My mom had made a $40 deposit (per this clinic's policy) for an eye exam prior to her insurance approval. The nurse gave my mom such a hard time when my mom attempted to call about the refund, since the insurance agency had already confirmed that the office was already reimbursed. After about 1.5 months and 4 phone calls later, the nurse reluctantly gave my mom back her money due to my mom's persistence. Then, she proceeded to ridicule my mom, saying that she had made a big deal over only $40, which was only enough for one meal anyway, implying that my mom was cheap. Steer clear of this place. I can only imagine the type of mistreatment other elderly patients may have had to endure going here.
