One of my favorite foods to eat! Started off with veggie samosa & samosa chat, it was my first time trying samosa chat and it was delicious!!.it's samosas covered in a chickpea sauce that was delightful Mine and my hubby's go to is always butter chicken medium heat w/ garlic naan. My mom had the goat ranganous and enjoyed it very much. Overall great service and ambiance.

This is my favorite Indian restaurant in Orlando. I visit whenever I have the opportunity, and the food never disappoints. Every dish I've tried has been flavorful and well-prepared. The service is attentive, and the spacious dining area, complete with a bar, makes for a nice and pleasant experience. Highly recommended for Indian flavors with a unique flare.

I came back to Bombay Street Kitchen after over a year, and the food was great. We started with chili paneer and gobi Manchurian, both were crispy and tasty. For mains, we ordered paneer makhani and butter naan. It was ordered medium but could have been spicier, and the sauce was on the thinner side. For the kids, we were able to get theirs extra mild and creamy, which was too sweet for me, but they enjoyed it. Service was great. I look forward to coming back.

Finally made it here after years about hearing how good it was from friends. I was pretty bummed that the restaurant did not live up to the hype. The food is fine but nothing stellar. Service was efficient but food came out very slow. The portion size to price ratio is a bit lacking too. Probably won't be coming back anytime soon.

Enjoyed dinner here after a long day at the Universal Studios theme parks. Nice, clean restaurant with a fun, colorful, ethnic ambiance. We were seated promptly, but service overall was lacking. Our waitress didn't say a single word to us the entire evening. She took our order silently, didn't try to engage with us or share recommendations. It was awkward. The food however was phenomenal! We ordered: - masala soda. This is a rare find. Loved the tangy and sweet flavor profile. Very unique. - Grilled Paneer Thecha. This is a dry paneer appetizer served in bite sized pieces. Super flavorful! I wish it was served with a green chutney or some sort of sauce - that would've completed it for me. - Chura Vada Pav - so delicious and authentic! Generous portion as well! I loved this. - Bhuna Chicken - the curry gravy was rich and spiced to perfection. Very enjoyable. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal but would've appreciated better service.

This is my 3rd time visiting and the food is absolutely delicious. Very flavorful and cooked to perfection. We had the usual butter chicken with white rice, lamb chops, chicken dumplings and we tried these crispy potato crips. We ate everything and left no crumbs. Definitely our new favorite spot. We will be back sooner than later.

Bombay Street Kitchen is just around the corner from my home, and I have wanted to try it out! The restaurant was a lot more upscale than what I expected. The staff was so welcoming and got me seated right away. There are so many choices it's hard to decide, but I set my sights on curry chicken, garlic naan and basmati rice. Mango Lassi has all the flavors that I love, mango, yogurt and sweetness. The aroma of the garlic naan was intoxicating! The curry was a bit spicier than I had anticipated, but I was able to enjoy it. The rice was aromatic and cooked perfectly. It is a lot of food, so you can plan on having leftovers for lunch the next day! The decor of the restaurant is classy and made me think I should have changed after work! :). The prices are comparable to what a sit down meal runs. Just know that the food prices make running a restaurant costly! The food was so delicious! It was worth every penny. I will be back again soon!

I absolutely love Indian food in this place was delicious. Each time I come I'm going to try to take something different off the menu. Everything was really good. The non-bread was so soft. Order off the vegan menu. You have to ask for the vegan menu. They also have a menu with no peanuts, no garlic and gluten free just ask your server. Will definitely be returning.

We ordered so much stuff and they've all been really amazing. The highlight of all the appetizers we got was the kale chaat (mild). It was a very flavorful and unique. The nanns were also a win. They were nice and crispy. The dosa was soft and very mild I was really surprised by it. This was probably the lowest point of the meals. We also had chicken tikka masala and mango lassi, which was decent. Tip: if you like more spice ask for their sauce mix so you could add it to your dish and kick it up a notch. Or if it's too spicy, ask for tamarind sauce. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating. We had a slight mixup with the appetizer and they basically just gave that extra one for free for us. This extra dish was basically a different version of another appetizer we already ordered. Haha. The cooks work really fast. I think we were in and out in less than an hour for all this food. The place is very colorful and very neat. And now that I think about it, it doesn't smell too strongly of spice like other places that serve similar food. Take that as you will. There's free parking out front.

Excellent food, service, and wonderful place. We were slightly confused when we first pulled into the parking lot, since we were going Northbound on OBT- At first didn't realize the entrance was on the side of the building, instead of facing the busy road. Quickly amended! There's a few outdoor tables that were mostly shaded in the evening when we visited, but no one was outside. We were quickly greeted and seated upon entering, and as always in an ethnic food place, seeing those of the same nationality as the food always means it's going to be good- we were the only table not of the ethnicity when we walked in. Got the samasa chat to start while perusing the rest of the menu, and it was delicious. The sauce over the sliced samosa was well balanced, and the chickpeas and the samosas themselves were soft and well cooked. My partner got the tikka chicken, which came with a small side of plain rice, and I got the biryani chicken- we both ordered Mild since this was our first visit, and we wanted a starting point to gauge the spice levels before accidentally ordering too spicy and not enjoying the layers of spices as much. Perhaps a bit more rice for the tikka would have been nice, OR we should have ordered some naan, but this visit we did not- this would have been my only "negative" criticism of the entire meal. My biryani was plentiful, the flavor well steeped, and my partner could immediately tell that the spice blend for his tikka was ground in house because of the nuances that we could actually detect in some of the more delicate flavors. The chicken in both dishes was well cooked and still moist- not overcooked or hard, which just told me how made to order our food was, while still being very, very quickly brought to us. I stuck with water to drink and got a mango lassi that I enjoyed both throughout my dinner and as my after dinner "dessert." I took quite a bit of the biryani home to enjoy later, but that is NOT a compliant! The flavors got to continue to bloom overnight and it was just as delicious the next day, if not more so. Can't wait to visit again!

Food was amazing here. It's genuinely the best Indian food place that I've ever tried. They definitely have a unique selection of food which isn't common. The biggest issue I had with the restaurant was the fact that there is little to no parking, and they don't have very many people taking orders. Orders are taken on a card machine which definitely slows things down, and we waited a lot of the time after eating for payment. We asked three times for to go boxes which we never ended up receiving. It took us about 2-3 hours to leave the restaurant after sitting down. I definitely think it's a place worth going to, but I would set aside time to go there.

Bombay Street Kitchen made for such a fun and flavorful date night spot! The vibe is warm and energetic, and lively enough to feel exciting but still cozy enough for good conversation. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive without ever hovering, which made the evening feel effortless. We started with pani puri, one of my favorites. The pani puri came with a sweet tamarind sauce and a spicier mint sauce. Both were super yummy! We followed up with the street dosa, which did not last long on the table lol! The chicken 65 brought the spice and crunch, making it a great dish to split with plenty of leftovers for later. The goat biriyani was rich, aromatic, and comforting. It was the kind of dish that makes you slow down and savor. (Goat is always a favorite of mine) Between the atmosphere, the flavors, and the genuinely kind service, Bombay Street Kitchen feels like a hidden gem for couples looking to mix a little adventure into their dinner plans. We'll definitely be back for round two!

    Samosa chaat
    Amy W.

Found Bombay Street Kitchen on the Michelin list of bib gourmand restaurants while in Orlando for work. All I can say is, wow! The price to portion ratio and flavors are amazing!! Samosa chaat is one of my go-to's at Indian restaurants and this one did not disappoint. Extremely flavorful without being super heavy. The chole bhature was the size of a head. We ordered the pani puri first, which arrived at our table in just a minute. It is a favorite of mine but I almost wish I saved room for other menu ideas. We also ordered the mango lassi, which is a must get. Easy parking and spacious seating inside. Service is super friendly and fast.

The pakora was fried perfectly and had the right amount of spices, making it so flavorful and addicting that my mom enjoyed it so much. The meat area had Chicken Tikka Masala, Cashew Chicken, Goat Biryani, and Tandoori Chicken. All were wonderful. The biryani had nice pieces of goat, but most of them had bones. The the goat was tender and flavorful from being with the bones. The cashew chicken was good, but also had bones. The chicken tikka was boneless and the chicken was soft. The sauces were flavorful and medium spiced. The tandoori chicken was cooked nicely, but you did need a knife and fork to cut it. For the vegetarian dishes, the okra and potato were both enjoyable. The paneer dish was a bit too sweet for me, and the vegetable biryani seemed to have golden raisins, which I didn't enjoy. For dessert, I just took the fruit custard, which was mostly just fruit in a mango milk/sauce. It was still delicious! We all agreed that the food was great here for the buffet! The service is good, but can be busy. While our plates got cleared for the first rounds, it did pile up during the second round and dessert. It didn't get cleared until we left. It was ok because we had enough space to eat anyways. I also noticed that relaxing piano music was in the background, so it does help calm the atmosphere in a tourist area. The price increased to about 20 dollars per person, but this is still a great deal. With various types of food to enjoy and unlimited portions til your stuffed, it's an excellent value. The cheese naan is unlike any paneer naan we have tried before--almost like a cheesy quesadilla. They didn't have Aloo Choley listed, but when we asked, the kitchen put together a version with chickpeas and potatoes that turned out delicious. We ordered the Dal Maharani, and while our waitress asked about spice level, it felt like she made the decision for us. We enjoy spice, but even the first bite was hotter than we expected, and we barely ate any of it despite it being otherwise flavorful. Toward the end, our waitress asked us to leave a review... and then stood there waiting. When my husband said we were still chatting, she kept circling back to check, which felt pretty pushy. Later, when we requested to-go boxes, she said "there is no rush" and then disappeared. We had to ask again. Overall, the food is good and the staff is mostly friendly, but the unexpectedly fiery dal and the slightly overzealous service kept this from being a 5-star experience.

Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to expectations. My wife chose the buffet, assuming everything would be freshly prepared at opening time. To our surprise, every single item on the buffet line was cold -- from the rice and chicken dishes to the biryani and palak paneer. If a restaurant opens at 11:30, the food should be hot and ready to serve. Cold curries and rice immediately take away from both texture and flavor, and in this case, the dishes tasted flat and lacked the depth of spices you expect from Indian cuisine. Based on this visit, I would recommend skipping the buffet and ordering from the regular menu instead. Buffet selections often feel like the more economical options, and here they were devoid of the bold flavors that make Indian food so memorable. I ordered the chicken biryani from the à la carte menu. It was noticeably better -- aromatic and more flavorful than the buffet items. However, it still missed an important element. Traditionally, biryani is prepared by marinating the chicken and cooking it together with the rice so the spices infuse the meat and every bite is cohesive. In this case, while the rice carried some fragrance, the chicken itself was not well marinated and tasted bland on its own. It felt more assembled than thoughtfully cooked together. Another important point is pricing. The dishes are on the expensive side, and at those prices, the flavors and overall quality should be excellent. When you're paying premium prices, you expect depth of seasoning, proper preparation, and attention to detail -- not cold buffet trays or under-marinated meat. Service was the bright spot of the visit. The staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our meal. Overall, not a terrible experience, but certainly disappointing. With better attention to temperature, flavor development, and consistency, this place could justify its pricing -- but on this visit, it fell short.

You need to come here! Not very many places in Melbourne do authentic foods, but Persis does!…read moreI got the mirapakaya vodi vepudu (fried chicken pieces in a green chili and spicy sauce) and chicken biryani in medium heat. I enjoy spice so it was spicy to me but not to the point where I was not able to enjoy it. My nose was running and I loved every bite. I enjoyed a hot indian tea while I ate also. The service was great & I think they have the space well decorated. Whoever reviewed and said they have a limited menu was wrong because they have MANY options and traditional dishes that the adventurous eater would love. They have butter chicken and curry etc. also. Something for everyone.

Keep in mind I have been to India several times and other states/countries and had the real stuff. I can say this was pretty close. So good. We had Butter Chicken. So good. So flavorful and the heat level was perfect. It was seasoned just right and the chicken melted in your mouth. A winning dish for sure. We also had Paleek Paneer. Again, perfect creaminess. It was good, but missing something to put it over the top. The garlic naan was a winner. So good. I was a little disappointed at the "sweet" naan. That was definitely missing something. The rice was perfect as expected. This place is so clean. The staff were awesome as well. We will be back!

After some digging online, we found this place and decided to take a chance. First impression? A bit of a mixed bag. It's tucked in the back of a plaza, almost like a mini food court setup. But the moment you walk inside, it's like stepping into the Middle East--the sights, the smells, the atmosphere instantly set the tone. Headed to the back where it's counter service with community seating. It was fairly quiet (we went early), but the service was friendly, attentive, and the food came out quickly. Then came the food... and wow. Absolute jackpot. We ordered several items, and every single one was authentic and incredibly flavorful. This is the kind of place you almost want to keep to yourself because it's that good. Easily some of the most satisfying, genuine food we've had in the area. At the end of the day, location doesn't matter when the food is this strong--it is the experience. "We'll be back" doesn't quite cover it. We'll be regulars.

It was my first time eating this and I thought it was really good. Environment Located inside a plaza, almost like a food court style place as there were other restaurants with open seating. You place your order and they call you when things are ready. Everything is served in these one-use plates and forks Niceness of the staff Minimal interactions, was able to get what needed to get. I'd say the service was a little on the slow side but nonetheless I got what I needed. Dollar Very reasonable, just here for the food, no real service. Yes I would def return here
