Our first Indian restaurant experience in Illinois. It's great for family outing as recommended by friends. The variety of Indian dishes are great as they have my favourite Indian dish like "Palak Paneer" served with Garlic Naan. . The "Chicken Dam Biryani" has got some surprise (marinated chicken layer as you dive into the bowl (Topped with boiled egg and garnishes) and a real proper dish for group. . "Gobi 65" (fried cauliflower) got the party started but we would prefer it served piping hot and crispier so as "Sesame Jhinga"

Called 7 times at 1:57pm but suppose to be open, closes at 2:30pm

On Saturdays, they close at 2:30 pm. I called 7 times since 1:57 pm and no answer. I decided to go up there and arrived at 2:05 pm and the door is locked. This is not the only time this had happened. Bad enough they have weird hours and do not stay open but not staying open when you're supposed to be and answering the phone to accept a pick-up order is unprofessional for a business.

Food was fresh & delicious, plus the host was also very attentive. Overall great experience, & I definitely plan on coming back.

The flavor of the food is good but the quantity to price is outrageous. Malai Kofta is $11.99 but you get 4 tiny dumplings. Major rip off!

This is the best Indian food I've had since eating in friends from India's home's. Definitely planning my next visit.

They primarily serve crepes and tea of course but I have never been a person to digest either of these things. I tried the iced rose and lavender milk teas a few times and those are so yummy. It has the sensation of milk has your drinking it, but it has the sweet undertone of tea for taste, it's wonderful. The first crepe I had there was an ice cream crepe which was HUGE by the way. I was looking at it like "homagod" because I usually have crepes that are small and dainty but this was a monster. It was a dessert crepe with chocolate ice cream, syrup, and whip creme. BABY! It was so good! It was really cold but I powered through that mess. That's exactly how it looked too after I was done eating, a mess. The cafe' is small, but really comfortable. They have a very modern like atmosphere using neutral colors for everything. I loved going there to study because it's just so cozy and so inviting. It's truly an amazing place.

The roast beef savory crepe is also tasty -- though a little light on meat. In terms of the milk tea, it is passable. The tapioca pearls are cooked properly, but the tea itself is nothing special. That said, for the price, it's hard to go wrong. The interior could use some work. It's a bit run down, and the paper towel dispensers in the bathroom don't work great. Meanwhile, the service is solid. They were very patient and friendly with my kids.

It also seems like a popular location to study for SIU students. Has pretty basic options along with seasonal favorites. The prices are pretty okay for around here and it's pretty good quality. Any college town needs to have a place to get coffee. It's not like there's many other good options. This is one reason why it's the best in town. Good options among the flavors. It's about $6 for a latte. The last time here I got the Black Forest Mocha. Had lots of chocolate flavor. The food options are paltry. It's about $2 for a bagel. They also have a few other things such as muffins. For this town it's not bad. It's located on East Grand Avenue at Wall Street. The main menu item is coffee, but there's bagels, plus some pastries and other things.

If you have never had one, you are missing a mouth full of YUM! Last night, I went through the drive-thru and ordered my meal with special instructions. When I got home, I realized the order wasn't correct. I ate the fries and ice cream and counted it as a loss. Well, as I was returning from a trip this afternoon, I went by Culver's again. I was still needing that butter-burger itch scratched. Unfortunately, my order was made incorrect again. This time, I saved the burger, and after a brief nap, I drove back to Carbondale, determined to get my burger. As soon as I walked into the door, I was greeted by Manager De'Ante. I explained what had happened and asked for a replacement meal. I didn't want to go another day without that delicious burger. De'Ante repeated my order to ensure it would be done correctly, then told his team to begin the preparation of my meal. I am happy to report that the Culver's team got it right this time! We all have bad days, so I try to grant grace when something goes awry, and I love it when a restaurant is responsive and willing to correct its mistakes. Not only did I get my food hot and fresh, but unlike when I went through the drive-thru, I could see how beautiful the restaurant was inside. I was impressed with the accessibility and cleanliness as well. As you can see from the attached photos, the restaurant and lot are clean, well-lit, and extremely inviting. I recommend you go to Culver's for a delicious meal. When you stop in, tell them Kindra Speech sent you!
