to tarp or repair the newly damaged area that was caused by an shoddy repair, but as of now, no response. Their website boasts 24hr service, so, we shall see, but as of now, I am very disappointed! read more

these guys are very sloppy. after roofing job was finished. we found that they left my security light romex wiring exposed out side the roof. no one ever came to inspect the work. johnny dolan the owner told me when they finished it would be like they were never were there. it's been over a month and we are still finding nails,shingles and plastic strips off the shingles all over the place. all over the place. they never even covered our ornamental plants...they have nails and screws in them. they put a tarp over my hot tub the then threw singlesin it till it sank leaving rroofing material inside the hot tub,when they left we tried going out on our patio. well having to pick up nails and screws from all over the patio and around the house and in the drive way were we are supposed to park our cars. more to follow. read more

I called Johnny at DRC because he has so many good reviews. Working with him was a good experience at first. He even worked with my insurance company and helped get my claim expedited. I usually get 3 bids when I do a major project but chose Johnny because he was pleasant to deal with and he said he would save me a thousand dollars and I wouldn't have to pay for anything out of pocket. Well that last part didn't hold up and I received an invoice for $1,281.63 after I paid him every penny the insurance company gave me for my claim. I finally paid him the balance 9 months later, but I'm upset that he didn't keep his word. If I had known up front that I would have to pay about $1,200.00 out of pocket then I would have received 2 more bids. Maybe he still would have had the best price, I'll never know. But I would have known up front that I would have a balance not surprise me when the job is done and say that I still owe you money. Make sure your bid and anything verbal is in writing before you agree on contracting him. read more
