I got the Falafel Entree. This came with a generous amount of falafel, along with hummus, pitas, a salad, and tahini. She got the falafel but in a pita. This looked like a pretty good sandwich. Good place except the hours. It's only open a few hours in the evenings, and it's closed on Mondays. There's meaty options, and plenty of things for vegans and vegetarians.

She put on the Mexican music when I arrive. Service is fast. The owner explained the menu and provided good recommendations. I tried 4 tacos of different meat: birria, lengua, steak and carnitas. All are served with onions and lime. I love birria and lengua the most, followed by carnitas. I picked an authentic Mexican soda from their fridge. I love all the drink options available.

There's a small menu of a few authentic Mexican items and the choices of protein. Mostly it's tacos of course. These are pretty easy to make. It's $4 each. Protein choices include beef, chicken, or get beans and vegetables. Got us a couple of tacos with the beans. These were topped with cilantro and onions. Small but full of flavor. The store has drinks such as Jarritos, and you can get big ass cans of beans so you can make tacos for later. Good place to get authentic Mexican food. It's located on West Jackson Street at Illinois Avenue in a building that looks unassuming from outside. There's taqueria is located in the back, and you order at the window.

Spicy tea to me is like a spicy shrimp paste described as Malaysian style at other restaurants. this dish was solid veggie option to balance our other meat heavy dishes. - the hot and sour soup and egg roll were somewhat plain as included options on the lu rou fan and yu choy (would not ding them for this since I don't expect these sides as the star) - soda fountain option with Coke products Dining in experience is a bit dimly lit...maybe creating a more relaxed environment. This is located in a strip mall along with a few other local restaurants. Maybe this place gets overlooked. There were a few others inside, so they knew about it though. It's about $11 for an entree. The vegetarian ones include Tofu With Mushrooms. Crispy tofu without being burnt. Entrees also come with a soup. The fried onion was one of these. Has pretty good flavors for what it is, even for those not authentic. It's located on East Grand Avenue at Wall Street. There's plenty of options for both meat eaters and vegetarians.
