I hardly ever write a review on here, but after tasting Bomb Grub catering, I knew it would be unfair to gate keep these people. I had their breakfast for an event and everything was cooked to perfection! The eggs were fluffy, the bacon had a good crunch to it, and the beans and rice were like tasting my grandma's recipe. Washing it all down with the Mojito Blueberry drink was the cherry on top! I wish I could hire him to cook for my wife and kids every Sunday! The owner really takes care of his customers, and it had me going back for a third round of food! The salsa complimented everything perfectly, and Ernesto was even nice enough to share how he makes it. We need more people in the food service like Bomb Grub! I decided for my birthday this year that I would much rather be at home than in a restaurant. I also knew I didn't want to cook and my search for a catering company led me to finding Bomb Grub. All I can say is WOW!!! Once I booked, Chef Ernesto reached out to me right away. We went over my vision for the day and what my expectations were for the event. He was very professional, a great communicator, friendly and so easy to work with. On the day of, he and his wife showed up on time and got right to work. The Birria was incredible delicious and the service was top notch. I was blown away by how amazing everything was! Honestly, I have tried many caterers and never been so happy as I was with Bomb Grub. Besides making ridiculously, delicious food, Chef Ernesto truly LOVES what he does. Pulled up to one of his first Pop-Ups and tried his Birria plate with some Beans and Rice. The food was well presented, good portions, and had everything you needed. The utensils, the limon, the onion and cilantro, the salsa, the tortillas, && even brought out the first batch of aguas locas he was creating. Seeing him grow from Pop-ups to a full catering business has been a testament to his passion of cooking. Him and his wife bring the best energy out and it really reflects on their food. Team Work ! Bomb Grub "chef Nesto" was hired for my daughter's bridal shower with a brunch menu. It was the best brunch I've ever had Homemade syrup for the pancakes Fresh scrambled eggs, bacon, country potatoes, pancakes and fruit So many people said it was the best pancakes they have ever had and they took some home! I got to try their food at a party they catered in the city of Brea. They made brunch and it was AMAZING! They offered the full spread! French toast, pancakes, bacon, sausage, cheesy eggs, potatoes, rice, beans, chilaquiles and even a homemade drink called blueberry mojito!! It was delicious!!! Living in socal you get to try some of the best Mexican food anywhere in the states so it's not often you get surprised. But man, Chef Nesto did it! Can't recommend him enough!
