Can't say enough awesome things about them!! Quick, easy and the team is so helpful with great suggestions

We had an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience with Araj from Bombay rental company during a recent wedding I planned. Despite confirming all rental details months in advance, even the week prior and days leading up to the event to make sure everything was correct, the vendor failed to deliver on multiple fronts--and when confronted, took zero accountability. The most alarming issue was the dance floor, which was not secured properly. The outer framing was also left short, leaving sharp edges and was two different colors. We later found out that guests actually fell during the event because of the dance floor. Not only was it unsafe, but the white vinyl wrap as ordered, was also not done and never corrected, even though the vendor claimed to be "on-site the entire time." If that were true, why wasn't any of the issues corrected before guests entered the reception? Yes, claim was at his warehouse was over an hour away, and he couldn't access the items, although his team forgot cocktail tables, and he sent them to go pick them up. The corrections could've been made at that time. In addition, the wrong glassware was delivered and never replaced, wrong trash can liners were provided, wrong linen material, items were left behind and there were other notable oversights. He also tried to charge us for items we did not have on our rental order. We later found out that he sub rented with another company without letting us know and later I told the other rental company to pick up the next day, although my clients could have been charged an extra fee for next day pick up. When we tried to resolve the issue professionally via email, the vendor insisted on discussing it by phone instead of responding in writing to not have a paper trail. Even after that call, we never received a follow-up or resolution. Another red flag: the vendor repeatedly claimed to be associated with Stephanie's Linens, yet they have made it clear to us--directly and professionally--that they have no affiliation with him and do not want to be associated with his business or practices. After working with him for years, they allowed him to barrow their showroom as he does not have an office or showroom himself, as he claims. He told us he was partners with this business and the showroom he visited was their office. This level of negligence and dishonesty is unacceptable. As event professionals, we value our vendor partnerships and aim for collaborative, solution-oriented communication. Unfortunately, this company failed in every category--product, service, and integrity. I do not recommend working with them under any circumstances. read more

Araj has been the most wonderful person and great decorator and planner for my son's wedding ceremoney and reception. He went beyond to set up extremely beautiful Mandap and Banquet hall. He was very active at the time while there was some crisis unexpected came up before the Phereys. Also not fault of own Westin had power outage the same evening before the cocktail hour. He tackeled well and solved the issue with electricians from the hotel. He handleled all the planning and decoration in such an elegant, professional, and smooth way. We were nothing but so much impressed. He acted more like a family member rather than a vendor who just wanted to collect his money. I must write this review from multiple lenses because of the abysmal experience we had with Araj and his team on our special day in Temecula California on March 30th, 2024. We want Araj to see this review and know who it is. Pre-text: I had two decorators, one for the wedding and one for the reception. Araj did my reception decoration. I have proof for each and every comment that I have made below. I wish there was a rating worse than 1, I can give him. Lens 1 (Araj): Araj is the most disrespectful decorator I have ever worked with during my three-day wedding event. Let's start with his attitude, he might be self-proclaimed "best decorator" in the southern California and kept telling us about all the fancy weddings he does every time we got on call to discuss about the wedding. Furthermore, he kept telling us that our wedding is such a small event for him, and he does business worth millions. To be honest, I am happy for him that he might be successful but making a client feel bad about their event is downright disrespectful. An event might be small, but it might be the biggest day of the client's life - and for us our wedding was just that. He yelled at our wedding coordinator on the day off the wedding, and she showed us the text conversations she had with Araj. Secondly, his fiancée is a wedding coordinator, and he started acting super rude once we decided to not go with her wedding coordination services. He acted so rudely with my wedding coordinator once she reached out to him. Lastly, as the weather forecast got worse for the day of the wedding, we ended up asking Araj for couple of additional quotes for tents. His higher pricing dissuaded us from using his service for tents. With us rejecting his service for tents, he pulled back on providing his service for stage risers (discussed with him earlier by our coordinator) saying it was too inconvenient for him. Funny part is that we got stage raisers for cheaper from the same vendor that we got the tents from. The entire bill was half of what Araj quoted us for both. So turns out that Araj's company is not only rude/unreliable, but also expensive for equivalent services. Also, Araj is almost always late to all calls, meetings, etc. Lens 2 (Setup and Breakdown): On the day of the event, Araj came to collect the check for the event and then left. He didn't stay to see the event through completion or anything. There was no one from Araj's team to supervise his employees. As a result, his employees worked extremely slowly to setup the candle wall and center pieces. Caused an hour long delay in starting the reception. * Setup: Bombay rental's team had 1 hour and 15 minutes to setup center pieces and candle wall. They stayed behind on the entire setup process. Our wedding coordinator and the venue coordinator helped to setup the center pieces, while Araj's guys only worked on candle wall - which was supposed to be setup behind the curtains partitioning the mandap (wedding stage) and bar. Araj charged almost 1200 for setup and delivery and did less than 50% of the work that we paid for. Araj's team didn't complete the setup till 7:20pm, while the target completion time was between 6:15-6:30pm. Also, we paid for water goblets, and they did not set those up either because they were so behind schedule. We never got a refund for those water goblets. We have photos of how our wedding decorator (Veena Décor) out of generosity helped us setup the tables (Araj's team job). I wish I had never worked with him. He is the worst. * Breakdown: Bombay rental took 1.5-2 hours to complete the breakdown of the decorations post completion of the event. The venue owners were very accommodative in terms of allowing Araj's team to take longer. We had to pay extra to the venue for the extended breakdown time that Araj's team took. Lens 3 (Badmouthing): We learned from one of other vendors that Araj was badmouthing us and our event to them leading up to the event. I am sad that this is the kind of person Araj is. Overall, he is not genuine, furthermore he tries to sell additional services when we don't want them. If we say no, he makes us feel bad about how poorly we are decorating our event, etc. Do you really want that for your event? read more

Araj is my go to guy for any events. He was recommended to me by a family friend. I was trying to plan a COVID wedding and he was very easy to work with dates changing and last minute stuff. He did my henna event and wedding in under two days with the little direction I gave him from months ago. Araj worked with my budget and his team did an amazing job. He does family and corporate events and they literally have everything you could ever want for a great party!! They deliver, set up, break down, pack up, or you can pick up if you prefer! I hired Bombay event rentals and spoke to Araj. He was so helpful. They delivered the mandap to my venue early and had everything set up. I didn't have a stage set up for them to put the mandap and chairs and he went out of his way to get a rug to lay down so that it looked perfect when I arrived. He kept me in the loop with everything going on from rain to not having the stage. He genuinely cared about how my ceremony set up looked and he could have just had the mandap without the rug but he truly went above and beyond. I hired Araj for 2 of my wedding events, Mehindi and wedding day. Both events turned out amazing. I was very specific about what I wanted for both days and he delivered exactly. My mehindi venue was on a very time scheduled place since it was a weekday and I had told Araj that they had to finish disassembling in time otherwise I would loose my $1000 deposit and he did and I got all of my deposit back. I had seen his work in photos but never in person but after my own events I recommend him to every family or friend's wedding or any other bigger event. The coordinator that I had previously hired had to go through emergency surgery 2.5 weeks before my wedding and I was freaking out. Thankfully I found Araj and he was amazing to work with!! Araj did an amazing job for my wedding! I wish I knew him when I had my engagement party. My wedding was so beautiful that people wanted to put it in magazines. He did everything exactly how I wanted it. Araj decorated 3 chandeliers, and had a beautiful stage. He was reasonably priced, and surprised my husband and I with so many things!! Not only is he a decorator, but he is also a coordinator. He was with us from the very first day of meeting him, until the end of the wedding! I met with Araj weekly for 3 months straight. Words cannot even describe how helpful Araj was. He not only helped plan the wedding, but he planned the gift exchange and helped plan our honeymoon! In addition, Araj's coordinators even came to the pre party on the day of the wedding to make sure I had everything I needed.
