Came here with 4 other friends after rafting the Wenatchee river. Food was good. Server was absolutely horrible. One of us ordered fish and chips to split and asked for the extra piece at an extra price as listed on the menu. He said we don't do that. When we pointed out that the menu said you do he said well the cook makes the menu they can do whatever they want. He was rude and condescending the whole time and did want to be there. He never smiled or asked how our meal was and then I had to hunt him down at the bar to pay. When I paid cash he asked if I wanted my change which would have been a 30 percent tip if I didn't take it. When I said yes he glared at me and acted like I totally put him out. His lack of service and nastiness was noticed by all in our party. If he is the owner that is a shame and if he is not I would recommend replacing him. The fish and chips was a disappointment. I probably should have sent them back. On the other hand, no one should ever serve an adult a portion of fish this size. The server was extraordinarily efficient and seemed eager to clear our table and didn't want us to linger. I've been here probably a dozen times, but I will be hesitant to do so again. read more

We visited Milepost Brewery on Oct 3. Food was decent but cost is higher than Seattle prices. We were even charged $1 for an extra plate where they didn't even split the order. Food for one person which was truffle fries, one burger and 2 beers was $50. I recommend avoiding unless you enjoy being overcharged. read more

$18 for 3 small nuggets of fish and fries cooked in old oil resulting in a burnt flavor. The coleslaw was bland, like they mixed coleslaw mix with only mayo. Definitely not worth eating. Great place to stop just for a beer. read more

Located in Cashmere, WA right after you go over the bridge you will find this gem tucked away. Service was quick (we beat the rush) and they had just built a nice covered deck with infrared heaters. Onto the food: 1) kids Mac and cheese for both kids. Nice home made Mac and cheese and some carrot and celery stick. Portions are generous and love they make their own instead of a cop out boxed product. Could use a tad bit more salt, but for the kids similar is always better. 2) milepost burger. This was fantastic. Juicy, fresh veggies, fixings/meat/bun ratio was well proportioned and the bun was crispy. I got the mini size and wish I got the full size, but did get to finish the kids Mac and cheese so it worked out. I subbed out the homemade fries for a side salad and it was a good one. I like the ranch they use and the veggies are all fresh. 3) fries. I live they are house cut fries. With they are crispier but otherwise good. Always love house cut fries. I will remember to make the Milepost Brewery a must stop along our drive to Easter Washington. If you are reading this as well, so should you. Drive fast (and safely)! read more

My husband and I stopped for dinner. The place has good potential if they improved on their food/serving sizes and pricing. My husband had a taco salad, which was on the small side, and nothing very special. I had the fish & chips, which I agree with all other reviewers was ridiculously small. 3 small pieces, just slightly larger than golf balls! The fries were greasy and limp but could have been delicious if fried properly. Loved the truffle flavor! The coleslaw was the worst I have ever had. Big slices of the cabbage core, and ZERO flavor! Coleslaw is easy to make, and in my opinion makes a fish & chips order. If they don't improve it, they should just leave it off the menu. The only good thing about our experience......it was "Happy Hour" and their prices were very reasonable. The only weird thing was they are a brewery and had none of their product available? This is a great place to grab dinner, catch up with friends and try some delicious beers. They have an assortment of beers on tap and in bottles. Lots of local breweries in the area. The ambiance is relaxed and pretty chill. The burgers are huge and delish! I lOVE the truffle fries! If you want a sweet finish to your meal, they offer some home made desserts, and the best is the raspberry cream pie. The service is friendly and they can handle a crowd or small groups. Ate a Friday night dinner for the first Time. Burger and chicken sandwich was good but pricey. Came without fries which we ordered separately. They were not fresh and soggy. Service and ambiance were good. With tip, tax and 3% credit card fee just 3 food items were $50 for two people. Seemed like a lot. read more

I've been coming to this spot for over 10 years. It used to be excellent, but the quality has declined. Portion sizes are smaller, prices are high, sides cost extra now. I get it - times are tough and food costs have increased. But compared to other options in the Wenatchee area, the value is not here. Service quality and general cleanliness have also declined. Seems like the owners no longer care and are trying to squeeze out every last cent from the customers. To add insult to injury they also tack on a 3% fee for credit card transactions. read more

This is a decent spot to stop if you are heading to Lake Chelan but are hangry. Great beer choices and they serve tasting flights. They menu has a good variety of pub food as well. I had the kale quinoa salad which was needs and was a pleasant surprise on the menu. Protein plus veggies and a lot of craisins! A little too much for me, but great antioxidants. My husband had the bacon burger and it looked very yummy. Slightly messy with the dressing on it. The truffle fries were also a nice addition on the menu. While none of us likes higher prices, it is unrealistic to expect Milepost to fix their prices based on costs that they used pay, but are unable to make ends meet as the result of their increased costs today. I pay more to feed my family now than I did even 3 months ago....how is it that anyone can expect that Milepost should absorb increased food costs to operate at a loss? We all have choices to make as how to spend our disposable income. I had lunch at Milepost today and the young ladies provided attentive and conscientious service, the food was great and I will continue to make Milepost a must stop destination whenever I am in town. There are less expensive places to go to in Wenatchee, and I have been to many of them, but Milepost is the most consistent in terms of excellent quality and service from my perspective. Everyone has unique constraints and factors they consider important in their "out to eat" dining experiences, so this post is not an attempt to "diss" previous comments. But, for me, even in light of higher prices, the value provided by Milepost in terms of quality and service is worth the price and I will continue to give them by business. read more

I would never return. Worst food I've had in years. Ordered the clam strips. It arrived with some very small clams and 4 tiny shrimp. It was a super tiny laughable amount and they were all burnt and most the pieces were the size of a pea. Nothing like burnt, grocery store frozen clams. We also ordered the Buffalo chicken salad. This is an excellent brewery located in Cashmere, WA which is located in between Wenatchee and Leavenworth. Milepost 111 Brewing is a great pit stop for some refreshments and a perfect place to go during summer travel. At this brewery Steve and I did a rare thing and actually got the same beer selection that was offered. This brewery has a lot of their own beer and is nano-brewery styled. These type of breweries I have had good luck with small batches or limited batched beers. The beer that we had here was a Blueberry Saison which was truly delightful and a great enjoyment to drink on the warm, summer day outside. They also have a wide selection of guest beers on tap as well. By the time we made the stop here were getting hungry too and shared a very fine plate of nachos between the two of us. The ingredients were very, very fresh and the guacamole and the pico de gallo that came with the nachos were very, very flavorful. Definitely an enjoyable meal! The atmosphere at Milepost 111 Brewing is very pleasant with patio seating that would be perfect for summer dining and the inside of the place has a fun, cheerful atmosphere as well. During this time I thought restaurants were trying t O be appreciative of any business that they could get. My mother in law called two weeks ago and made a reservation, but when she called this week to ask if she could put up decorations early someone told her that they has cancelled her reservation. This was a surprise party for my father in law's 60th birthday. She asked why and they said it was because she didn't return their confirmation call. She tried to explain that she didn't receive a call but they didn't accept that. They agreed to add the reservation again, but then an hour later a woman called stating that it would be $30 an hour to have a reservation. I told her to call El Agave instead and they were so accommodating, and sweet from start to finish. If could give negative Stars I would. My kids and I meet my grandmother there ever Saturday and/or Sunday, but never again. If you can't support your local community during a time like this then you don't support our support any other time! read more

This used to be a great spot but they have increased their prices and have now made their burgers and sandwiches a la carte and at 14.99 that is steep enough then add 8 bucks for fries or chips? Fries and chips used to be flavorful but this time both were missing any hint of truffle, salt or smoke salt. They were plain as plain could be. When I brought it to their attention I got zero response. Just an acknowledgement would have gone a long way. The raspberry cream pie is still amazing. read more

I want to like this place, great location and good vibe. However the tap list is weak especially for a place that calls itself a brewery but has mostly beer brewed by others. The menu looks fine okay but the fries are limp and the fish and slaw bland. I ordered the fish and chips because the burgers are 17 bucks and are served a la carte. Our family went to Milepost for the first time this evening in a couple months. There was live music which was cool. It was so loud we could barely speak to each other though (we were even inside the restaurant, not outside where they play). Music was good though along with our wait service. The food has really gone downhill. I understand raising prices, but I paid $15 for a bacon burger that had a single slice of bacon on it, a small patty, cheese, and nothing else (no veggies). My burger was so small I left hungry. With everything al a carte (meaning no sides/fries included), we ordered a full order of fries to share between three people. The fries we got were burnt, had no truffle flavor, and were bogged down with oil. I want to support hometown businesses, but paying $80+ for three burgers, one order of fries, and two drinks makes it hard. read more

We're locals who were trying to patronize a local restaurant. We've been coming since they opened. It's been a while cause we like a nearby burger tavern but thought we'd swing on for a beer and dinner for fun. Well, that'll be the last time we come here. $21.00 for a burger and fries. No pickle on the side, it's all ala carte. Not sure if you've been to Jaks steakhouse in Seattle, but their half pound burger with fries is $17. This is a former tractor dealership with lots of flies. Wayyyy out of line on pricing. There is not a more expensive place to eat a burger in eastern Washington. The owners got too greedy. While finding a brewery in Wenatchee area with a great selection of micros from around the region is pretty cool, And I probably would have given the place four stars for that alone. My group of four stopped in for lunch. Views outside were cool, service was very good, and themed decor of the place was great for a brew pub. Sandwich left much to be desired. The Marbled Rye was a highlight of the corned beef sandwich. The sauce occupying the inside was minimal. and the meat? What meat?? Quite possibly the smallest portion I personally have ever witnessed on a corned beef sandwich, or any sandwich for that matter.
