The process from the beginning was very fast and smooth. Stephanie called me immediately after I requested a quote (to install a NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage) from Yelp and set up an appt with their electrician, Sam. I was informed ahead of time when Sam would be arriving on the scheduled appt day. He gave me an estimate in a few mins after looking around and offered me that he could do the job now. We had some short of our GFCI from outside BBQ area that somehow "spilled" into our interior walls (on the same side of the house), and after hours of troubleshooting by my dear husband, I finally decided to quit while we were ahead and send out a professional electrical service request on Yelp. Although Bolt was the second company to respond, they were very thorough in following up (it turned out that the first guy who responded flaked out and told me he will come on another day) and so I decided to give these guys the job to fix the problem (than wait for the first guy to maybe show up) that day. Matt, the technician, showed up about 45 minutes after I spoke with Stephanie, Bolt Customer Service. Matt was attentive, upfront with costs and very knowledgeable, and he had some iPad with tools that helped diagnose the circuitry really quickly. Within an hour, Matt fixed all the issues, told us what the issues were, and emailed over the invoice and diagnostic. Done! I will be using these guys from now on! Highly recommend! read more

Where to begin? For those Yelpers who are of a Twitter (140 Character) mindset, the summary is: Customer Service, Customer Service, Customer Service!!!! Bolt Electric exceeded my expectations every step of the way. I found Bolt on Angie's list, among other electricians. Within five minutes of my submitting a request for a quote, Stephanie of Bolt Electric called and arranged for Sam, the electrician, to come out and identify and fix my issue. The appoint occurred within three business days of my call. If it had been an emergency issue, it's certain they would have scheduled an appointment even quicker. Stephanie was outstanding. Professional, friendly and very customer focused. Sam had the problem fixed within five minutes. The issue involved landscape lighting in the front yard, a portion of which had stopped working. The lighting wiring was underground and not immediately accessible. This could have been a difficult problem to diagnose and could have taken hours, but Sam's expertise as an electrician had the problem fixed quickly. From start to finish, the experience with Bolt Electric was in the top 1/10th of 1 percent of all customer service experiences I have had with any company. We had an issue with an outlet in our laundry room, sometimes the dryer would work and sometimes it would not turn on. After a few weeks of this, we called Bolt to have a technician come out and look at the outlet. The day Sam came out, the dryer was of course working, and after twenty minutes he said everything looked okay and to call them back if it stopped working again. A week later it went out again, and I called them back. They were able to squeeze a visit in same day, and when Daniel came out he was able to get to the root of the problem. Both technicians were extremely professional and explained everything to me in layman terms. They also both recommended replacing our panel, which we definitely need to do (it is from 1961), and when we do we will call Bolt. I called just to get an estimate on changing my lighting in the kitchen to recessed lighting. They came the same day and their price was good. Also Matt was able to do the job the same day! I was so impressed. Everything on the same day! They look wonderful and now I don`t have to worry about changing light bulbs 15 feet up on the ceiling. I would have to have help for that. I just bought a house in Gilbert and needed to change out a four prong dryer outlet to a three prong one to match the plug on my newer style dryer. This is a small job so I wanted to find an electrical company that handled small jobs as a matter of routine. I consulted Yelp and found Bolt. I called Bolt and received a call back the following day. I got an appointment for two days later with a three hour service window. This was important to me because I needed to leave work early and needed a late in the day window and a schedule that would be kept. On the day of the appointment, I got a call from the company at the beginning of that service window informing me that the technician would arrive in one half hour. William Johnston arrived in exactly thirty minutes. He looked at the outlet and quoted the job. He informed me that he would do the work immediately after I approved the price. I approved the price and he set himself to work. He had the parts in his truck. He also checked my electrical panel and found a couple of minor problems that he recommended I fix in the future. I appreciated that information and that he didn't try to expand the job. He completed the work rapidly. I was completely satisfied with his work and his friendly professional demeanor. Had a new double oven installed and delivery guys tested it and it didn't work. Waited a week and got a new one and same thing happened. Discovered it was the outlet and not the appliance. Had to make a quick decision to call an electrician who could come today and check it out as the delivery guys figured out that the neutral plug wasn't functioning. They were able to "bridge" the connection on the oven so the 3 prongs worked but I still wanted electrician to come inspect the outlet. Called Bolt and they were able to come same day!!
